“It’s rare these days when you get good service and therefore it needs to be recognized. I rented a truck from this location to do some minor moving of household items. Every step of the process went smoothly, from the reservation to checkout.Although when I brought the truck back the next morning I noticed I had to put more gas in the tank than I thought I had used. It seems you have to check the gas gauge & your contract to verify how much gas you need to bring it back with an equal amount as when you left. That’s normal. But it took 4 gallons and I had only driven 18 miles. Something was not right.So when I checked the truck back in I confronted the first person I came upon with anger. His name is Cory and I started out the conversation pretty aggressively.In a matter of moments, Cory calmly explained to me what likely happened, told me that I wasn’t the first person this happened to, then apologized, and offered a fair reimbursement for the extra expense I incurred.Just like that! Problem solved.If corporate U-Haul is reading this then you need to hire more employees like Cory. He quickly handled an angry customer and diffused the situation with a little reason. He didn’t need to give me a full refund, and I didn’t expect that, just make it right. A few dollars was all it took.Too often people skills and some common sense are overlooked when in the service business. So thank you, Cory.”

“Corey, the business manager, did a great job from start to finish on informing/recommending the right trailer hitch setup for our Ford Escape, which is def not a workhorse. He allowed us to drop off the car early and they finished before the pickup time he gave us which was perfect! Corey made sure our set-up worked on a trailer before we were told to pick it up -- and then was pleasant and agreeable when my husband requested it be connected to a trailer (a second time) so he could see & confirm everything was good to go in person. Perfect service. Organized yard and store. A+++++ all the way!”

“I wish I had come here before dealing with the location on 8740 Baird Ave. At the time, that dealer had one 5 star review, and this dealer had no reviews at all. Unfortunately, I called the former because we all judge books by their cover. I will do the Yelp community a favor and change that. After dealing with the headache and frustration of the prior U-Haul dealer, I was directed to this location to rent a U-Haul pick-up truck (This dealer is a gated storage unit/ U-Haul pick-up drop-off location so call before coming). Fast, friendly, and convenient service! What more can you ask for when we are all busy and need to get places without all the headaches. I believe the name of the woman at the front desk who helped me is Cathy. She has a great sense of humor and a pleasure to work with!”

“AMAZING customer service for my first time using U-Box! The general manager was so kind and helped me check in at 9am to hook up the trailer to our truck. There were a ton of customers on a Saturday morning but he was so patient and made us feel valued. We came back around 1pm to drop off the U-Box and he disconnected it for us. Very smooth process and can’t wait to see our belongings at our destination!”

“I knew this place because I always pass it on the way to work. I always see that they have a lot of rental truck on the parking lot. When it was time for me to move, I came to this place to rent a U-haul. Little did I know that you need to do a reservation. Jeez. I learned my lesson. So I have to scramble and check out other places. This U-Haul rent dolly and storage as well. They sell boxes, tapes, and pad locks. Owner is nice as well as the employees. They give out informations on other U- haul locations. If you need help with moving your stuff, there are people milling on the street that you can pay hourly or by contract.”
