I would rate this zero stars but this site doesn't give you that option. I went to visit this local thrift store because of the charities they donate too. So I walked in and 5 minutes passed no one greeted me or even smiled for that matter. The person in the store was distracted and preoccupied with his phone to even notice I had walked in. I've worked in retail for years and customer service is a priority. Without customers their is no buisness. These employees need to be retrained , everyone in the store looked lost as if they had no supervision and from my observation as if they were just winging it. This is unacceptable in retail or any buisness establishment. If I were the owner of this store I would want better quality people working for me that displays proper etiquette and have pride in their work. Poor customer service. And as I walked out I didn't purchase anything no one even said thank you it's like I wasn't even there. I was invisible!!!! So I stopped outside to look at the website and I knew instantly to write a review. And I also noticed that when people donate to these charities how do they confirm that donations have been distributed to the cause?? Most recent donation was posted in 2020. Like I said I was drawn to this thrift store because of the cause. I am a animal lover, kennel manager and I've volunteered for many shelters and worked with several animal rescues so I am deeply concerned. If I was to donate to K9 charity how do I confirm that it's actually being donated to the cause and not kept for a individual's financial gain..... perhaps dishonest employees or management. ????.
As if the bad customer service wasn't enough, this drew Red Flags for me! Upper management should really look into this because it's bad for buisness.

Save A Life Thrift Store always has good music, good sales going on, great regular priced clothes, AC going during summer, a big warehouse and is a cool shop. I believe the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Theres alot of people who believe in and like this shop

I came down to visit my brother and niece they told me to check out Save a Life Thrift Stores. I love to thrift shop and see what deals I can get. They help the animals and i have 4 rescues of my own. When I entered the store there were 2 guys up front. One greeted me with a very stern voice asking if I wanted to hear the sales. I said yes. I saw another guy sitting down, he was on his phone. I walked around the store and noticed some of the prices on items that are low at other stores were high here. My brother told me this store is clean but I saw trash on the floor. There was another guy who came out behind a curtain really fast like in a rush and almost ran into me when I was walking by the area. I went to the front to ask a question but the 2 gentleman were talking and ignored. I stood there for 2 minutes. The experience was not what my brother told me. they help the animals but this store is not what i was told about. the store is very friendly especially the female supervisor but I saw no female supervisor the store was not very friendly. I will not shop here again.

This is nice and cozy store with wonderful products at great prices with frequent discounts. There is even a warehouse with furniture and other knick knacks. You can feel good about shopping here because it's a nonprofit. I would definitely recommend shopping at this store if you're nearby.

Not only are they racist, but they will accuse you of stealing to get you to leave the store. When I asked them for proof of the video where they saw me stealing they told me "just don’t do it again" I noticed the lady working there telling customers (which I’m sure they are her friends) how to make sure they get "extra deals" but to make sure they don’t mention she told them. It’s so obvious she’s the real thief and I’ve over heard her a few times because embarrassingly I used to go often. But never again

Staff is so unfriendly, they always make you feel like you are bothering them. They are overpriced and always open later and close earlier than what their store hours are suppose to be. Never again stopping at their warehouse.

Wonderful business to support, both from a donation standpoint and items to purchase. Manager is great! Extremely helpful.

Don’t donate here. They won’t bring it out.

One star for the nice selection of sale items. Don't bother donating anything here. The staff act like you are bothering them. They advertise that they want furniture both online and on placards in front of the store. However, the person who handles donation pick ups is out indefinitely. No one else can be bothered to take over for her. Avoid this place.

I have donated and shopped here since you were first opened.I have always felt that you have the cleanest Thrift Store! Your entire inventory is always clean and in great working condition. Your prices are very reasonable and I find it’s difficult to keep my purchases down…in other words, I always spend more than I had budgeted. ?I recently brought in a full car of carefully packed (in boxes ?) items and after a woman ahead of me was finished unloading all kinds of stuff, most were loose (drapes, pillows etc) there was a fellow helping her unload…I then started to offload my boxes and placed them together, off to the side. As this woman drove away the fellow was very agitated ? and started to open many of my boxes (in and out of my car) he started telling me “we can’t take any of this” and proceeded to put some of my boxes back into my car. Needless to say, I was terribly upset and told him that I only donate my good items to your business and all the other items of very little value or condition, I give those to Goodwill! He could have cared less!I had planned to go into the store after dropping off all of my items BUT I was SO upset that I took everything over to Goodwill. I then just drove on home. I have been hesitant to return much less donate or shop (I really don’t want to run into that fellow again)So sorry to have to bring this up BUT how many others have had this same experience? From now on I’ll have my items picked up via your truck… I will not stop ? donating to your incredible organization.

Highly recommend this thrift store. Their employees are friendly, greet customers the minute you walk-in to inform you what are the deals of the day, clothing very affordable and everything are well organized. Each week always a special sale for certain categories like glassware, kitchens, artwork. Occasionally, there is a 60% entire store which I loved to shop and support good causes Daliah N. Daliah N.

I would like to shop there more because it goes to a good cause. But the prices are so high. Same stuff sitting there for same price after 5 months. The items for $10 are often worn out and not even worth $5. Why not lower cost and sell more instead of having everything just sit there. ?? Please. I would love to be able to shop there.
