These two most recent reviews must be friends/family because I would never in a million years put my dog in this place. They do NOT go out to play or to exercise areas, and are each in outdoor caged kennels where they poop and pee all day and someone comes around and hoses it down with the dog still in it. It’s sooo loud. Dogs are pacing like caged lions back and forth. Some are jumping so high and literally climbing up the kennels. It’s pure torture, solitary confinement for these dogs. No human interaction, no dog interaction, no volunteers there. After going there to pick up a dog to foster from a rescue, I was disturbed for a long time. The thought of these dogs being saved from a local shelter, yet now being in a place nowhere near any better. The dogs are so stressed with hair patches missing and all seemed to have diarrhea. I have photos for proof. This place needs to be checked out. It’s been cold at night so I think about them all in their outdoor kennels with their makeshift dirty doghouses to go in but no blankets, no beds and surely they’re cold. Not one dog had a toy or anything to do besides pace and bark.

My friend owns this so we went there when we got a dog and you could see it is nice and organized and the dogs aren’t going insane like if you get them from a shelter but pls still adopt dogs from anywhere.

I just had such a great experience here! I love transporting/fostering shelter dogs. Yesterday we pulled a dog after hours at the shelter for a rescue and she slept over until this facility opened this morning (for one night). Normally I’m not a fan of a dog going from shelter to boarding but after coming here- my mind was changed. This place is on a beautiful property, all the dogs here are so mentally and physically enriched that there was almost no barking when I pulled up, even with so many dogs in sight. They were HAPPY! The owner was just wonderful. She was expecting Raven and was so warm and lovely. The staff that came out to collect Raven was just as lovely! He seemed to be there out of genuine love for the dogs. I slowly drove out, and looked closer at everything and I just love it here. I love the play area and workout area for the pups. I love traveling w my own dogs but am thinking maybe they’d rather be here next time I go out of town haha I highly recommend.

Anna took care of my dog for more than a month when we have to travel out of the country. My dog was healthy, happy and looked so good when I picked her up. I am extremely thankful to Anna and her crew for taking care of pet baby.

Expensive, but good at keeping dogs safe while you're away.

We have served the entire West Valley since 1954. We offer sheltered, individual (indoor/outdoor) runs, at a beautiful shaded 7 acre ranch. Owners on premises. We are open 8 to 5 Monday through Saturday, closed on Sunday and holidays. We are located in Agoura on the north side of the freeway off of Lost Hills road. Thank you.

After 5 days of fighting fires, protecting the pets and other animals. Rancho Pet Kennels are back in business. Anna and her crew did an amazing job of keeping our pets safe from harm. Her determination of putting the pets first really resonates of her passion for animal care. I WILL ALWAYS TRUST ANNA AND HER TEAM WITH MY PETS!! RANCHO PET KENNELS IS NACK IN BUSINESS!!!

Wish I could give 100 stars!! I have brought dogs here for boarding for the past 30 years. Anna, Rafa, Rafa's wife (sorry I don't know your name!) are the most extraordinary caring group of people. The staff goes out of their way for the animals. My older guy passed away earlier this year. He was having trouble standing and walking. I had to board him but I knew he would get as good of care as if I was home. Rafa made sure he ate and drank, propping him up to do so. I doubt another boarding facility would go out of their way for an animal that needed extra attention. They know each animal's little quirks and truly love them all. This is the place to bring your pet if you want to sleep well while you have to travel.

I started bringing my Labrador Retriever to Rancho Pet Kennels when he has just a pup. He was one of those big labs and the large outdoor runs were perfect for him. He always came home healthy and happy. Even in his senior years, I knew he was in good hands with Anna as I knew she was keeping a close eye on him. Now I bring my cairn terrier and terrier mix pups to her and they come home happy, well groomed and totally non stressed. So nice to have a place like Rancho that you can trust to do it right!!!
