Came here today to buy some products with my friend who is an amazing makeup artist who has been well known in the industry for what she does, I asked her to come help color match me and recommend some products as she’s doing her thing to help me out we are getting highly profiled by two ladies, first a woman caucasian with BRIGHT pink hair starts to literally standing behind us at one point and moved to the side to tell someone on her microphone that we where sampling products and some other things we ddnt quite hear because I made eye contact and she lowered her voice, me and my friend ddnt really react to this we just continued doing our thing then she has her co-worker, some caucasian woman pin up looking lady with bright red lip stick asked if we needed help, we kindly declined 15 minutes later comes back and says do you need help ??? Again We declined again then she proceeded to say “you know If you needed to get a color match, I have a machine to color match you right now and points at some weird iPad scan thing” we declined nicely again at this point these two ladies made it apparent they where not to fond of us and did not like us testing the products and made us feel 100% uncomfortable. I hope you know that you guys made it very apparent that you where profiling us because you did not hide it what so ever. secondly, we declined maybe 4 times, testing products is part of why you have testers and a real make up artist (like my friend) knows what to choose, not use some machine to match a persons real skin, as a true beauty product connoisseur I’m surprised they don’t enforce their employees to know how to color match foundation with out a machine long story long we were uncomfortable and decided to tell my friend if she is seeing/feeling the same way I’m feeling so we just walked out, I’m taking my money to another Sephora or store not this location and I was about to spend some good money here ! You just lost my business, I advise who ever is in charge to watch out for these two individuals you don’t want to continue loosing revenue due to your employees profiling the wrong person! The beauty community is not for mean girls !

I booked a makeup appointment here and was a little nervous since the last time I got my makeup done was 9 years ago. I showed my makeup artist, Tatum some examples of what I would like and she knew exactly what to do. I appreciate that she listened to what I wanted and suggested makeup for me! My makeup lasted all night and I got a lot of compliments.

A very nice, smaller branch of Sephora. Went with wifey who was helped by Jazmine, a wonderful young Afghan-American lady, who immediately understood wifey's concerns. She took her time and wifey emerged triumphant with the "exact desired concealer shade from Hauslab." Not sure what this means, but service was excellent! Highly recommended!

I've avoided Sephora as a retailer in light of their business practices (selling in anti-women homophobic countries). A specific product was recommended, and that Sephora was where I could find it, so I chose to make the exception. I entered a store with at least three young employees chatting amongst themselves, ignoring me, the only customer in the store. I approached the register area and explained to the seemingly disinterested young woman that I needed assistance. She called over a colleague who stared at her phone as we walked toward the product. She pointed to it and began to walk away. I had to repeat that I wasn't familiar with it and needed help selecting the color, etc. her response? She pulled out a tube, suggesting that this was 'probably' right, and left. I figured it out myself and purchased the item from the original, disinterested cashier. I followed up with the manager to express my disappointment in the lack of customer service in her store. Her response was to say she'd 'talk to the staff', offering me no satisfaction whatsoever. Her response was similar to the disinterest of the store employees. I will return to not supporting this company, certainly not the Calabasas location. Good luck to those who don't care about being treated poorly; this is the behavior that gives the community a reputation as snobby.

My experience here was nothing exceptional. The two sales girls I encountered were just plain rude. I was looking for someone to help me recommend a product and by no means was I rushing for any help quickly, just inquiring if someone was available to help. When I approached a sales person, she quickly said "I already clocked out" and walked away. The second sales girl was helping another lady, and I simply asked if there was someone available to help. Her response was not only abrupt and rude to dismiss the ask, she replied I can't right now, we're super busy with a nasty attitude. I thought to myself " Wow, is this what customer service has come down to!" At least now I know what you get coming here. Even though I addressed my concern to the manager, it shows the lack of customer service training not with one but two sales representatives in less than 15 minutes of my visit. brick and mortars wonder why they can't stay in business or why online shopping is taking over as many stores close. This is just one example of the poor quality experience shopping in store.

Excellent service for drive up orders, Northridge location has rude staff and even though it says they are doing curbside pickup they are not. Team member at northridge was rude and cut me off several times I spoke to the manager to see if they could switch the order to another location and they said they were having system problems.
I had to cancel and reorder entire order.
Manager was not helpful. I’m happy I decided to come to Calabasas. Better service, courteous and professional and they had all items I needed in stock! Christmas shopping done ✔️ thanks Sephora Calabasas, I will be back!

I am truly truly grateful for Brian. He gave me not one but two solutions on my 15 year struggles to find an eyeliner that doesn't smudge on my face. All the struggles are gone just like that! I've tried so many eyeliners in my life and felt like I was going no where. At one point, I thought maybe Marc Jacobs' Crayon Eyeliner is best there is but it got discontinued. So Brian gave me two suggestions and I bought both. Slept through the day and no smudge. My husband was surprised. I am like whaaaat?!? I am definitely going back to him to ask him makeup questions. He is like an makeup doctor that finds solutions to my problems. This is now my favorite Sephora store.

Be wary of booking any makeup appointments! I had a full face appointment that I booked well in advance of my event. They called me DAY OF my event to cancel. They have a policy where they would charge you if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance. However, be aware that they can cancel on you leaving you in a bind with no other options. They were rude and unprofessional about this.

Most of the employees are very helpful. Checkout was difficult to use Sephora card and use my earned points. Manager couldn’t help, was dismissive and kept telling the Customer Service agent that they were wrong, as in, that’s not how this issue is done. After spending 20 minutes to straighten it out. The manager re-rings the order and fails to put the 20% perfume discount among other things and the total was 60$ more. At that point I was done and only bought 1 small item that I really needed. Frustrating all the way around. I won’t be going back to this store, if any. Sephora has had ongoing problems between rewards points and the system working. Although I’ve had the best experiences at the Glendale store. Northridge store also not so good. I needed help at NARS foundation and stood there with no help, I ended up with the wrong foundation color and still haven’t exchanged it, for the no service at that store.
