This was Enzo’s first visit to a vet since joining our family.
Dr. Chong made his first experience (puppy wellness) a very positive and pleasant experience at Camarillo Veterinary Hospital. He took an immediate liking to her as she is a very compassionate and caring vet.

I have had the honor to have Dr. Chong as my family veterinarian since the beginning of her practice.
I have had her be the watchful eye over my dog, Maddi, our cat, Tigger, may they both rest in peace and still cares for our fur babies, Lulu and Big Boy Bubba, plus my grandkitty Dante. I always leave at peace because I know she always has the best interest for my pets! She is a wonderful doctor.

First of all this review is strictly about the receptionist and has nothing to do with the doctors. Two years ago when I got a new puppy I chose this animal clinic based on all the good reviews. When I called to schedule an appointment the receptionist was not very personable and somewhat rude. She made me feel uncomfortable about bringing my pet there so I canceled and took him elsewhere.
Fast forward two years… I have a new puppy and hoping the previous receptionist was just having a bad day, I decided I give it another try. I called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist who answered was just as bad, if not worse. When she answered she just said “Camarillo Animal Hospital”. No name, no greeting, no how can I help you. When I asked to schedule an appt. She kept saying “hold on” (twice) and putting me on hold without asking me if I mind being put on hold for a moment. After I finally got an appt. I said “thank you for your help. Her response was “mm hm” and then she hung up. The unprofessional attitude left a bad taste in my mouth. You would think the front staff would be trained with some kindness. They are the frontline of the business and can make it or break it. I can’t say anything about the doctors because I never made it past this point. Needless to say, I will not be trying a third time. I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I feel welcome

I am very pleased that CVH was able to find a simple solution for Lacey’s loose stoll problem. We will be bringing both of our dogs to CVH in the future.

We have been longtime customers of Camarillo Veterinary Hospital over the years with both dogs and cats. This is a very cozy space that includes a comforting doctor and staff to your beloved fur-babies. Our cats actually love going to see the doc!

Dr.Chong & staff are the Best! I've been taking my dogs there for about 16 yrs they care for my dogs & myself like family.it maybe out of my way to get there but we'll worth it. I wouldn't take them anywhere

I feel very fortunate to have my 19 yr old Snoopy be seen by Dr Chen recently. It seems he has large tumor near his throat. Dr was so compassionate and we all know the day is coming for my luv cat Snoopy to go to heaven. She invited me to come back to lay him to rest when it's time. For now I will make him very comfortable and love him all I can. Thank you so much to all staff at Camarillo Vet, Rachel for always fitting me in per appt,
There is no better place I could ever imagine to take my pets, the awesome care and thoughtfulness, I really appreciate that Dr did not insist on any meds, he hates them, and gets mad at me lol Respectfully, Terry
