We had just moved to LA, and I was looking for something special. Luckily, I heard from a friend who was in education to check out Muse. Besides the gorgeous campus in the Santa Monica Mountains, the thing that sold me on Muse during my visit, was none of the adults were talking down to the students, they seemed liked equals. Students are active in their education and we especially love that they choose a passion project every semester to focus on a subject of their choice. I really love the staff at Muse. Not only are the teachers stellar and extremely qualified, they are kind and inspiring leaders. My kids couldn't be happier. They bring home plants. They have their own gardens at school and eat plant based meals for lunch every day. They have amazing friends and love playing sports and performing in the school plays. We couldn't be happier with Muse and it keeps getting better! This is our 5th year!

Our child is in his third year at Muse and all we can say is, this is the school we wish existed when we were growing up. It is such a treasure and our child is thriving. From the teachers, to the leaders, to the staff, we couldn't be happier. Everyone is fully present, believes in what they do, and passionately strives to push the learning experience forward. To the families who are considering it but have questions, I'll answer the questions I had and hope it helps. Are they who they present themselves to be? Absolutely, and then some. This is our first experience in a school such as this and we didn't know what to expect. Three years later, our child's continuing education at Muse is a top priority in our household. There is a sense of community. We feel very safe and seen as a family. We know any questions or concerns will be handled with care and clarity. What's the deal with the Veganism? Here's the deal as I perceive it. We are not vegan or vegetarian, but do integrate vegetarian/vegan meals into our lives. Especially when it's prepared! They have an amazing in-house vegan chef, so you don't have to make lunch or snacks for your child. They do have a rule where you can't bring outside food. That'll either work for you or it won't. For us, it's a feature. In fact, when we first toured the school, they offered food. Our child tried and was very impressed. That could've been a dealbreaker if he didn't like it. Yes, they teach sustainability, seed to table, and grow food on the property. It is a part of their overall mission to be the change, but it's nothing dogmatic whatsoever.Muse prides itself in the general approach to education and sustainability, and they should be proud. From the passion-based learning, to the compassionate, inclusive, socially conscious approach across the board, our family couldn't be happier being a part of this community.

MUSE Global was an amazing experience for our daughter. After a tough couple of years due to Covid, we were looking for a private school alternative and are so grateful we found MUSE. Every single person we encountered there, administration, teacher and staff, are like family. They nurtured and cared for our daughter and, above all, ensured she was learning at her highest and best potential. I highly, highly recommend MUSE Global!

Wow! For a school that says it's all inclusive to different people and all types , you sure do make it very known that it's NOT ok to NOT be vegan! I asked if my 2 year old daughter could bring her bottle of MILK to school (the substance she LIVES on!) and the answer was dagger eyes and shunning! I have never felt so ostracized and persecuted in my life. And just FYI: I am a huge animal advocate. I own cows and horses and chickens and indoor animals as well. Milking a cow humanly does not hurt an animal, nor does having chickens and collecting their eggs or making your own raw cheeses. MUSE needs to practice what they preach and make everyone feel included, not just their leaf-munching brothers and sisters. I would NEVER put my child in a school that preaches acceptance and yet hypocritically has no interest in accepting people who don't believe exactly as they do. Such a shame. Beautiful campus, the rest is a sham.

My family is thrilled with the education our daughter has received in the last 2 years. This os a place where differences are respected and welcomed. There's a great focus on the environment and the positive side of every child. Academics are strong and there are several different specialists for arts, seed-to-table, cooking, performing arts (amazing), etc. Great school!

Both my Kids have been with Muse for about 2 years now, one in 4th grade and the other in 9th grade. Let me tell you this! Both my kids love Muse! My 10 year old was struggling with math before joining Muse, and I love that the teachers took their time do 1 on 1 sessions to help him improve. The patience and passion these teachers have for their students is like no other. My kids will be entering 5th and 10th grade at MUSE School, joining Muse was the best decision by far.

Our daughter has been at MUSE for 2 years and we all love it! She has flourished both academically and as a human being. This school prepares the children for the world, not just to test well. Our daughter was classified intellectually gifted and talented at her LAUSD school before going to MUSE and we were concerned she wouldn't be properly stimulated, since private schools don't have specific GATE programs. What we found is that MUSE has such individualized instruction, that our daughter really advanced in all aspects of her schooling. I highly recommend it and frankly don't understand the bad reviews, specially from people who haven't even had their kids enrolled at the school... Kudos to all the teachers and staff for taking such good care of our daughter.
