I am an athlete, and I sweat a lot. Before going to Thursdays, I went to many different places, and I needed help to get my unit to stick. Thursdays was a lifesaver. My hair hasn’t become loose anymore, and now I can run with confidence. I am sticking around with Thursdays. Thank you, guys; you rock!

I can tell you my life was changing. My looks were dripping due to my hair. My hair was getting so thin and so it made me feel sad and it made me look old. After I met the incredible people of Thursdays my life changed! I have been a client since 2016 and I am still obsessed and couldn’t possibly live without them and the wonders they do for my hair. I feel lucky to have found them. They spoil me and treat me like a king!!!!! I am so grateful to them for how they make me look. There’s no feeling like it when I leave after my session. I am so peculiar about places I allow people to touch me. This place is beyond when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene. I love love love Thursdays !

family friend got his hair done here and it looked terrible. he had been with a private stylist for years, and decided to try something different. Sadly and needless to say, he hated it and everyone agreed it looked awful. he also complained that the glue they used burned his scalp and he now has red boils on his head, a large price to pay for trusting his gut. avoid this place at all costs. not worth it. also he explained this whole story about being inside and hearing the owners screaming at each other. violent environment to be in it seems. avoid at all costs.

Super unhappy, My husband purchased a Spa365 Gift card as this location is close to where we live. He confirmed that they take the card before purchase. Guess what... they now don't take the card and "should have been removed from the website" so it's not their problem. I now have a gift card and nowhere remotely close to use it and I'm really disappointed as I had been looking forward to having the opportunity to use the spa package. It looks like they really only cater to those with hair needs/issues!

Short review: I've searched everywhere, this place is the single best solution for hair loss without surgery. Personal and tuned-in staff, with a lot of experience, using absolutely top-quality products. If you haven't done your research you'll think it's expensive, but if you have done your research you'll know the prices are competitive and well worth the quality and care. Long review: This will be a longer, story-like review for those of you who want the deep details before committing to a hair loss solution. During the pandemic, my hair loss accelerated and suddenly, while zooming I realized I was essentially "bald". I researched every option from surgery to natural remedies, to stem cells. I wanted hair like Elon Musk or Matthew McConaughey. Not wanting to do surgery, I surrendered to the idea of a toupee, discovering they are now called Hair Systems. I found a place called Edward Katz Hair Design, I had a talk with Ed. His system is very specific, you can't get it wet, you have to have two so they can be servicing one while you wear the other and I felt a "my way or the highway" vibe that doesn't sit well with my generation. (Also swimming is my thing, so I needed a system that can handle water and sweat) BUT in reading reviews for Ed Katz, I found a place called MD Hair Design. I booked an appointment, met with Myra, she had an affordable option and we moved forward. Her studio is VERY dark, and I felt like she wasn't listening to me when I talked about how I wanted the hairline to sit. She's good at what she does, but I wanted more customization than she could offer. Her communication wasn't very clear either. And once I left her shop and stepped into the sunlight, I realize MY HAIR WAS THE WRONG COLOR. It didn't match my hair, and the thickness and hairline looked unnatural on me. I started cleaning and servicing the hairpiece myself, it's annoying, and time-consuming, and MESSY! So many chemicals, so much learning curve. I had to color the hair myself. It was not good-- I went back to the drawing board, looking for any review I could find on men's hair loss, male pattern baldness, non-surgical hair replacement, hair restoration, baldness cure. You name it. FINALLY! I stumbled across an article about THURSDAYS, a salon in Calabasas with great reviews. Let me tell you, the great reviews don't do this place justice. They rescued me from a bad hair situation. I had a meeting with Jill, the owner, she has the energy of a tech start-up entrepreneur. She listens very well, she offers up suggestions and solutions, and she was honest and straightforward about pricing. Thank God! What I thought was just going to be a consultation, turned into "Would you like us to service and clean the current hairpiece you are wearing while we make you a custom piece?" YES! They took a cast of my head to create a custom unit that would fit perfectly, while servicing, cleaning, and re-coloring my other hairpiece. They took samples of my hair to match my hair color, and when they brought back my ragged old hairpiece, it had been cleaned to perfection, colored to match my hair exactly, and when Jessica put it back on my head, she aligned my hairline perfectly. I thought "If they can make this old piece look and feel this good, their custom work must be fantastic. I had one additional service appointment with Heidi, who was also excellent and got me looking great before a work trip. A few weeks later my custom piece was ready, we had a ceremony to throw away my old hair system, and Jill put my new system on and cut it to style... I felt like a different person. I felt like myself again. The person I hadn't felt like since I started losing my hair seven years ago. My Thursday's "in house custom" unit fits perfectly, matches perfectly, I never have to clean it, I just go in for an appointment, they clean the unit, prep my scalp, and I'm out the door in less time than it would take for me to even find the cleaning s

