I had a great purchase experience buying a new Volvo XC40. The salesperson, Will, was knowledgable, friendly and no pressure. He let me go at my own pace through the evaluation and buying process and patiently answered my questions at every step of the way. I would recommend him and this dealership to anyone in the market for a Volvo.

Would give zero if it allows. Replaced the main battery for my XC90 on Tuesday. Today when opening trunk, I noticed the plastic connector pops up (as shown in picture). I took closer look to see why it could no longer fit in and found plastic is broken. Totally unexpected. The advisor was very friendly. So no complains on the advisor. Technician there seems so careless. It’s a small thing but got me so frustrated. They broke it and didn’t tell you. Won’t go again. If you have an appointment, recommend you checking it throughly before driving out.

My experience of working with Jin Yu the sales consultant was excellent (5 stars). I found him to be professional and very easy to work with. He was able to locate the car I wanted quickly and at a fair price. However, I did not have a positive experience once I left the Volvo dealership to work with the finance manager and it was time to hear about the "optional packages" (0 stars). Jin stepped in and he and his manager Tommy completed the paperwork back at the Volvo dealership.

We purchased a beautiful new Volvo XC60 Recharge plug in hybrid from Jin yesterday. He (& the entire dealership) was very knowledgeable & professional. He treated us with respect & was able to answer all our questions. We would highly recommend Jin if you are looking for a Volvo.

If you’re a woman PLEASE don’t come alone. come with someone who is knowledgeable. They will manipulate you into spending way more money than you need to. I never leave reviews but after realizing what they did I just feel sick to my stomach that they took advantage of me. I won’t go into detail but just bring someone who is aware of people like them. Typical salesman

Wife took V60 PE for scheduled service. The following day I noticed this mess on the garage floor after she left for work. Had to pull up my new garage flooring that I installed the previous week to clean the mess. Have it scheduled to go back on Monday the 8th. That will be the last time it goes to that dealership.
UPDATE: Seems the service tech didn’t replace the O ring on the filter housing. This is how much oil leaked just pulling it into my garage.

I had a great car buying experience! My sales rep, Jin, was friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job of balancing encouraging me to buy the car with allowing me some time to ponder. He communicated effectively, even after the sale was made. He even put a big bow on the car when he found out it was my birthday! Cartier took care of the financing, and really went above and beyond. He allowed me to bring my title for my trade-in the next day (I didn't have it with me because I didn't really expect to buy a car the first day I looked), and he found better financing for me after I signed the contract, saving me $$$! The manager, Tommy, even gave me some free charging credits to get me started with my new electric car. I got a good price and excellent service!

The whole car buying and picking up process at Volvo of Burlingame was a delightful experience. No hard sells. Transparency about availability, features and pricing, combined with excellent technical knowledge about the vehicle and help with set-up. I’ve been through the car buying experience many times and this was top two, if not the best.
