Padre Serra is a community of communities. While it is Catholic liturgy, everyone is welcome and there is a group for everyone. I have several disabilities. Not only am I welcome and accepted, I am assisted when I need it. Jesus is the center of our community life. Kids, teens, young adults, men, women, moms, vets, and everyone else is positively welcomed - no matter how you do or do not identify. I don't know how pastor Patrick managed to stay so hopeful during pandemic, but that's the reality in this community. Our pastor wants us to wear any kind of a name tag ... Some do revolt and they are welcome, too. Two person rule and background check for everyone who ministers with young ones. Safety is fully supported. Oh, and lovely religious music and excellent preaching. Worship aid for each week's music and prayers. We want you here and it's just fine if you don't come. It meets so many of our human needs... better than social media.