Thursday's has been God sent! I have done everything from weaves to wafts, you name it since 1984. No other hair replacement comes even close to what Jill and her staff offer. Not only incrediblely sensitive to your feelings and needs Thursdays is professional and discreet. I give it my highest recommendation. Would recommend to anyone and everyone! Virtually flawless and undetectable. Thursday's will change your life. You will have the hair you always dreamed of! Grateful, Roberta V.

What can I say? Other than that Jill, her team, and Thursday's has single-handedly changed my life and self-esteem. I went from always using hair extensions and having the thinnest hair, and trying many different laser and topical treatments. I even spent thousands with a naturopathic Doctor to make sure my thyroid and hormones were perfectly balanced. To no avail nothing worked... but then I finally made a decision to get a hair replacement unit. I felt very at ease with Jill during my first consultation, and she did a terrific job ordering the right hair density and color for me. Fast forward to now, I have beautiful long hair with bangs, and you can see my scalp line! The hair quality is absolutely gorgeous. I WEAR MY HAIR DOWN EVERY SINGLE DAY. And I get so many compliments on it regularly. I can't thank Jill, Jessica, and Thursday's enough!

I am writing to tell you that I am sooo happy with my hair loss solution, and with the superb service I have received from Thursdays for the past four years. The Problem: By age 60, I was nearly bald, at least on the top. I tried on a lot of wigs, but they were hot, and they all looked fake. I also didn't want to have to fuss with my hair. (I don't even like to wear make-up!) The Answer: After searching the internet, I found Thursdays. Now I wear a human hair "unit" that stays on all the time. It's like a cap (or a yarmulke), so its not too hot. I sleep in it, shower in it, shampoo it, and can even swim in it. Once a month, I come into Thursdays, and my girl, Desi (or sometimes Heidi) removes it, deep cleans and conditions it, and reattaches it to my freshly washed head with clips and adhesive. (And styles it very cute, of course!) It looks so natural, even hairdressers are surprised to learn that it isn't my own hair! The Business: In my first consultation, Jill, the owner, explained my options and how they take care of their customers, even in an emergency. I know that Jill will leave no stone unturned to keep me looking my professional best.

Jill is one of the knowledgeable and professional people I know, she truly care about every client I love going there, my daughter refuses to go anywhere else but to Sara so we have an appointment at least every month.and we won't replace Thursday's for any other place.

This place is such an amazing find for people suffering hair loss. I tried other places but I felt uneasy about their products until I found Thursdays. They have high quality pieces that look really natural! Jill, the owner is such a kind empathetic person. She really does listen to you and give you a wide variety of treatments and solutions for hair loss sufferers. I've been going here for years (even though I live so far away) and it's totally worth it. They're always reliable and consistent. They also do massages and facials! I would definitely recommend this place, and I have to thoroughly express my gratitude to Jill for everything she does for her clients and myself.

