“Process to get credit card authorization form that is needed for after hours check in was annoying and time consuming (hunting them down to send me the forms, I fill them out & send back minutes after finally receiving, to only be notified day of that they didn't get them due to their email apparently being down. Other than that, everything was fine. Super clean, comfy room, good sized fridge, easy drive to everything we were doing in Ventura & can walk to a few restaurants from hotel.”

“Was it a five-star hotel? No but that's not what I paid for. I had a great time though. I had bunk beds and a king size bed. My sink was broken and overflowed some yucky stuff but they came and cleaned it up right away. They had a decent breakfast. Beds were nice and comfy. I had a great time.”

“Everything from customer service, to how clean the rooms we’re and they amenities we’re all spectacular but They really need to do something about the damaged parking area. i was told they remodeled a few years back. But I guess they ran out money to do the parking area.”

“Great hotel to stay in when visiting Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. I drove up with my dog for a few days to visit the different beaches, parks and trails.

The room was 'pet friendly' and spacious. It was ready when I arrived and very clean. They also have a dog station just outside of the hotel and provide waste bags if needed.

My only issue, is the proximity of the 'pet friendly' room to the lobby. It's a high traffic area, so my dog would bark or get startled whenever someone would walk by talking loud or the housekeeping would pass by with their cart.

Other than that, great hotel, friendly staff and good wifi connection. I would stay there again next time I'm in the area with or without my dog.

Rooms: Spacious, easy to clean hard floor in pet friendly room.

Nearby activities: State Parks, beaches, dog parks, canyon trails and bike trails (jog/walk too).

Safety: Well lit area, walked my dog around 10pm and felt safe.

Walkability: Walking distance to shopping center with various food options and a Ralphs.”

“My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Camarillo Hampton Inn. It is conveniently located next to amazing restaurants and tons of shopping. Literally every member of the staff at the Hampton Inn is so nice. Each team member smiles and says hello when you pass them. They are ready and willing to help if you need anything. My interactions with Alma in particular, truly made my stay a great one. Alma is so sweet. Alma is positive, friendly and so helpful. She takes pride in her work and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home during your stay. Hampton Inn is so lucky to have Alma on their team. Thank you Alma for being such a bright light at our new home away from home. Overall we loved the cold air conditioning, fresh clean towels, strong water pressure, gym and free water and coffee. I wish the breakfast went a little later so we could have tired it. Next time you need a nice place to stay give the Hampton Inn a try. I guarantee you'll make a friend and leave with a smile.”

“I made the mistake of booking through a party which I did not realize I had done until the bookkeeping was complete. It turned into a huge mess that the third party company was unwilling to help me with. I called the hotel directly and asked to speak with a manager. I was put on touch with Marcus who handled my situation exceptionally well.
When I arrived at the hotel I was still having some issues with my reservation. Marcus helped despite the fact that he had already gone home for the night.

“No microwave in upstairs room 214. Standard room. Room was clean but smelled like urine. Maybe the carpet? Didn't have time to tell office staff. Pool is open 9am to 9pm. No hot tub. Fairly priced vending machines near office as well as ice machine, bathrooms and microwave that you can use.”

“Comfortable rooms for a good price. Staff are friendly and helpful. Popular with families, so the lobby can be a bit active. Small pool, so a family may capitalize it rather easily.
Good location for access to the outlet mall and some great dining.”

“Every month I go down to Cali for a few days and i stay at different hotels every time for fun.
This month I stayed at sonesta select .WOW.
The service to the room was outstanding the staff was to nice and understanding to my slight disability and gave me a room that perfect . Clean and the suite was big and so modern . Two big tvs blow my mind in A room .come on down and Experience. A great sleep . And if you can't sleep go
to the bistro and have a drink and some eats .
