“I love Dr. Miller. He is such a wonderful Veternarian. He really cares. The surgeon he has on staff is also wonderful. She did an emergency mastectomy of 3 teets on my 16-year-old cat with a stage 3 heart murmur and did such an excellent job. She recovered very fast with no complications. I would and have recommended Mission Oaks vet to many people.”

“I had a one year old kitten who, I thought, had a bad fall. He had a big bump on his face above one eye one day. I wasn't able to get into our regular vet and took him here. I was pleased with the amount of compassion and information we got. Unfortunately, after being seen, the following days he got worse. Again I was able to easily get him in to be seen. The progressive rate his bump was getting worse and causing more problems, it became clear it was a brain tumor. We had to make the ultimate decision to put him out of his rapidly increasing misery and let him go. They were so informative, understanding and compassionate. It was my 5yo sons cat. They allowed him to be involved in the process and had him hold and love on him during the injection. I appreciate that they didn't question us as parents, we wanted to teach a big life lesson. We weren't about to lie or be deceptive. Honestly, I think he took the overall experience better because he was involved. We got to take him home and bury him, he gets to put flowers on his grave and talk to him when he wants. The office sent us a card signed by every employee. Personal notes inside. It took me by surprise. It's that extra personal touch that solidified my confidence that this is a dedicated, loving vets office. The whole staff was so friendly, supportive and helpful.”

“Typical PETCO! The only difference is they have marine fish and inverts but be cautious and inspect before buying; especially if there's a Tang in there. The only PETCO in Ventura County that sells marine fish and invertebrates.Employees need to be better trained to care for their animals; poor living conditions and habitats. Incapable fish are mixed with aggressive fish which causes stress and possible death.The only thing saving from a horrible is their employee name John. He is always helpful, polite and tentative to the customers. OUTSTANDING customer service and I've seen do everything in the store.”