Super disappointed I went in for a body scrub and it was only a little over 30 min . She applied the scrub took less then 5 min then I laid in a cold closed bed until it started to steam 7 min later then she rinsed me off and that was it for $75 dollars no little Massage no deep scrub it was so not worth it. Super bummed this was my treat to my self and it was awful. It's also in a work office space which is awkward already . Ehh not cool

Do not come to this salon. The prices are incredibly high - upwards of $4,000 for one unit!! Its been months since my experience here and I've gone back and forth between writing a review but I feel so strongly about this place I finally made an account just to tell people to avoid Thursday's. Jill (the owner) is an AWFUL woman. Doesn't know a single thing about "her" business (it's very clearly run by the stylists and Steve), is rude, pushy, and loud. The front desk has a jar of candy on it, and the woman in line in front of me took a few while checking out. When the woman turned to leave, I heard Jill say to the receptionist up at the front that "the fat ones always take that candy" and then laugh. I couldn't believe it. Jill is highly immoral and very clearly preying on people who feel insecure about the way the look. She has no sympathy for her clients or the things they've gone through which is clear in how much she upcharges them and clear through the way I heard her speak about a paying client!!! I can't imagine the way she talks about clients behind closed doors if she feels bold enough to say something like that at the front desk with clients in the room. STAY FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY. YOUR MONEY IS BETTER SPENT ANYWHERE ELSE.

If you want to pay more than 100 times what you can pay elsewhere, be "schmoozed", ripped off and lied to by an owner who knows very little about hair systems... except how to instruct you in care that will make them fall apart FAR sooner than they should so she can bilk you for more money... then I suggest you go here. They are all sweet when they're trying to sell you and while they think they're ripping you off. Really! $4000 for a piece I could have purchased for $400 elsewhere. I actually "splurged" at another place and got the much higher quality one as she sold me the lowest quality made, it felt like I was wearing a helmet and it made me sweat like a pig. My new one is very comfortable and doesn't cause me to sweat unless it's REALLY hot outside. I couldn't even go into air conditioned stores with Thursday's hair helmet. Waiting in line or shopping sweat would literally pour down my forehead and neck. People would stare while I was dying of heat exhaustion. I paid only $500 at this other place and it has lasted me over 6 months. Her's lasted only 2 months, blamed me for care when I later found out it was due to the care she TOLD ME TO DO. Use a vent brush, pull it hard, wash the hair every single day, blow dry as normal... these things RUIN hair systems. She also bilks you for repeat visits. Another thing... she makes them too big for you, so not only does it cost more but she then shaves your head when she puts it on. This is so when your hair grows in, it pushes the piece up so you must go in for her to fix it. She doesn't disclose this until you go in to have it put on... after the 3 month wait. This is Jill Sugar with no spice. Stay away. Feel free to message me for the website of this other company I now use if interested. You should at least take advantage of all the helpful information they post online, no payment needed for that! Plus even if you decide to try them, there's no risk, they return everything you paid no questions asked if you return your system within 30 days of getting it. It's VERY easy, not expensive comparatively. They'll help you with EVERYTHING.... fitting, cut, styling, payment plans, etc. I have been using them for two years now. Hundreds of videos on care to make it last longer.... ALL OF THEM REFUTE the "Jill Sugar Methods of Hair System Care". She charged me $8K for 2. When the first fell apart in 2.5 months, she said I was not allowed to have the 2nd one yet... I had to have the old one "Filled" at $700... PLUS $250 for it to be put on, cut and styled!! I can buy two new ones for that at hair direct. I have the top of the line full lace.... lasts me about 6 months. On their instructions for making them last: CONDITION every day, do NOT wash every day, minimize or avoid blow drying and NEVER use a vent brush,... treat it gently and use a no tangle brush. Stay away from Thursday's for hair systems. I forgot to mention how many compliments I get on my hair. Everyone compliments me on my hairstyle and cut... they think it's genuine, no idea it's a glued on system. It's 100% human hair of highest quality. I know how hard it is to deal with all of this when it happens to you... I spent a year visiting dermatologists, getting needles in my head, taking dangerous experimental drugs.... all trying to get my hair back... loss of it was destroying my confidence, self-esteem and more. I feel GREAT now that I found a solution that finally works. I hope my words will help you to feel great again, too!
