I wanted to purchase a drill press that was on clearance. However it was the last one and they can’t sell it because they would not be in plan-o-gram compliance. I thought seriously, if you have it and a customer wants it you sell it! Not with them. Called Corporate Office and they told me they had no authority over the store’s . Got that same response from 3 different people at so called corporate, which I know now is just a front runner blocking for the actual corporate employees. It’s sad to see a company running its operations like this. I should have known I would not get resolution on this because when I Googled the corporate office to get their # I saw Harbor Freight has a 2 star rating! I bet if you actually removed employee reviews it would quickly drop to a 1. So this is why I do not recommend anyone to shop this at Harbor Freight .

I have shared my concern with your store manager at your Centennial store 2 different times. I placed a phone call and the 2 people I spoke to didn't sound like they cared. I had to force them to make the complaint and I was told I would hear from you. Well either they filled my complaints in their trash can or they sent the complaint but Harbor Freight could care less. I've spent about $3000 with you in the last 6 months. If I don't hear from someone that cares it will be my last dime

I'm sadly a paid member. I'll be filing charges against Eric Smitd for stealing. And contacting the BBB. Had ordered a spot light Dec. 29th 2023, standard 5 to 7 day shipping costing extra $7. It's now January 10th. I've contacted them through the app 2 times now, and still no response and no spotlight. So you just take almost $60 from people now and then ignore them? I'll be filing a police report for theft against the CEO come Friday if I don't hear nothing back.

They don't have to be cheapest, just the selection is the best. I have had stores not honor their extended warranty and management closing bathrooms because they were already cleaned. While at one time harbor freight tools was an actual discount tool store, that is quickly changing. They still offer the Chinese tools you can buy at the dollar stores, but its no longer what it used to be. For me it started with the insider subscription, but in reality its been a while. If you compare air compressors side by side husky has the lower priced better spec version. If you compare tile saws, side by side, Ridgid has the better deal. If you compare baur with Ryobi, its no longer the better option. You can still pick up throw away tools, but i got a feeling that's not going to be the case in the future. I am more likely to buy from home Depot now, 3 years ago all my $$ would go to harbor freight.

It’s been 8 days with 5 of them being business days and they still haven’t shipped item I bought through their website. Advertised 5-7 days are completely false. After first 4 days of not receiving a tracking number as their promised they will when it’s shipped, I realize it will not get here on time, so I sent them an email asking to cancel my order. They declined to order already being fulfilled, 3 more business days passed and still not shipped.Terrible companySince I’m already here, let me mention 2 of my visits to stores around my house, both times their website claimed items are in stock in stores but in reality none are there.As much as I would like to support local business harbor freight will not be one of them. Had to order on Amazon and pay expedited shipping to make sure it gets here on time.

I purchased a digital download from Harbor Freight’s website. It has been over 24 hours, my card is charged and I never received my gift card. I tried contacting customer service and got no response. This is scammy, bait and switch behavior. Also, its 2023 - every company online has instant digital downloads - why is this process so drawn out? I will never recommend purchasing a digital download from the Harbor Freight website based on my experience.

Over the years I have noticed changes at Harbor Freight. It went from cheap and junkie to improved quality, still Chinese packaging and good pricing if you bought it on sale. Of late, I have noticed the packaging is better quality, but a lot more plastic, the quality hasn't improved, but it more consistantly "better Chinese" quality. But the price keeps going up to the point that it is cheaper at Walmart and similar to Amazon, although at Amazon the reviews seem to be much more reliable.I wonder if there is a new CEO that has prompted this change, but a couple of times this Christmas, a "12 days of Christmas" item that I had been thinking about already. I went to 2 stores in my area and they both said they are only given a couple to sell so they are gone very first thing in the morning. I noticed that is said "in-store and on-line." I tried to order it from the app and it said I had to ordercamerae was 71% more even though it said the price was valid in-store or on-line. I dug further and the only explanation is shipping costs. I asked if I could have it shipped to my local store and they said no.So how did I solve the problem? I ordered from Amazon. No hassles, no run around, better quality anyhow (on the camera case) and it will be on my door step in 2 days. The crazy thing is as a Prime member, shipping is free and the price is much less than the Harbor Freight shipped price.I have paid for an "Inside Track Membership." I've realized that it means VERY little. Really all it seems to mean is I get millions of text messages and emails about stuff I don't want, and if I do want it, the "deal" ends up being a waste of time.

I love going to Harbor Freight. Yesterday I went to buy a few things and the cashier didn’t even thank me after I thanked her. When I got to my vehicle I notice I did not get the discount on a couple of items. So I went to the same cashier and she stated that the discount was for the members so I apologize and told her I would not take the item at this time. I received my money for the exchange and I said thank you. Again she did not say thank you so I asked her why she didn’t say thank you both times and just smirked at me and called up the next customer. That has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at this store. The store is on Yarbrough in El Paso Tx. The cashier was Eunice.

When I enter the store on Figueroa in LA I am videotaped. Ok. That is now standard in America. But when I went to pay $20 for a pair of working gloves I was asked for my telephone number ( I refused) and then for my ID. ( refused again) The store manager Marco explained to me: "It's for your own protection". I don't need any company to protect me from a $ 20 purchase.Now I'll buy my tools my Amazon.

Trying to get through to customer service or to the corporate offices is darn near impossible. You don't get call backs and you'll wait forever until the connection is broken with a disconnect.Wasted time. No corporate support available. And warranting some items just won't happen.Beware of what you purchase if it needs corporate assistance, as you will burn lots of time and might not ever get through to them.

Sorry I EVER spent my hard earned cash on a brand NEW product that turned ouit to be defective and when I returned to the local store to exchange the item the next day I was informed, after the fact, by the cashier that I would be charged a "restocking fee" on the defective item. KISS MY A$$ HARBOR FREIGHT>>>> PROUD SUPPORTER OF THE OVERSEAS JUNK MANUFACTURERS & DEALERS>>>>>>>> I WILL NOT EVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY WITH THIS "BUSINESS".

Lost customer… where are the old coupons? 30% off limited to $10 items? Is that even a coupon? Fire who made that change.. this isn’t the harbor freight we know and love.
