I was supposed to receive a delivery of a large piece of expensive furniture last Friday. Shoppe's third-partydelivery vendor texted me the morning of the delivery saying "sorry for the inconvenience. We can't come today. We didn't realize this was a three-man job instead of a two-man job." After receiving that text, I called the delivery service to see about rescheduling, and they didn't know when they could reschedule the delivery. Then I called Shoppe directly. They were busy and said they would call me back. I waited three hours. They never called. I called them back still needing to know when my delivery could be rescheduled. No updates - they said the third party delivery team would reach out to me to reschedule. I have not heard from the third party delivery team. It is now Monday. I called the delivery service, again, and I learned from them that their request for a third man was denied. I called Shoppe back to let them know that the third party delivery vendor has no idea when they will be able to fulfill my order, and I was told that they couldn't help me at the Shoppe store, and instead to dial an 888 number. When I dialed the 888 number there is literally no option to get a human on the phone. PISSED.

Sad to see this store didn't get the reviews that it deserves. Because the girls who work in the store are the nicest people in the world. Maddie, Tara, Sarah are all incredible people and are super helpful and efficient. I'm an interior designer and I stop by here when I have to pull inventory for clients absolutely love them and their customer service!!!

I ordered the Theodore bed from Amber Interiors for approximately $6k in June and was promised delivery in October. The bed was eventually delivered in November but the bed frame was chipped and broken. I contacted customer services and they promised they would send me a new bed. Fast forward to December and I was sent just a headboard without a bed frame. Such a disappointing and expensive purchase. I think their customer service is great at making false promises but very poor at fulfilling the orders. Do not recommend any purchases from this company.

I've been following Amber since she was doing midrange houses, before she opened her first store in Calabassas which I was very excited to visit. I splurged on 2 ottomans for a rental house. They were custom and would take 4-6 weeks to make, plus 2 weeks to be delivered. 8 weeks later I received notice that they'd been shipped, and an estimated delivery date. That date kept being pushed and pushed for a month. So I called the shipping company who said the items had been transferred to another shipping company a month prior and that Shoppe would know why. So I called customer service. As others have mentioned it was terrible. When I finally heard back I received a boilerplate email that basically said "oops sorry your items were lost in transit" do you want to reorder or get your money back? Not even a phone call to explain the situation and apologize. I am so disappointed on many levels.

I asked for item’s selected in store, to be shipped 2 Mondays ago. And never got it. No follow up whatsoever. A great shopping experience runined.

I purchased the Alder sofa in Shiloh Ash from Shoppe Amber Interiors and it has been the worst quality! I can't believe I spent so much money on such a cheap and poorly made piece of furniture. It's not the color it shows on the website and you can clearly see how deflated and saggy this couch is. You can even see the cushion lines in the seat cushion. No returns, no help. Customer service hasn't offered any solutions, replacements, or a refund. I will never purchase from this shop again! Such a mistake and a waste of money.

Is it possible to give 0 (zero) stars? In February 2022, I completed a furniture order with Shoppe Amber Interiors. I love their pieces and was so looking forward to receiving my order. The backorder date was indicating I wouldn't receive my order until sometime in Sept. 2022. September comes along and I had to reach out to the company for an update, as I hadn't received any word on my order. After some time passed, I received an email that my order was backordered until Dec. 2022. In Dec. 2022 I get another email indicating my order would be backordered until March 2022. Then in Jan, 2023, I was contacted by Shoppe Amber Interiors customer service, notifying me that the new backorder date was Oct. 2023 and asked if I would like to cancel the order and be refunded for my purchase. I was very disappointed that it would be almost two years before I could potentially receive my order, so I made the hard decision to cancel the order and be refunded. Here I am writing this review in mid-May 2023 and I still have not received the refund for my furniture order $$$. I have written email after email to this company, with mix messages about the timing and methodology in which my refund will be issued (can't issue refund to credit card because of timing; then told I would get a paper check; then told I would receive a link from Bill.com; then told after 2 months there was a miscommunication and I should have received a paper check in the mail). I have also attempted to call and no one will give me a phone number or direct contact to the accounting department who apparently is responsible for the issuing of refunds. What legitimate company takes months to issue a refund for a customer order? Don't ever risk doing business with this company. STAY AWAY FROM SHOPPE AMBER INTERIORS!!!!!!

Let me explain to you why I wouldn't recommend this place...their hours are from 10-6, I went to the store around 11:30-12ish as I wanted to buy some coffee table books and maybe more. I walked up to the front door it was locked, I thought maybe they had to step out, no worries. I then see who I believe is the owner stare at me then proceed to do whatever she was doing. I tried the door once more, nothing. As I walked up the window to look at some books, the women simply stared at me again then proceeded to walk to the back. Instead of maybe coming to the door and saying I'm sorry we are closed right now or can you come back? I got simply nothing. I then called to see if they would answer, to ask what time to come back and they simple just let the phone ring. I get it things come up but when a customer just wanted to buy things from what I thought was a decent store and the owner themselves closes there doors during business hours and then hides in the back when a customer shows up. Just unprofessional as can be, and for that reason I will no be coming back to this store.

I ordered a bed and some dining chairs for a client. The bed was damaged in transit and customer support did not even know until I had contacted the shipping company to find out what the problem was. It took Shoppe Amber over three weeks to determine where the bed was and what the damage was. The first set of 8 dining chairs arrived in flawed condition, the finish was unacceptable, and were returned. Subsequently the chairs were replaced and two of them were damaged a replacement for the two was made and one of them was again flawed. Customer service has been non existent through this whole process. The website and stores all look very attractive but the quality of product and and customer service is severely lacking I will never purchase anything from this company again and I suggest you seriously think again before doing so.

I'm a big fan of Amber and dreaming to decorate my future house with her curated collection. I always wanted to visit one of her stores and decided to stop by this location the other day. The store is located in downtown Calabasas and parking is in the rear. I couldn't stop taking photos because it's aesthetically so inspirational. Though most of the items may not quite be affordable, I found some items reasonably priced and super chic for the price.
