The worst experience when cancelling my deceased fathers policy. Was given the run around and had to argue back and forth with the secretary. Aarron kept telling his secretary to push the company policy that does not allow them to cancel a policy for a deceased person. I called over 5 other companies to cancel accounts including a life insurance company and they were all sincere with their condolences and cancelled accounts within a couple mins. This office argued with me for over 10 mins until i gave them the option to send an email with the death certificate and the secretaries answer was well you can try to send it. I told her why she didnt give me that option from the begining and her answer was "I was about to give you that option". She gave me a website and said to send the email to it and that it would work. I called back and said i cannot send an email to a website so she gave me another email that also did not work. I ended up looking up a phone number to corprate customer service and that representative gave me a sincere condolence and took care of cancelling the policy within a few mins without the need of the death certificate. Im not saying State Farm is a bad company but this location should not be allowed to represent and sell their services. For those seeking try Liberty Mutual, they have been great to my me and my family. Or maybe just another location.
