Linda Power has done my taxes for me for years and she is a dream. She is very knowledgeable and explains in detail how it all works and what I can expect. We always have a laugh and when you are discussing taxes, laughing is important!

H&R Block, and more specifically, my tax advisor, Brigitte Geissel, make filing taxes an almost pleasurable experience. I feel confident I am receiving top notch service with every deduction and credit possible.

No idea what the person's name is, I made an appt for 12 today and got a message saying it was at 2. I called to confirm and this woman tells me with nasty attitude "I already had a 12 o clock, I can't take 2 people at the same time". You don't say, Sherlock. I asked if they don't honor what is booked online and started answering with her nasty attitude so I stopped her and told her there was no need for attitude, that I was simply asking a question and she answered saying she didn't know, that she was the only one, and that when she left on Thursday she already had a 12 o clock. You're a tax preparer, not working on a cure for a deadly disease, no need for attitude. Taking my business elsewhere.

The person who was preparing our taxes was rude Linda Powers or Howard- lacking professional courtesy along with her manager or lead Gabby- the tax preparer was asking me about deductions and I go on to explain and with every answer came a condescending remark borderline harassing. She proceeded to berate me and I responded with I understand- she ignored me to continue as to add insult to injury, I said i understand and don’t have any further deductions… she pushed our paperwork into the floor of her desk and said- I’m done - Gabby I’m not doing their taxes! This was after my wife made an appointment, then Gabby came over and said everyone else is busy- she took the side of her co-worker didn’t ask me what was wrong - I’m the customer I wasn’t yelling, cursing or being rude - I was offended I’m a 58 year old Hispanic male and was asked to leave after I said I can go outside then Gabby pointed her stubby finger at the door and said - leave!!! So I did- I sat in my car- the receptionist was the only one pleasant and courteous - she knew I was diabetic and prior to the meeting - I asked if it would be okay if I waited outside to take my shots and eat as I’m a diabetic. She said sure I totally understand my fathers diabetic.They all should take lessons from the receptionist very professional. I was allowed to come back inside and pay 400 dollars they charged me to prepare my taxes- I went inside and paid - I’ll call the corporate office in Kansas City Mo. this is the first time I’ve been treated like this after going here for years.So if your looking to be abused - disrespected - thrown out - after being a diabetic on insulin and Hispanic while being 58 - then you’ve come to the right place - avoid Gabby and the mid 60’s Caucasian lady with grey hair named Linda Howard. If you want to be respected as a customer then choose either a different location or a different company altogether.Very unprofessional - I would welcome the call from the corporate office in Missouri. I wouldn’t recommend to my family or friends. They should be ashamed of their selves.

Appointment with Linda Powers? RUUNNN! My experience was beyond terrible. Treats people like they are inferior. The more documents I mentioned I had, the more her attitude changed. I would not recommend it. Oh and she doesn't know much about crypto. I will say tho, the receptionist has a great attitude.
