Nature's Best Nurseries is a local, family-run business with a knowledgeable and helpful owner on the premises. The owner is fluent in English and Spanish. This nursery has reasonable and great prices, with many plants grown right on site. It offers a great selection, including native milkweed and drought-tolerant plants, though some note a desire for more native plant options. Everything is well taken care of with lots to choose from. The nursery is located at the bottom of the Norwegian Grade when leaving Thousand Oaks for Moorpark, on the left just past the iconic Joel McCrea Ranch. It is a convenient and lovely place to support local businesses.
