This business is horrible! I paid off my account months ago yet they are reporting to my credit I am late! I have my whole account paid off as of months ago yet I get a second notification on my credit I am 60 days late! I keep calling them and no call bk! Do not use them!

Went in to look for earrings and they were bringing everything but what I wanted. The I gave them my account number. But they Still ran my credit without my permission. I will not shop somewhere where the bombard me.

Beware of this place, it is a rip off. They had a sale going for 80% off store wide. We go a ring that was 11k supposedly, a chain that was 1500 this is before taxes. So 12500 x 7.25% in taxes will amount to around 13400 - 80% so that would leave you with about around 2680. Why is our total bill over 5k? Joy was the sales person. They sweet talk you but behind the desk they're ripping you off. Then you try to return it like 1 day later & they say you can't when on the website it tells you you have 10 days money back guaranteed or 30 days. I will follow up with corporate to look into it. People work hard for their money to be getting ripped off like that.

I came in Looking for an upgrade ring for my wife (wedding ) and met with the best service from Joy K, Marie , and Mina . These ladies were professional , knowledgeable and gave outstanding customer service . Joy k made the approval process seamless and got me approved for much higher than I anticipated. Please go see those ladies ! Highly recommend

Part One:I would like to file a grievance re: Daniel's Jewelers Camarillo and its employees, Marijoy and Mina. My husband and I have been a customer of Daniel's Jewelers. It is only at this Daniel's store that we were treated so poorly. I will be breaking down my complaint with receipts and a voice recording during our last store visit for your records.This past Labor Day, my husband opted to go to this mentioned store above to browse around for a ring to give to me on my birthday. He opted for a white gold ring and also purchased an earring for my mom. The labor day sale they had was going on so he purchased the said items. Please see attached picture below for the receipt dated 9/5/22 printed from his Daniel's account. (The store took the original receipt on 9/15/22). He placed in a downpayment of $600 for that transaction. Now, on that same receipt, our monthly payment was stated to be $243/month for 18 months. Upon showing me the ring a few days later, we decided decided to have it switched to a yellow gold ring to match an old earring that I have. He came back to the store on 9/15/22 (exactly 10 days from the day of purchase) and asked for the ring to be exchanged to a yellow gold ring. The ring that he chose was $900 more, so again he placed an additional $200 cash for it. (Please see exchange receipt dated 9/15/22 --7:19 pm). I happened to review the receipt when he picked me up from work that day. On the same receipt for that "exchange" transaction, I questioned him about a "Sel and Del 720-00000 Registry charge" on the receipt and asked what it was for. The "Sel and Del 720-00000 Registry charge" amounted to $999. So for that simple ring exchange, we paid $900 for the price difference between the original ring and the 2nd ring (yellow gold) that he chose as an exchange plus the Sel and Del 720-00000 Registry charge of $999. Everything amounted to $1,899 plus sales tax of $65.25. Our balance then became $4503.95 with our monthly payment now raised to $401 per month x 18 months because of the exchange. For a price difference of $900 - $200 cash = $700, the monthly payment came up to a whooping $401 a month from $243/month from the original transaction. That is a total of $7,218 from the $4374 from the original transaction on 9/5/22. With that is a $2,844 increase just because of a $700 price difference!!

