From the beginning to the end, my experience with Alex Movers was nothing short of exceptional. As I prepared to move the equivalent of a one-bedroom condo, I couldn't help but feel a bit anxious about the safety for some of my exquisite furniture. But the team at Alex Movers put my worries to rest.Right from the estimation stage, Jerry worked tirelessly to accommodate my narrow window of availability due to a family health issue. His dedication and proactive approach ensured that I felt cared for every step of the way. The moving team displayed meticulous attention to detail, carefully cataloging each item and wrapping the delicate furniture in clean, padded blankets – some even receiving an extra layer of protection. As the team loaded the truck, I held my breath, praying for a smooth transition.Throughout the journey, Jazmin from Alex Movers remained a constant source of support. She promptly responded to my every call and message, providing updates on estimated times and truck locations. Arle, the skilled driver, further reinforced their commitment to exceptional service. Two days prior to the delivery, he reached out to inform me of the precise date and time of arrival. He also called again the day before and on the morning of delivery, ensuring I was in the loop every step of the way.In the end, my worries were unfounded. Not a single scratch marred any of my furniture as it was delicately unloaded from the truck. And not a dented or damaged box. Alex Movers' dedication, professionalism, and attention to customer service were truly second to none. This move stands as a testament to their commitment to excellence – a move that exceeded my expectations and left me thoroughly impressed.

I'm writing this four years after I moved from Ventura to Wyoming in 2019 via Alex Moving & Storage. I had no problems of any kind with the company. The movers did a great job. Jerry was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Two sides to every story, I guess.

The team was amazing. Very fast, thorough, respectful, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.Reasonably priced, too. I would hire them again. No damage to any of my belongings and nothing was missing in transit.

Driver David was excellent. DO NOT trust Jerry the estimator. He will tell you whatever to get the contract sign. I showed him a laser engraving machine I had. Showed the crating material for it and ensured me it would be loaded onto the truck without the need of a forklift. When the loaders arrived they told me I had to rent the forklift. At the tune of an additional $1,200 Alex moving and Storage would not compensate additional fee I incurred even though Jerry stated it would not be needed. So after paying over $30,000, I had the additional fee of $1,200. Communication with the office, Yumma, was unprofessional. Stated she would call me back and after a week, no return call. Spoke to Jasmine who stated she would call back that afternoon, no return call.Should have gone with the lesser company that told me they would have a forklift at the load and unload. Sad thing is I told Jerry this and he again ensured me a forklift was not needed.Needless to say, we did have some damaged property so now filing that claim. Can't say I am confident in that process but will see.

My neighbors are using this moving service. The truck driver is parked in a place where he is blocking a fire lane, a major walkway, handicap access to the side walk and elevator. I tried to ask them to move there truck so it wouldnt block residents and they stated it would take too much of their time. Dont use this service unless you want to piss off your nieghbors.

Lost boxes, broken items, incomplete move. They took two weeks to uncrate fragile items and left a mess of broken wood with nails and splinters in the garage, all material they were supposed to haul away - this has been a terrible experience. They were incredibly diligent in charging me for the move, but extremely difficult to get ahold of since. Look elsewhere and spare yourself the pain.

This company is the worst. We moved to Texas and our stuff was supposed to be here on Friday or Saturday. We received an email stating that the company would arrive Monday or Tuesday. They actually arrived on Monday but they had no tools to put our stuff together. Also, the day after when I was unpacking I realized I was missing stuff which ended up being 35 boxes. It took another month to get the remainder of our 35 boxes, vacuum cleaner, weights, and other items. I would not recommend them to anyone because the Customer service is horrible. Never did they ever call me back or try to get my furniture to me earlier. They are affiliated with North American Van lines. Which I would not refer to anyone either.

We never had anything to worry about. Before the move, at pick up, en route, and at delivery everything was so smooth. Speedy, thorough, transparent...both crews were great. Highly recommend!!!

Prior to hiring, sales pitch was - this is the delivery window, but I’m very confident that the delivery will Occur in the early part of the window, not towards the end of the window. I realize this is not guaranteed…but why even say it? Not why I’m disappointed with the experience…Truck arrived. Not big enough. Had a second one come out. Then went to warehouse to move everything off truck and pack truck better. It then stayed in the warehouse for days without moving (not discussed or part of our agreement). We had to call And follow up each time for updates. Received an excuse about a truck burning down that caused our move to be delayed. Always an excuse in my book. this still shouldn’t effect our experience especially at the rate we are paying. Truck made it to our home almost at the end of the window. If the truck didn’t just sit in a warehouse, it would have arrived much earlier. By the way, it went to another city in Ca After sitting in warehouse and sat another couple days. How do we know this? Because we tracked our items.Lastly, due to the above issues, some of our items were not on the truck. We had some damaged pieces. SomeItems like tables weren’t installed or put back together correctly. Missing lamp, vacuum, received other peoples items, still waiting on a “fix” to my missing items.Movers hired here by company were great except for one person. Rushed everything. attitude. Didn’t want to help or go a step further to make the experience better.

Driver was great and estimating process was easy a d professional. Dispatch was unreliable and changed packing/loading date several times with poor communication, and gave the driver the wrong address.

This is by far the WORST storage and moving company ever!!! Disgusting people! I was dealing with Mr. Jerry Durham, it's impossible to get this guy on the phone. They tried moving my stuff and before I signed the contract I read it fully and these people are running a scam. Very dishonest, I would never recommend them to anyone else. I always read the fine print, and when I called them out on everything I was hung up on and couldn't reach them anymore. I can tell by the reviews they are scammers, DO NOT use them for your moving needs. I'm not even sure how these people are still in business. I will be reporting them.
