I took my five month old Coton De Tulear puppy to the classes after signing up for the basic beginner training program and I am pleased I did. The classes were well planned and well run and attended by owners of several different dog breeds all of similar age to my puppy. The classes were held outside and included the very basic commands of sit, stay, come, fetch and walking on a loose leash without pulling. There were more advanced programs also offered which unfortunately I could not attend due to other commitments. Genie and the other members of her team were always very attentive, polite and professional with lots of patience and personal instructions, also all of the dogs seemed to enjoy each others company.

My dog, Crouton and I, just completed a training course with Genie Tuttle. Genie was awesome! Her credentials are superior and her training methods are above par. She is patient, kind and funny. She makes each class fun and understandable to both humans and dogs. I highly recommend her group training classes. She helped turn my shy, reactive dog into a sweet companion. Please check her out!

Genie is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and was so helpful to us as brand new dog owners. She taught us how to set firm standards with our dog and communicate with her while always being kind and only using clicker training and positive reinforcement. The classes were very informative and a lot of fun. Millie loved it and so did we!

I highly recommend Genie! We have done both group training and one on one training with Dog Genie and she is absolutely the best! Last year we got a very active puppy and we needed help. Now we can take her with us anywhere we go and she does great! We rescued another dog a couple months ago and he had separation anxiety. He is much better than before. Genie taught us the skills we needed. Thank you Genie for the help with both our dogs.

Genie is the best of the best. I can't speak enough praise for her and the work she does. Her passion and love for animals exude through everything she does. She really is a genie when it comes to animals. We have done both her basic and intermediate skills courses, as well as private training. She is always incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful. Our dog was a particularly difficult case, but she took the time to help us find a solution. She went on message boards, Facebook groups, and podcasts to try to find any information that could help us with our problem. Eventually, through a lot of trial and error guided by her, she was able to fix our unfixable dog. Genie is fabulous at what she does, and her positivity is infectious. I recommend her to anyone with a dog. She is simply the best.

I contacted Dog Genie out of sheer desperation. Our new dog Dante, an 8 month old mixed breed we adopted from the shelter 5 weeks prior, began getting very aggressive with my husband. I saw him lunge toward my husband and give my husband a warning bite him on the face. This was 100% my husband’s fault because he didn’t honor Dante’s many warnings. Dante’s distrust of my husband was escalating rapidly. I was scared the next bite wouldn’t be a warning and feared we would have to rehome Dante. This would have been devastating because we were already so attached. Genie met with us over Zoom and told us what we needed to do to try and resolve this problem. I am not kidding, within 48 hours it worked. It’s still a process and my husband learned to respect Dante’s boundaries. We practice what we learned from Genie on a daily basis. Today, we are one happy family thanks to Genie! I am so grateful. This is a picture of Dante leaning back to give my husband a kiss. ?

Dog Genie ??♂️ Genie is the most caring person I know when it comes to Dog training. I have seen her in action. She truly enjoys being with the dogs. Whether it’s teaching them manners or having fun with nose work. Genie is very passionate about her work. Thank you Genie for being a wonderful asset to our community.

Genie is a wonder! After bringing home a puppy just before the COVID-19 pandemic, I knew I had to get just the right trainer for Patch's first socialization. Genie is just such a trainer. I am so happy to have found a trainer with Genie's methodology. She employs the clicker method and uses only kindness and positive reinforcement to help you train your dog. All the dogs in the class just loved her! She trains you to build a positive working relationship with your dog so you can work together. At the end of the course you will have all the tools necessary for a happy, well behaved pet. Patch is already signed up for the next level of training. Thanks, Genie!

Genie is fantastic. I'm a dog-walking volunteer with a dog rescue and I've had an opportunity to attend several training sessions with various local dog trainers... Genie is hands-down the most effective. She is positive reinforcement only and really understands dog behavior. The tools she gives you can be used in various situations with all different dogs... Example: Our current rescue pittie used to hang under the dinner table to gobble up toddler food scraps (a no-no for a dog with IBD!). We started leashing her and giving treats across the kitchen for a week or so, and now during meals she just heads over to her spot by the fridge, gets a little cookie, and goes right to sleep! No punishments, no yelling. Just set up to succeed with positive associations. Love you Genie!!
