It's now November 25th and still no word from Luxe.Even tiny companies look at Yelp and try to solve problems. Total silence.I cannot believe someone agreed to buy this company, and then they don't even bother to try to solve problems with existing customers.Especially customers who have PRE-PAID more than $2000 and are being GHOSTED completely. Total fraud and scam. They even have a page for customers to contact them. We filled out the form months ago and never received a response AT ALL.luxervrental.com/past-cu…"Past Customer ConnectionWelcome to our Past Customer Connection page. At Luxe RV, we value the relationships we've built with our past customers, and we're here to stay connected. Whether you have ongoing inquiries, unfinished business, or simply want to reach out to us, we're available to assist you. Do not to entrust your vacation, or your lives, to these folks. My wife and I rented an RV from Luxe RV for our honeymoon in November 2020, anticipating a luxury RV for a once in a lifetime trip. Hah! Here's a partial list of what went wrong:* The tires were bald. A gas station attendant pointed this out to us the day after driving to the Grand Canyon. * The day I picked up the RV from Luxe's lot, a break warning light came on as I drove away. I immediately pulled over and phoned Luxe RV. They explained to me that the break warning light first appears thousands of miles before the breaks become unsafe, and he told me how to turn off the warning light. The explanation sounded plausible, and didn't occur to me that someone at Luxe RV might give me bad advice about something as critical as the vehicle's breaks. Wrong! When we replaced the bald tires, we also discovered that two of the break pads were down to 5%. The other two had 10% left. Given our planned itinerary, through Zion National Park and the Wasatch mountain range, we were extremely fortunate to find this out when we did. * When we contacted Luxe RV to inform them of the bald tires and bad breaks, they showed no concern for our safety. They were unapologetic about the time we had to spend off the road. And they refused to cover the cost of the new tires and break pads. They claimed we had been conned by the local gas station. Even when we brought in AAA to confirm the defects, Luxe RV refused to reimburse us. Rather than allowing it to ruin our honeymoon, we paid for new pads and new tires. We had to spend two nights an RV park in southeast Utah, waiting for new break pads. Shout out to the wonderful people at the New Harmony, Utah, service station. If it weren't for them, God knows what might have happened. * The heating system in the RV didn't work. We found this out the third night of our trip, when the temperature dropped to 17 degrees. * One of the windshield wipers didn't work, either.* The retractable steps stopped retracting. * The meter on the black water tank was unreliable. This is a very bad thing in an RV, by the way.* When we showered, a water line leaked into the main cabin. * One of the kitchen drawers fell apart.* The latch on the fridge door was defective. We learned this when we took a curve on the road in northeast Washington, and heard the sound of a dozen eggs flying across the cabin. Actually, we heard the sound of a dozen eggs splatting... Nearly every day brought a new problem, and RV's customer support was pitiful. Eventually we decided it wasn't safe to drive the last 1000 miles of our journey. We parked the vehicle in a safe lot near Bainbridge Island, and informed Luxe RV they would need to retrieve their vehicle. We then rented an SUV, and piled our baleful German Shepherd and as much of our stuff as possible into it, and drove home in cramped safety. The good news is that we managed to have a loving honeymoon in spite of Luxe RV, but I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we did. I'm writing this review more than two years after the fact. At the time, I just wanted to put the unpleasantness of dealing with Luxe RV behind me. But the thought that by speaking up I might save some other unsuspecting people from a similar experience finally galvanized me to write about it. I hope you heed my warning!

Terrible experience with a substandard product! I agree with CT - if I could give ZERO stars, I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I was looking for a special way to celebrate my wife's 70th and wanted a deluxe RV. What I got was far below the standard of any other RV I have ever rented. There was extensive exterior damage and multiple instances of damage and downright shabbiness on the inside. The RV was delivered many hours late (so much for white glove service), the propane tank was near empty and the water was low due to a design flaw - no real cap on the water tank so it sloshes out when the vehicle is driven. The RV came with no instruction manual and I had to ask twice for one to be sent via email. All slick marketing covering a crappy product.

My group rented an RV from this company back in May. The generator didn't work, the floors flooded with water whenever we turned it on, and it didn't come with any of the linens or add ons that we PAID for. Still NO RESOLUTION and they stopped returning our calls and responding to emails. DO NOT rent from this place. We were left in 100+ degree weather in Vegas without running water or AC.

Wow wow wow. This is my first time ever writing a 1 star review. I really wish I could put ZERO STARS. Reading all of these reviews makes me wish I did a background check on this company prior to booking. They are obviously some money hungry scam artists. Please do yourself a favor and STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this company (Luxe RV). I booked an RV with this company and within 6 hours of booking, I tried to cancel due to a misunderstanding on dates and time. This company RV Luxe still decided they wanted to charge me $2000 due to their "policy." 6 hours? What could you possibly do in less then 6 hours to earn $2000 of your customers money? Being an owner of multiple companies in Hawaii, the business practices of this company is far from acceptable. Please save yourself the hassle, time, and money and go book on outdoorsy. This company will shatter very soon.

When they say "One-way rental anywhere in the US" it's just blatantly untrue. They do not include Florida (or other east cost locations it would seem) in their service area. Really crappy marketing that led to me spending way more time investigating them as an option for my trip than I should have. If they aren't up front about that, what other things are they lying about? Update: They may have told me wrong? Now they are saying I can if I get it delivered? Honestly they are just a hassle at this point.

