“Traditions Christmas Shoppe is the absolute best place for Decorations. Especially Halloween. Even though it's called a Christmas Shoppe, it has all Holiday Decorations. Many Vintage, which I love. I placed an order over the phone. Their merchandise is superior. Well made, very detailed and arrives at your door quickly. The Associates that take your order are always nice & go out of their way to help you. I will shopping at Traditions often. It's also a Family Business. It's all good. Great place for Decorations.”

“Honestly i have nothing but positive things to say about this store, Dae and Chris are two of the best store owners and their staff is always super active in the community and even join in sometimes to fill in spots for matches, their great. i hope they are extremely successful in the coming years. They have Star Wars(starting march 1st), MTG, Pokemon, Flesh and Blood, and One Piece matches every week, and they keep their prices decent especially during the holidays (specifically their amazing black friday deals!)”

“I popped into this store today with a friend. Don was so helpful, he spent well over an hour talking to us about converting our Slashes to drag. He was so knowledgeable a wealth of info! I called Don up asked him if he has some parts I needed. He said yes. I drove over from Calabasas to Simi. By the time I got there, it was almost 430. He closes at 4, but said come in and got the parts I needed. Don did not have to do this, but so grateful he did! He has earned a costumer for life! Thank you so much!!!!”

“I've been coming to the bead lounge for a few years now, and I just have to say, these women have made me feel like family. I have taken several classes, from learning how to make a basic bracelet, to now wire wrapping, and I'm the kind of person who needs to watch, and ask questions, and needs the person teaching me to go slow, and explain things. Each one of these women has made me feel so comfortable. Now aside from that, sometimes I come in just to get inspiration. Sometimes I get stuck on what to make next, and I'll walk in and no joke, I am approached with a hug either from the owner Bari, Taylor, Naya or Sky, and asked how I'm doing and what they can help with. They have an incredible selection of beads, charms, chains, clasps. I've looked at several other bead stores in the area when I was first getting my feet wet in making jewelry, and it's obvious that Bari cares about what she wants in her store. The quality of her selection is truly unmatched. You can just see and feel the difference. I'm a forever fan of the bead lounge, and I know when I go in, I will always be welcomed and helped in any way they can provide.”

“I love this store! There are so few like it left in this Amazon world we live in, and their prices are so reasonable! They've been around forever, and I was so grateful they survived COVID. They have a little bit of everything and provide services like knife and scissor sharpening and they making keys as well - you can't even get keys made at Home Depot anymore - in this age of service-less stores, they now have a machine and you have to do it yourself - which may or may not work. The people at Knife Trader are so fair and honest that when I brought my cuticle scissors in for sharpening, they told me they didn't even need it! They could easily have just done it and charged me and I never would have known the difference. It's a blessing when you get to deal with good, kind, honest people. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem!”

“An employee named Adrian helped me with my very large and annoying return which were on 5 different receipts with each receipt having like dozen items. He patiently serviced me with the return. I felt bad for the customers behind but Adrian treated me with respect and superb patience! I knew my return would take FOREVER and was a bit scared to go to the counter (you know if you end up with a bad employee; they'd be acting so irritated and annoyed) but Adrian made me feel comfortable about returning the items without feeling bad about it. By the way, Michael's needs to upgrade their system. How in the world can they use such system in year 2024?!?! One order should just have one barcode from the order confirmation email and return all items all at once! My deliveries came in like 10 different shipments and that was annoying too. My 5-star review is solely based on Adrian's service but if it was for Michael's store or system, I'd give them 2-3 stars!”

“Michaels has everything you will ever need in way of arts and crafts. They have classes to teach you things from painting to making a wreath. They are full of ideas. You can always find all sorts of ideas and craft packages for kids to make. I was in a rut because I ordered a bunch of crafts from a company for my Sunday School students to make. No one seems to sell religious arts and crafts in stores but I found them at Michael's. It wasn't big selection but I was grateful to find what I did. I actually met the late David McCallum there picking up some crafts. They have sketching, painting, floral, candles & candle making kits. They have gemstones and findings for making jewelry, wood crafts for painting as well as Canvasses. It's really wonderful just how much they have. All the personnel know about everything you need to find and make something and how to do it. Michael's makes the world a better place.”
“Glad to see bookstores are still going strong! Of course you can buy most everything you find for cheaper online, but I prefer the good old-fashioned experience of looking in-person and taking it all in. Lots of places to sit on both levels if you want to take a load off. Starbucks on the first level if you can't live without coffee & treats. The employees are very kind and will do everything they can to help especially if you're looking for something in particular. If you're in the market for books, support Barnes & Noble. Now go read something!”
