I come here sometimes to cash my payroll checks and bonuses. Only branch that gives me a hard time. Calling multiple people in my office to verify that they made the check. Again it only happens here in Camarillo. When I go to the ventura branch, they are so nice and helpful. Again these are payroll checks.

I love this bank. There’s never a line. Everyone is friendly. They smile. There’s good background music playing. If I don’t feel like going in, there’s a drive through. It’s never packed . They’re really nice there. It reminds me of the good old days.It’s so refreshingly different than BofA across town, where they have a big open building that’s packed with employees and customers and there’s only one teller. It takes forever to get anything done and they’re not nice at all. Pacific Western Bank is doing it right. I appreciate them. Thank you .

My mother and I have been banking here since Pacific Western took over the previous bank. We've received excellent service including: cashing checks, making deposits, getting into the safe deposit box, making complicated transfers; assistance with setting up online account access; and help with some complicated document preparation. It's rare to walk in without someone calling out a greeting. I can't recall standing in a line of more than one other person. I especially appreciate that they always ask me for ID when cashing a check or transfering funds, even though I think they all know my face. The manager is highly knowledgeable and goes over and above to make things simple and efficient. She has a gift for sorting out confusing transactions or other problems and is highly professional yet totally gracious and welcoming. My one complaint, and the reason I know the people inside so well, is the ATM is the slowest one I've EVER used. I started banking inside to avoid that ATM; now I bank inside because I enjoy the warm reception and quick transactions - faster than the machine!

This place is terrible. The worst. I went to set up an easy transfer from one account to another (ACH) to take place on certain dates. NO-ONE in there told me there were 2-5 business day wait while I was in there for over an hour setting this up, until the transaction was 3 days late and still hadn't gone through from their end- defeating the entire purpose of setting dates for this. They even told me to call back on a day they were closed (unknowing to me) so they could get me off the phone. I called in on a Monday and got some attitude, saying it's no-ones fault that they didn't give me the info that I needed before I set this up with them. ---This place should go under serious review-- potential clients of this bank BEWARE

I was forced to come here after Wells Fargo decided it was necessary to screw me over. First off this building is very out dated and the customer service is a joke when they don't even really know what their doing. You can't do much on an ATM other than check your balance and are closed on the weekends so I'm forced to wait to cash my check. I really haven't enjoyed my service with this bank and will be changing very soon.
