They don't honor appointments and will still take walk-ins during your pre-scheduled appointment time, making you wait up to an hour, so, that right there makes this a pass. Also, their "Venmo" payments don't work. It's their way of saying they only want cash, so they just act like they aren't sure why it's not working. So second reason to pass. There are other salons that don't have these problems that are better suited to their clients needs.

Love the vibe in this place. I wasn't sure about the take over of new people but it's all good! Kind sweet ladies who were funny and easy to relax and enjoy my pedicure!

The place looks better inside. The guy who did my nails (George) did such a terrible job. He ruined my nails. Mind you I normally would go in for a manicure and buffing no police. I like natural short nails. I had called for an appointment and told them I wanted to get my nails done for my daughter’s wedding and wanted someone good. I got George. First he took an drummer tool and sanded down my nautical nail so thin. They were rough and then he put polish on. He ruined my nails! Polish was so thick and clumpy. He went through motions but not sure he was very skilled. I have never had anyone sand down my nails to nothing. I will now have to wait for them to grow out. They want to easily tear now. I have seen them use that tool on acrylics but, not on clean natural nails. I had to go home and redo my nail polish for the wedding, on my own. If you look closely at the picture you can see my now uneven thickness of my nails
Will not go back!

I have been coming to this salon for 16+ years. My last visit is my last time going - I didn't know about the change in ownership but I should have by not seeing a familiar face. Tyler did my nails two times - the first time the gel came off of two fingers and I had to go in to have them repaired (I'm a single working mom and do not have extr time for this) I should have known better before booking another appointment however I was desperate bc I had an event last minute. Anyway I was very tired and not paying much attention when I looked over and Tyler had CUT 4 of my nails on one hand - I had worked so hard to grow out my natural nails and he just cut them off!!!! I did not ask for him to cut them only to trim a little - he cut to the skin! His reasoning was because I said I wanted an almond shape and that he needed to add a fake tip for that... EXCUSE me I have never had an issue getting the shape I want before - ever. I told him I did not want tips that I don't like tips because they break off... things got very uncomfortable. I eventually was so sad that I allowed him to do the tips in an effort for them to look better. Just two days later they broke off - and three days later two more broke off (while changing a load of laundry!!!) Now I have had half broken nails for a week and a half because I don't have time to go and sit for an hour to fix them. Horrible experience and I won't be going back. Note** The salon and work stations look and feel unclean and dirty. It is gross.

This salon unjustly fired the best nail person in the salon. Julie is at Paseo Nail Salon on Verdugo near Roxy theater. Julie is five stars

Apparently there is a new owner. The service was terrible. Nobody acknowledged I was there waiting for my appointment, the man who got my tub ready for my pedicure scalded my feet, and was rude when I told him it was too hot. My "pedicure" was to include a massage on my feet and calves which he invested about 30 seconds on each leg. My toes do not look good. Very disappointing! I will follow Julie who was fired by the new owner, over to Paseo Nails and tell all of my lady friends to avoid Creative nails.

I used to love this salon. Recently it was sold and most of the nail technicians left After speaking with several of my neighbors my next appointment will be my last one at this salon. I don't like the very loud talking done by the owner and nail techs. It is not relaxing at all. It has become very stressful.

I went to get a pedicure & didn't know I was going to end up with short painful nails tech cut my nails so short when I said I only wanted a trim. Not to cut she was on phone while doing my nails also she said my nails were to wide and said I had ingrown toe nails. And cut all around. I told her no one has ever told me that before I've been getting pedicures for over 20 years. She has her tools on top of a towel don't know if they were cleaned or not. Now my toes hurt are red and swollen on sides. Tech name was Jenny. I don't think they sanitize anything I got referred there. And will never return so unprofessional & Jenny didn't listen to anything I said

As of the begging of August 2022 the salon is under new ownership. I received a call at 10am the morning of my appointment that was at 1pm to advise me that Tuan had sold the company and that he and Ivy were no longer there and that the lady that purchased the salon was not there to do my nails for an appointment. Come to find out half of the salon left! After having to reschedule - which was an inconvenience, I saw Sandy the new owner the following week. When she looked at my nails and said - "oh you have long nails, you should go to Oxnard". I proceeded to let her do my nails. My cuticles have never been so abused by the drill in the 30 something years that I've been getting my nails done. The entire time during my appointment she kept telling me that to get long nails done the correct way that I need to go to Oxnard and that she doesn't do design or diamond and that she won't be hiring anyone to do that type of work. Less than a week later, my nails started lifting. Needless to say I will not be going back to Sandy.
