You can count on Larry and John. Thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable, flexible, always available when you need them, they've helped me navigate an increasingly complex tax situation with aplomb. Not only have they filed my taxes, they've taught me what I need to know along the way. They're just a phone call away whenever you need them and always glad to help.

Most people hang their heads when they talk about 'having to do their taxes'. Not me... cuz I've got Larry and John. I am grateful that I found them 6 years ago when my business and personal tax scenarios were complicated. They streamline the process and respond quickly to queries and answer my questions with patience and compassion and their fees are so very reasonable.! What more could one ask for?

Had a brief conversation on the phone with Larry and found him truly unprofessional. He stated that his rates after 10/31/20 would be increased from $200/hr to (he started laughing) something higher..., was this an attempt at a pressure tactic or what?I also inquired about a consultation fee and he asked me a few questions and stated he it would cost me $200 just to initially chat, then he would set approximate the number of hours after that payment. I reached out to 2 other accountants with the same initial information I provided to Larry (my taxes are simple with 1 uncommon, however not difficult line item) and both stated it would be a flat fee and/or not more than $150 to complete. There are so many other accountants out there--I'm definitely going to another one that believes in fair practices.If you also note, the majority of his positive reviews are over 6yrs old AND the reviews are "suspect" in a way --if you look at the number of reviews those reviewers have written are under 10 reviews vs reviewers who have written over 100+ reviews and are actually legitimate....

These guys/gals just rock. Nice, patient (anyone who deals with me must be patient), accurate, knowledgable, fast and fair. Highly recommend. I think I'm on my sixth year or so.

We had a really great experience with Larry and Tax Squad. He is BY FAR the most thorough accountant we've ever worked with, in a good way! He made us see how we had a lot of our accounts and side incomes set up in an inefficient way and advised us how to make it better for future tax years. He is extremely attentive over the phone and email and was great at explaining things whenever we had a question. I also referred him to a friend of mine late in the tax season (past normal deadline) and he did her taxes in just a couple days and saved her over $5,000 from what Turbotax recommended. Could not recommend Larry more, and will continue to do our taxes with him and his team for years to come!

Take your business elsewhere - these guys don't need it. In February, I reached out to them and didn't get a response until I nudged them again. I followed up as agreed upon and never heard anything again. I can't imagine how unresponsive they'd be during March or April, when it's an even busier tax time.

I don't know why I waited so long to write this review. We have been working with Larry and John for a few years now after having a terrible experience with H&R Block. They fixed a couple years of taxes that were screwed up by H&R Block. They are always available for any tax related questions through the year too. Their office also utilizes an online system that makes uploading all your documents super easy and convenient. Everything can be done online which is great for busy people. If you are lucky enough to get time with them, you won't be disappointed.