Do not walk... RUN away from this company! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. They left myself and my friend stranded in Las Vegas at EDC in an RV we paid over $3,000 for with no AC in over 100 degree desert heat. The RV was over 85 degrees inside. We were told by local authorities that it could have cost us our lives. Luxe RV was made aware that our generator did not work within hours of picking up the vehicle, as soon as we parked it at the festival. We called every # they gave us on the booking confirmation to reach someone for help and no one answered. We were told by Vicky at their office that after 5 pm they don't answer phones, but they advertise otherwise. We called at least 20 times over the course of the festival and tried troubleshooting ourselves with no avail. This company knew we were in this situation with no AC, no working fridge or freezer, stove, or microwave. It was HORRIBLE. We lost $200 in groceries. We were faint and weak and could not enjoy the festival that we spent thousands of dollars on to attend with travel, tickets, etc. Included. We were also double charged for fees and they refuse to respond to our emails. They screen my calls. They tell me when they do answer that I will receive a call back and never do. This company needs to be shut down. AVOID WHAT WE EXPERIENCED AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. YOU WILL BE LEFT OUT TO DIE.

HORRIBLE STAY AWAY! The RV we rented was dirty, arrived late and broke down mid-trip. We had to replace the RV battery and were NEVER reimburse for the battery. Big Bear Rental is a MUCH better option.

The generator in the RV that they rented to me was leaking Propane into the main cabin while we were sleeping. Both of us became very ill and could have died. Thankfully someone interrupted our sleep to say goodbye and we noticed the leak. The people at Luxe RV said it was a very common issue like getting a flat tire and they shouldn't be blamed.... that is reassuring. It took us 3 days to feel better. You pick up from a crappy abandoned parking lot. They left me sitting there waiting for 40 minutes while they "crossed the street" The shade was ripped off above the bed so we were woken up at dawn everyday. This was defiantly not a "luxe" situation. The RV shifted while I was in the bathroom and the door to the shower popped open which pressed against the bathroom door and trapped me inside the bathroom. I had to scream for help from a passerby. Everything in the RV seemed to be partially broken and glued back. Their customer service is a joke at best.

Horrible! Sadly, we had really wanted this RV Rental to work out. It started badly and ended even worse. The RV we rented from Luxe RV was supposed to be luxurious. At some point, it might have been but it certainly was not when we received it! Even though it is a relatively new 2020 model it had over 66,000 miles on it! Prior to us renting it, this RV had some obvious and substantial body damage that had never been repaired: the step would not fully open and was a hazard, the main door was bent, the handle to get in and out of the main door had been sheared off, the awning had been damaged, etc. The post for the dining room table was not in the RV. This was reported on Day 1 and was never resolved. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I will NEVER rent from Luxe RV nor recommend them to anyone!

The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Total scam. Nasty RVs and way overpriced. We received the RV completely disgusting and dirty but we are easy and realize it is a heavily used rental. The real problems began day 2 when the water went out and would not work at all. As well as we had to jump start the generator 3 times to get that running because the battery was dead. After we returned we were then charged $2,800+, on top of the insurance of $2500 we pre-paid for, for items we did not break and that were already in disrepair. If I wanted to go through the trouble of getting an attorney this would be the one time in my life I would ever think to sue someone. Please stay away from this one.

Extremely unreliable. I picked up the van in Las Vegas. Did not show up at the specified time. I was supposed to get the Van at 430 PM. The driver showed up late. I could not leave Las Vegas until 6 PM. I had some problem with the Van. Tried to contact the office. The person was not at all helpful and was very rude. The van was supposed to be returned at 5 PM. No body showed up to pick up the van. Tried to contact the office and the driver several times. Was unable to contact anyone, After waiting for three hours, I left the van in one of the Casino parking lot and left. According to them, when they picked up the Van the spare was missing. May be stolen. I am not sure. I am not sure when they picked up the Van. They are asking $1000.00 foe the missing spare. I will never do business with them

Had a fantastic trip.. not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I had a great time and the customer service was very responsive. I'm guessing most people expect it to be brand new absolutely perfect RVs. These are the best RV rentals on the market, but I guess I have some experience as I have rented with Cruise America, El Monte, and others in the past. So I definitely can feel the difference and I am sure most first-timers expect it to be a walk in the park.

We rented from Luxe RV this spring. Although the MB unit got us everywhere there was a large list of poorly maintained items including the back up camera that didn't work, frayed electrical hookup cords, dash A/C that only kicked on over 35mph, water hookup that was impossible to hook up without leaks and as noted by others a lot of duct tape was needed to keep things in place while traveling. Our unit had over 100k miles...that's a lot for a rental and the insides looked like it. Definitely not a high end experience. I'm not one that does reviews but the reason I'm doing this one was not for all the issues above but because they don't stand behind their agreements. The day before we picked up our unit we were called and told the unit we had reserved wasn't available and would we take an alternative? It was a slightly bigger unit which was exactly what the two of us didn't want so I asked for some monetary help. They sent me an email confirming a one night credit for our inconvenience which I thanked them for. Long story short they never gave us the credit saying it wasn't approved. What a lame response. If you rent from this company - BEWARE. One last item. After reading the Luxe response to other reviews about people signing that the unit was clean. What are you to do? Not take the unit and wreak your vacation? Our unit was only hosed off on the outside. I would not consider it clean. The inside was OK regarding cleanliness. Believe it or not this isn't a complete list issues!
