Ken is a wizard. The first time I had my car in for service he went beyond and did a once over of the car. Imagine my surprise when he told me that the dealership hadn't looked at my spare tire in a very long time and it was almost completely flat. He went ahead and filled it to pressure.
The second time I brought the car in was to figure out why the engine was missing after recently had it serviced at the dealership. It took the use of a stethoscope and some other instruments, but he was able to locate a defective spark plug. You can get defective parts now and then from any source, but the thoroughness of his uncovering the culprit was again impressive.

Ken is excellent. Left my car with him at 7 AM and the car was ready midday. Great prices and customer service. I was not disappointed but exceedingly happy and feeling safe to drive my car. I will be back! Located near the train station just in case you need to get around. Cannot state how happy I am with this business.

I have brought my car to this business for many years. Ken was key to helping me keep my 20+ year old 4Runner working smoothly. Whenever I worried about the cost (which was quite reasonable compared to other garages) Ken would prioritize the repairs and maintenance for me so that I could figure out what I could afford now and what I could put off for a little while. Ken always takes the time to talk through what needs to be done, and patiently answers all my questions. Now that I have a new car, I still rely on Ken's expertise and honesty rather than having my car serviced at the local dealership.P.S. Posting an update to a review I posted earlier; still great business.Ken has been keeping our cars running smoothly for over a dozen years, ever since I got tired of being upsold or being given shady rationales for needed repairs at a dealer (these rationales never held up to questioning from me or my gearhead brother). He is clear on what needs to be done and only performs services which are truly needed. He has also handled minor issues via phone or a quick 5 minute intervention at the shop. Great local business; I'm happy to support it. Convenient location, too, right next to the Burlingame train station.Services: General repairs & maintenance
