The furniture looks great, it is modern, elegant and the quality seems to be good, and it is nice that the store is in downtown Burlingame.
The sales representative was first very friendly and welcoming, however she had to ask several times her colleague about how to get the price for the items we were interested in. And then we were told one price, and then after a few minutes for the same items the total price increased. We felt very overwhelmed and confused, we tried to explain why we would not make a decision, but then we felt that the tone of the sales representative changed very strongly, we felt very uncomfortable and offended , so much so that we will never visit that store again.
During the conversation my husband and I had, while trying to decide, or not even saying anything just taking a break to think, the sales representative made comments about us, that were just assumptions and in our opinion not appropriate.

We bought a beautiful teak sectional with an ottoman and a table from Terra in Burlingame a couple of months ago. Our experience has been really great from the first visit to the store, the extensive selection of beautiful outdoor furniture, the excellent consultation/advice to the timely delivery of our pieces. Our salesperson Carolyn was always our main contact and patiently and happily answered questions we had even weeks after delivery. We had a small issue with one of the pieces and Carolyn promptly handled it (she literally called me 15 minutes after I sent the email with a solution). I love that I have a single point of contact, that the furniture is high quality and that the customer service is really exceptional. We will definitely come back.

Popped in to shop around and get ideas for my backyard, left with a mountain of knowledge about the products and answers to questions I didn't even think to ask. The staff was knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. The products were great and seemed to work for many different aesthetics. I appreciate that you can mix and match items to fit your design. Lots of seating, table, and fire pit options to dream up your outdoor space. The items were reasonably priced and a better quality than regular box stores.

Our designer suggested ordering our outdoor furniture from Terra for our landscape remodel. I was lucky to have bought 95% of the outdoor furniture from Carolyn Myers at the Burlingame Terra showroom. If you want top-notch customer service, work with Carolyn. She brought back the good old-fashioned excellent customer service. She is helping me every step of the way. On the day she was not at the showroom, her colleagues at the Burlingame showroom were also very helpful. This showroom has an excellent sales team. The furniture is modern and high quality.

Terra Outdoor Living is the best store for anything outdoor! I have purchased dining tables, chairs, rockers, umbrellas, etc over the years. I love the quality, etc! I purchased some dining chairs three years ago and have absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, I had some issues with them 3 years after the fact and when I called for help they handled my call with the best service EVER. They immediately said they would replace them. They delivered four new chairs within the week- I was blown away! I will continue to shop here for my outdoor furniture and I highly recommend them!

After my purchase, my complaint to customer was taken with a grain of salt. Out door concrete furniture should be sealed for protection against the weather. My 4k table changed colors, they said I should take picture, I did, they said they would send some one to my home to inspect my concerns, I’m still waiting, to get them to return phone calls is like pulling teeth.

This store really understands customer service and how to deliver a great customer experience. We worked with Janelle and she knows her stuff. She patiently showed us a number of options, worked with us on finding the right outdoor patio for our space, wasn't at all pushy, and most importantly, was highly communicative and helpful as they dealt with Covid related supply chain challenges. They've been a pleasure to work with and if you're in the market for high quality outdoor furniture with a white glove service, I'd recommend the Burlingame store.

We spent a lot of time looking for outdoor furniture from Restoration Hardware to IKEA as we were remodeling our front and back yard. We really liked the variety of styles at Terra from aluminum to teak and while they weren't the cheapest they certainly had the most selection and service. Bernadette worked with us every step of the way from choosing our outdoor dining table and chairs to our sofa set. What really sets Terra apart is the level of service that Bernadette provided. Due to supply chain/port issues there were a few pieces that weren't available and we were going to have a big party. She managed to send us a loaner and worked with us extensively. She is always available and is realistic about the pros and cons of certain types of furniture and how it will weather. I appreciate her candor, knowledge and customer service. We are happy with our purchases.
