“This mom and pop gas station is an easy on and off the 5 Freeway of you are coming from the north and heading south otherwise TA and restaurants are on the left. We chose it for the easy access not necessarily the cheapest gas but nothing is. The restrooms were clean. It has a mini market inside which is great if you're hungry. They also have Krunch chicken which I believe they have to cook for you but I didn't eat. One thing which was why I gave it 4 stars was all the weapons they were selling behind glass cases. The cases aren't locked. They slide right open. They had ALOT of knives and machetes. They had 3 cases of them. I'm not sure why they need that many. Anyone can just come in and grab one. That is a security issue for those who shop and work there”

“Quick stop here at the Sinclair gas station, which is part of the Oasis Truck-stop. I saw the Krispy Crunchy Chicken inside, which I had coincidentally literally just read about in other people's reviews... So I had to try it! The four piece tenders and biscuit Is enough to share as a snack.The chicken tenders were, like its namesake, certainly crispy and crunchy, not dry, considering it was sitting under a heat lamp! The bread coating flavor is basic/plain, probably good for a little kids, who may not like much spice in it. The dipping sauces had many options, but seemed ordinary and on par with fast-food quality packaged dips. The female attendant at the counter was friendly and helpful! Always a plus in my book!”
“Husband and wife team expedite truckers here. Had a very pleasant experience at this TA. There was a bit of a line, but the clerk apologized once we were attended to and took care of our needs professionally, quickly, and with a very pleasant and helpful demeanor. We purchased a shower (for $17) and requested a larger shower since we would be sharing the space. They happily accommodated us. We had shower #5. There was even a nice quiet trucker’s lounge upstairs with loungers and a large flatscreen.My one and only complaint was that the entrance door near the truck diesel lanes was locked without a sign sending multiple truckers wandering around the building before realizing the main entrance in front was the only entrance open to the public. Removing the “welcome professional drivers” sign or placing a temporary sign redirecting drivers to the correct entrance would be appreciated I’m sure.”

There's plenty of parking for cars, RV's and semis.I particularly liked the customer service, the cleanliness/neatness of the store, and the sanitized/cleanliness of the bathroom and extra wide size stalls. I definitely recommend this stop.”

“What a great surprise. Stopped here for gas. Looks like a typical I5 gas station-until you go in a and see the massive amounts of alcohol, knives, axes, and other weapons for sale.”

“The lady there is extremely nice and very personable. I called to see if whether or not I could fuel my small truck and the lady was very nice and helpful. Diesel is extremely cheap here and I'm glad that they've been keeping it that way for a long time. Excellent service”

“This gas station at buttonwillow is the best price for quality gas you'll get off the I-5 freeway on your trip to LA or SF. Every time I make my trip to LA I always make sure to stop by this gas station.Pro tip: you need to pay cash to get the discount price and use the restroom at the Carl's Jr or McDonald's.”

“It was 1 am on I5 and my check tire light came on. After finding the other stations at this busy interchange without a functioning air pump (and even being charged to use a broken one and the clerk at TA directed me to their pump but did not bother to add that it hadn’t worked for months). The Arco clerk however let me use their functioning air pump without charging the posted 1.50. A small act of kindness and generosity that restores my faith. Thank you! You have a loyal customer.”
