This is the only Vons that needs to change how they have Uber pickups.
All the other Vons has the order brought from the back to the pickup person.
This Vons has the order by the door is why people are taking the Uber orders.
Also the manager followed me to my car talking junk. If you do not want theft then keep order in back till we show up with a name of pickup.
Store need help with this issue.

Come here all the time when I visit my elderly parents. These reviews are all grumpy chumps, the staff here has always been helpful and nice and I'd imagine it's just entitled people already having bad days being too overly harsh on the employees here. I've never had a bad experience at this Vons and I do a lot of traveling (even then every place is gonna have off days, every person their moments). Prices are good, selections is good, I like this place a lot and I reviewed solely to stick up for it cause some of these negative reviews are straight up bogus.

This is the most unprofessional vons I have ever been to. The employees in the deli are the most incompetent, rudest people who do not do their jobs and ignore customers and then have the audacity to be belligerent to the customers. I will make sure everyone I know never shops here again.

I had a delivery of water I got here at 4:30 and I asked them if they can unload me they told me about 5:20 . So 5:20 I went to the gate and I'm hearing the receiver talking to the other worker talking about me I'm the driver and they're cussing saying that if you screw the driver and this is not acceptable I hope I can hear from the manager they should just told me at 7:00 and I do not appreciate that and I'm hearing them talking about me and cussing this is not going to be acceptable

The manager on duty was very helpful. I apologize I did not get her name. Blonde hair and on top of her job. Helped me with a few questions. Heavy cream for corn chowder. Thanks for the help. ?

I visited vons yesterday the 27th for the second time by myself. I’m a 19 year old woman so doing things like going grocery shopping by yourself can be stressful. I entered vons through the door closest to CVS and realized they don’t have baskets by the door and it was mainly just flowers. So I walked past the isles and towards the other entrance to retrieve a cart from outside. As I passed the Starbucks (4:32 pm) a shorter middle aged lady stopped me, she was wearing various pink clothing and had a vons apron with a name tag. She touched my arm and said “Are you gonna pay for your stuff?” This caught me really off guard because I was already nervous to be at vons to begin with. I told her that I came in through the other door and I hadn’t grabbed any items yet but I needed a cart. She stared at me for a second and started rambling about how she was sent up here. I asked her for clarification and said “You said I was stealing?” She then ran off without apologizing and I didn’t see her for the rest of my visit. I’m not really a person to complain about customer service workers because I understand the job isn’t very pleasant. But claiming that someone is stealing when you very obviously have no proof and decided that because I’m a young woman trying to grocery shop that means I’m stealing. This event caused me a decent amount of stress, I don’t think I’ll return to vons again.

Older store that has been around for decades. One of the cashier's is pretty rude and has complaints on various review site - try to avoid her lane if she's working. Usually shop at TJs and Sprouts when I can, but occasionally need to come here for stuff not carried at other stores. They will be moving to a new location once it is built sometime next year, so hopefully things will be better.

Best ice in town. That being said the employees are rude. They roll their eyes and reluctantly do what is requested. When I buy sliced meats I usually come home and discover pepper flake or other detritus from previous slicing. The employee in the deli was talking loudly about the rats and possums they are finding. The butcher counter employees pretend not to see anyone and act like they have better things to do than sell me meat. Come on Vons...you raise your prices constantly...at least have happy employees. DO BETTER !