PART TWO OF M.L.'s review: (since Yelp only allows limited characters.) Now that he became upset with what happened being thrown back and forth between two companies, he called Daniel's customer service and filed a complaint about the return not being accepted and of the unnecessary charge of Sel and Del Registry charge added to the exchange transaction for the rings. So in the afternoon, my husband again went back to the Daniel's store and told them what Uown told him on the phone. During this time time, Marijoy took the necklace. Please see "reprinted necklace receipt" attached dated 9/16/22--3:14 pm. Still upset because of all the distrust from what happened, he went back to the store on 9/18/22 to get a detailed explanation of the sky rocketing monthly rate from the exchange. He was then issued another reprinted receipt and now the monthly payment became $401/month again!!!! See last revised receipt dated 9/18/22 --3:15 pm. How can we now trust this company from all the unnecessary charges, constant price changes, sky rise change of percentage rates from a $700 difference and refusal of returns within a 10 day return policy???? On Monday, September 19, (my birthday) I accompanied my husband to the store to question them about everything. We looked for Marijoy and Mina who were there. I told them I will be recording our conversation for our records as advised by our lawyer who already reviewed the receipts prior to us going back to the store. On the recording they said it was okay for me to do so and they did not stop me from recording our conversation. I told them that we were upset about what happened and would like to return all the merchandise involved, mainly because of the distrust with the company workers and what they did. Also on the said recording, they mentioned that they were really never going to accept the return. I reminded them of the 10 day return policy on the receipt that they did not honor. They still proceeded not to take the merchandise back and to just call customer service. We already called customer service and we were told each Daniel's store has a different store policy. I then asked for the real manager which my husband said it was Mina. (Which Marijoy told him Mina was the manager during the day of 9/16/22 when he first tried to return his necklace). Now on this day, 9/19/22, Mina in front of everyone said she is just the assistant manager and that Marijoy is the real manager of the store. HOW MANY LIES WILL THEY TELL US? Marijoy was then quiet and looking guilty for lying that she was not the manager the day my husband tried to return his necklace and for saying that her manager (referring to Mina) will get mad at her if he returned the item. On the recording, Marijoy also explained that because my husband's credit was not enough, and that the Uown account only approved $2750, she placed and added a Sel and Del registry charge on the ring exchange transaction. This explanation of hers is also included in the recording attached. Why will she add that charge to the ring transaction??? That must be one of the reasons why the monthly charge skyrocketed to $401/month for the ring exchange!!! At the end of all this, they refused to take everything back. She said until she gets a call from customer service, it is only then she will run the return. These things and Marijoy's rudeness and verbal disrespect to a customer are all recorded on the recording file attached to our email for corporate store reviews. Now, is there anyone in this company who really cares? Is there someone who can assist us with all this before we decide to take it into legal matters? Can Daniel's Jewelers iron this out or should we just go ahead and legally file for our complaint in court??? All we need is for Daniel's to accept all these as returns.

In December 2021 I went in to purchase a engagement ring at the Camarillo outlet location for myself to get married I spoke with the manager and she assisted me I don’t have any credit or good credit and she went ahead and found a way for me to be approved for a ring and then when I head in approved me for a bear insurance on the ring through Daniels jewelry itself I’m completely disappointed because I went into return the item after 10 days and was not able to or the only option was to exchange it which I did not want to do because I didn’t want the item the manager that help me I feel took advantage of my ignorance in terms of jewelry purchasing and somehow approved credit when my credit is not good enough to be approved now I have these payments I do not want to make I called corporate and they said I have to speak with the manager I’m very disappointed and I have financially been setback and now it is affecting my credit because they were unwilling to work with me in terms of taking back the item and canceling my insurance with their company I will never go back there and I’m filing a claim I feel like I was taken advantage of 100% just so they can make a sale . The managers name is maribel or joy. And she did not give me complete information in regards to what I was signing up for

STAY AWAY!!! STORE ALERT!!! If I can give less of a star, I would. Husband bought a ring for me. Quality of material was not up to par from a good jeweler's standard. They offered an exchange and after the exchange of ring, the new receipt now says FINAL SALE without verbally informing us of so. Moreover, there was an extra charge of $999 on the receipt that the salesperson MARIJOY AND coassociate MINA can't explain what it was for when my husband asked them. They then took out the UNNECESSARY $999 charge but our monthly payment was still only $20 less! Then they said they couldnt take it back anymore. This is something that small claims court can fix. I don't mind. We have lawyers in the family who can sort this through for us if these people dont take their merchandize back. Never again, DANIEL's JEWELERS CAMARILLO!!!!

Buyer Beware!! Do not make the same mistake I made by doing business with this company. I purchased a couple of pieces from Daniels. I had my jeweler do an inspection of everything for insurance purposes. I was advised to get out of the contract immediately. Their merchandise is cheap,poor quality, cloudy diamonds & everything was gold plated. It wasn't even real gold!!!!!! I returned everything, but the nightmare continues with this Fraud of a company. They still attempt to charge my credit card, they call me 2-3 times a week to collect a payment on a debt I don't have. They're horribly rude & argumentative. I have submitted the letter of termination to them over 20 times!! The letter confirms the contract has been voided. I went back to the Camarillo location & spoke to the Customer service representative Joy. I gave her copies of all the information & the following day, I received ANOTHER PHONE CALL DEMANDING PAYMENT!! The harassment continues. Its been an absolute nightmare dealing with them. Do not make the same mistake I did. Go to a reputable jewelry store that offers the highest quality of merchandise & customer service.
