“I wanted to write a follow-up to my original review, posted more than 10 years ago when I purchased the Henri Curving Vessel Studio Fountain (ref photo) from Reseda Discount Pottery & Fountains (RDP & F). Initially, we resided in Newbury Park (Ventura County) and in 2019, moved to Yucaipa (San Bernardino County). This becomes an important fact, in that after many years (in 2019) following its purchase, (RDP & F) arranged to come to our home in N.P. to break-down and transport our fountain, to our new home in Yucaipa; whereupon they reassembled, installed & made operational our fountain. Now, that fountain continues in service today, as it did the day it was initially installed. I should also mention that some 2-yrs following RDP & F transporting & re-installing our fountain in Yucaipa, they responded to my request to return and service the fountain by installing an upgraded pump system. Our years of experience with this company has been met with repeated courtesy, and professional, pro-customer service. They have been excellent, as has been the case with the wonderful fountain they sold to us so many years ago!”
“I had 2 Indian rugs cleaned by Superior Rugs. They worked patiently with my schedule, picked up each rug and did a great job thoroughly cleaning the rugs. They brought the rugs back and put them in place. They appear new again!

Retro Relics is located on Sherman Way in Canoga Park along the antique section of this area, West of Canoga Ave. Defintely stop by and peruse their store. “Oct 2023The guy who runs the place inside the store is really friendly and helpful. He's an honest guy, making an honest living.You will find that the quality here far exceeds any of the stuff you'll find at a Home Depot is for instance, and in some cases even Lowe's.They deal mostly in ceramic, and clay pottery.I was trying to find some plastic or resin pieces that were durable, and the owner had suggested to try a few other places. He didn't have the inventory, but he was still very friendly in suggesting some other spots to try.I do wish they would carry some thick, resin or plastic pots that are 1/8 to 1/4 in thickness. I'm sure this would be my go-to spot if that were the case. For now, I'm stuck with the big corporate places.In general though, if you're looking for a piece that's going to stand out in your garden, something as a focal point, or conversational piece, I think you'll find that this place might have what you're looking for.”

“Fantastic place. I've gotten my college and law school diplomas framed here. Along with the front page of the LA Times from when the Dodgers won the world series. I love the attitude from the people here, super friendly and welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable on design. If you are still figuring out how you want something framed they helped me decide some colors and textures (including telling me they had a blue felt that matched Dodger Blue!).I will forever be coming here as long as I need *good* frames and as long as they are here. And the prices are fair for what you get. A good frame isn't cheap, but the quality of work from them is very much worth the price.”
