The manager, Lynne was a big help to me tonight in 2 ways:1. solving some discounting challenges with the register.2. she also came to the front 15 min AFTER THE STORE HAD CLOSED. to hand me my cell phone that I left at the register.Quality, Caring professional. 5 stars for Lynne?

A “management team member” in the Discovery Bay CVS argued with me on a pice that showed on the CVS App when scanning the item and refused to discuss the price difference. She had ZERO customer service and should not be allowed to work with the public. She was combative and her tone was angry! I will never shop at that store again, returned the item I bought after going to Safeway and found the same exact item for the lower price. I will go out of my way to avoid rude stores, managers and will never go back!!

Hate the pharmacy here! The Asian man with the bun is supposedly the boss at the pharmacy, but he's rude and has lost my prescriptions a number of times! Then he expects me to be the one to get replacement prescriptions for his mistakes! The store itself isn't bad, but the pharmacy experience alone makes me give it 1 star, but I would give it negative stars if I could! Stay away from this pharmacy!

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to! If I could give them -5 stars, I would. The pharmacy manager there, this Asian guy with a hairbun, had THE WORST customer service! I only went to this pharmacy because it's less than 5 minutes away from home, but after two years of putting up with their BS, I finally decided to stop going to them. He's lost the paper prescriptions that I've dropped off in person 3 times in the two years I went here. It's such an inconvenience because my two dogs' vets that prescribe their seizure meds are from Deer Valley in Antioch, so this pharmacy expects me to go in person to the vet to get another paper prescription that they lost! And this is the only pharmacy that gives me so much grief over how there's no barcode on the prescriptions! I decide it was time to go to Walgreens, even though it's farther. I highly DO NOT recommend this pharmacy! Avoid it at all cost!!!

Extremely rude pharmacist lady. No stars. Pharmacy closes at 5pm... I was in line before 5pm to ask a quick question as she finished up with the customer ahead of me still at 5:02. I was in line before their closing time she hurried up with the customer ahead of me and began closing their gate saying they were closed before asking what I needed. I had a simple question. Very poor customer service.

Regarding CVS pharmacy in Discovery Bay--I keep putting off going because their hours are extremely limited. Then I come in during my work, extra trip just to go during open hours and they are at lunch 1:30 - 2. The cashier was extremely rude! Says they are at lunch at that time every day (quite rudely I might add) as if I know this?! Think I need to switch pharmacies...

Extremely poor people skills and business practices. All of this in one visit:
Told us that the prescription wasn’t sent to them and there was nothing they could do. After driving around, confirming prescription with ER, etc., we found out it was simply under the wrong name and they had meant to call us.
We never could get a phone call through, and once in store I found out why. During my 40 minutes in store, “1 call for pharmacy” was on repeat. They chose to never answer the incoming calls, even just to say sorry we’re busy can you wait on hold or call back”.
Once they found and resolved the issue, they discovered they didn’t have a simple antibiotic. Thankfully they did try and find another location that had it, but said they couldn’t confirm because the other CVS wouldn’t answer the phone either.
Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but the negative attitude and hostility on top of the issues really put a bow on the whole experience.

Best experience at the Discovery Bay CVS on July 4th. I forgot my cash and credit cards at home and was purchasing a greeting card. The clerk, Darcy, offered to pay for the card. She then discovered I had $20 in Care Pass rewards and I was able to buy other items along with the card. Thanks, Darcy, for going above and beyond!

I just picked up a prescription and they gave me the wrong one. That's not the only reason I'm upset. Since Garrett left things have gone downhill. I have a Doctor Who called in my prescriptions every four weeks. The doctor immediately calls the prescription in when I visit his office. They never have them ready until after 5 o'clock. That's not acceptable.
