Moved from La county to Ventura county, gold cost health is the worst , it became my nightmare to deal with , customer service is the worst, can't speak with supervisor every time I have to wait for call back and they never called me , I have special need son need more attention , 4 months the and nothing had been done yet. Wondering what are they doing in their office. Wish o can give a biding ZERO.

I have been contacting them for over a year to get reimbursed for services I've received. Their system is always down and employees can't help or don't know how. I can't speak to a supervisor directly but have to wait for a call back that never happens. They were sending letters to me about my claims to the wrong address saying I wasn't responsible for payment. Latest time I called they said another company has to deal with the claim after all the times I've contacted. And they immediately call me after I filed another claim to reiterate that I have to be reimbursed through their partner company but still no supervisor contact.

Absolutely the worst insurance company for Medi-Cal managed Care the service is beyond horrible the quality of the providers is absolute s*** I have to pay for private insurance because I have to deal with these people if I don't have private Gold Coast health plan staff are really disrespectful rude and unhelpful and incompetent their customer service department really Lacks caring for their clients they deny many claims and hold people back from services that they actually need they underutilize them and their utilization nurse should be fired the only good person at Gold Coast health plan is Leanne nurse care manager five stars to her but otherwise this health plan is on my bad list they're very slow with processing claims and they don't approve enough appointments at a time my doctor's had a really hard time working with Gold Coast health plan because they are very difficult to work with very unprofessional and I'm extremely disappointed also their member ID cards are very cheap and they peel really easily I hope that there's changes to come soon for them for their sake

Gold Coast has a monopoly over the health care system in Ventura County. Anyone with Medicaid or Medicare is forced to see only the sub-par and negligent doctors employed by them.

They continue to impress me with how inept they are. They do not care about members but will openly admit THEY WOULD NOT want the same treatment. Have a problem - too bad. They don't care .

The worst insurance I have ever dealt it. Their staff is incompetent and constantly make mistakes and give out wrong information. This causes delays with getting procedures and medication. I have wasted countless hours trying to get this straight and fix their mistakes.Terrible customer service. Strongly recommend you don't get their coverage.

Never have I been treated with such disrespect and lied to so many times. I've had to call them and I've been hung up on mid sentence, one told me he was going to lunch and to call back and get in line again. When asked to speak with manager there is never one avail and today the person had no way to conneçt me or request someone call me back. Someone should really shut this place down!

The number is a scam number for medical insurance and it's hijacking the Gold Coast Health Plan Google listing. Gold Coast needs to pay better attention and update the phone number.

Just got off the phone with someone called Samantha. Wasn't helpful at all. Called to verify a few things concerning details on their website and she just hung up on me. The one star is just for what I saw on their website. Looks good. I'll probably try another route of contacting them to seek help that my Mom desperately needs. Thanks Samantha!!

They hire you at a great pay rate, but then treat you shabbily. If you have connection issues and it's the computer they sent, they'll fire you even when the trainers say don't worry about production. Worst place to work.
