First, after owning many Miele's I strongly warn against their VERY expensive appliances. It is hard for me to give Universal one star because for many years I felt well taken care of as a customer. Somehow, because I never had a problem before I suppose, it was always easy-- great appliances, on time delivery-- However I have just had a recent experience which has obliterated my goodwill toward this company. After buying Wolf, Sub-Zeros, Kitchen Aid... the listen goes on... even Miele-- I recently purchased a Miele washing machine machine and dryer-- they quickly delivered and installed it; they ran it to see that it worked. But really, it just turned I on-- it didn't occur to me we should make sure it doesn't just turn on but also runs through all its cycles. It was installed 1/8/24. Today is 2/8/24, and it has yet to work. My husband called Universal immediately and the email response was that they would reach out to Miele (what?-- just take the machine back and give me one that works)--Oh-- they are a wharehouse so once they deliver it's not their issue. I am currently dealing with Miele directly and they have done nothing so far as well. I will add that I purchased a new Miele dishwasher from Universal last year when I remodeled my kitchen... guess what... after 6 months of that machine not working I finally got Miele to replace it. I'm exhausted and have a lot of dirty clothes AND am out $5,813.00..... NOT HAPPY-- a lot to pay to get a non-working appliance that no-one is moving with any urgency on. . One star... looking for a new store.

We had the most wonderful experience with Oscar! We needed a very specific item (a Fulgor-Milano induction oven), and he was knowledgeable, responsive and very easy to deal with. We received it in a timely manner (faster than any other appliance store could manage) and were very happy with the promotion that Oscar honored. I would recommend him and Universal Appliance to anyone looking for an appliance. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

My wife and I were looking for a new kitchen refrigerator. We previously purchased a washer and dryer from there about 4 years ago. I strongly recommend that you contact our salesperson MD Rayhan. He was both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure that we consider at all of our options prior to making a selection. He was aware that as our present refrigerator was not operating, and that we we needed the new as soon as possible. He really went above and beyond to ensure that we could get the highly desirable refrigerator as soon as possible. We felt that he was genuinely concerned. He answer all our questions and was generous with his time. He did not make us feel that we were under pressure. We had multiple conversations with him after the purchase, and he was always available. If you are looking for a kitchen appliance, be sure that you contact him.

All started out ok.I needed to replace a bbq that was over twenty years old. I bought the house not knowing that until I learned it was broke and old. The old existing one was a Lynx. Would of been happy to replace with a less expensive brand but was told by salesman that a new one for 8000 dollars was the only one to fit in the existing space. It was guaranteed.Well it arrived and did not fit, called the salesman who turned me over to Jessie D the manager. I stated I did not want it and take it back. He told me that would be 100% restocking fee now making it 16,000 dollars ,with this the installers wanted me to sign for it I refused they left. Come back to bang on my door ring bell all captured on my ring camera next thing I knew Jessie the manager appeared at my door banging and ringing at this point Iwas scared but would not answer door or phone. He then called the sheriff who appeared as a mediator. I was glad to see him.I could go, on they finally had two other installers come out the first two had no clue what they were doing.A small plate needed removed from the back. I called the cooperate office not asking for more than an apology which I still have never received. Please save yourself the aggravation time and money and shop anywhere but. I forget to say that Jessie also blocked my car with his big truck in my driveway. I could not leave if I wanted to.

I purchased a 48 Inch LG refrigerator from high pressure sales person George Tomovich recently. George was very committed to securing my credit card details and getting me to sign his multi -page purchase agreement. He was far less interested in providing the refrigerator by the actual agreed delivery date, which he immediately changed disappeared after I signed his agreement. Several days later the new LG refrigerator finally arrived. I had been informed by George removal of the old appliance and installation of the new replacement was an "unplug and play", straightforward installation, not so fast. High pressure salesman George neglected to bother to forward any of the installation requirements for the new $17,200 LG fridge. The water line and plug had to be moved. Universal's subcontracted installer Action Appliances couldn't, or wouldn't handle moving the water line or plug, so I needed to hire a contractor to do that. No installation today after all, thank you. The modifications were done swiftly, photos of the work were shared with both Universal and their contracted installer, getting them back to deliver and install the refrigerator was a complete disaster. Installer Action Appliances seems even less focused on customer service than Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center. They failed to show up for their appointments, or to answer their phones, or reply to texts. Canceled transaction due to failure to deliver and install appliance. Horrible experience from start to finish.

Had a nice experience buying a new Viking stove. Plus a new dishwasher came with it for free. Oscar was very attentive and helped walk me through the whole process smoothly. I am very happy with my purchase.

I find it interesting that the owner of this company is responding to this now. Let's not get this twisted people. My original review still stands as my experience working with Igor's company, for the majority of my interactions with them, remain the same. However, AFTER my negative review a lovely employee, apparently a new manager, did go above and beyond to get a refrigerator door handle returned for me. As I stated in my original review, multiple calls didn't result in any help in any way, but a bad review here seems to do the trick. As to this part of Igor's response "It took the showroom manager quite some time to get a response from you, to allow him to even understand and resolve your issue. According to his accounting of the facts, you were either out of town or unresponsive to his inquiries to resolve this." This is HYSTERICAL! Are you kidding me? I dealt with you people close to a year and YOU'RE frustrated because I don't jump at returning your emails to do something you should have done already!? Last time I checked, you didn't hire me or buy goods or services from me. That is basically the definition of gaslighting sir. In addition, once the handle was returned, I was then emailed a couple of times asking that I take down my original review. Um...No. Maybe if the team at Universal had been even a fraction as dilligent in communication and customer service as this new manager seems to be trying to be, I wouldn't have written a bad review in the first place. Also, I might have considered following up on my review until this gaslighting owner showed up here. Why not reach out to me directly Igor, God knows your team has my number. Good luck with your business model.

I bought a Smeg fridge from Universal and couldn't be happier! Oscar was so helpful in getting me my fridge sooner than a competitor. He was so nice and very communicative and made sure I was aware of the status of my delivery every step of the way. And the delivery was A+! I was so worried it would get damaged because my stairs are narrow and they had to unbox it in order for it to fit. The delivery guys took great care and didn't put a scratch on it! I will certainly go back when it's time to replace my stove! FYI - if you are looking for Smeg appliances, not many places sell them so don't hesitate to stop in and talk to Oscar! I just love my fridge!

We love this place and especially love the help we’ve gotten from Darren and Jesse!!! We were able to get hard-to-find pieces, and although they had to be custom ordered, we knew well ahead of time how long each would take to come in. On top of that, we looked up all of the appliances we bought from Universal Appliance, including sinks, a grill, a clothes dryer, clothes styler, refrigerator, kitchen stovetop range, and more,… and each time we found that they gave us a better price than we could find anywhere else online!!!! So that says a lot. That says it all, really. But that’s not even the best part to us. The best part of all, is that the people there help you get what you are wanting and looking for. We have gotten and will continue getting all of the appliances and plumbing fixtures for our new home from Universal Appliances with the help of Darren and Jesse. They have not only found us the best prices, but they have also helped us pick out the type of appliances perfect for us. When I mention something, like the fact that I want unique fixtures and appliances, they come through with different colored sinks for us to choose from, shower fixtures that are now all the thing on the HGTV shows, and even our grill is literally one of the most fun and awesome things in our new home!!! We are very happy with them and would recommend them to friends and family and anyone looking to be happy with new appliances!!!
