Book Stores in Camarillo, CA

4 locations found near Camarillo

“I moved here recently and found this to be a cool little spot that has a wide selection of books. If they don't have what you are looking for they will order it for you (i've had to have them do this for me and they didn't charge any extra). The Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about what's in the store. But what I feel like what really matters is, yes you can order the same books online, or drive to Barns & Noble, but why? This small business book store has competitive prices and you are supporting the local area.”

“This is one of my best finds of the year and has easily become my favorite used book store of all time. It's located adjacent to the Camarillo Public Library and the library cafe. There is such a huge variety of books to choose from, my go-to's are the thriller/suspense and self-help sections. They also have children's, cooking, young adult, and history sections and even CDs and puzzles! I always find such great books for a steal ranging from $1-$5. Folks are always dropping off donations daily so you'll definitely find something and if not, check again in a week. They only take cash or checks but can place books on hold for a week, if you're like me and often forget to keep cash with you. I would also recommend bringing a bag or tote to carry out all your new goodies if you're an avid reader.I just want to say a huge thank you to the amazing staff and volunteers that work so hard to sort through the donations and keep the shelves rotating and full.- JB*HOT TIP: don't skip past the cart outside, these books are heavily discounted.”

“Came here to pick up a textbook I ordered online it's amazing how the bookstore on campus since Covid, have safer options for ordering your items online and just picking them up in store I don't want to pay shipping prices plus I live on campus so it just makes sense just to walk the extra 10 minutes to the store and back to my housing.”
