I needed a little simple help with my sound system in my smart car. I did a quick search while I was down in Burlingame one day and found rock and roll. This guy is super stand up. I had no appointment, I just showed up and he stopped what he was doing and helped me. He solved my problem which was fairly simple in a few minutes and I was on my way. But that said, the real value here is the customer service. With the pandemic destroying businesses like these in large swaths, I was very happy to find this place. Great guy super knowledgeable, and if you have any old cars or hot rods, he's a specialist and electronic wiring in that sort of thing too. I wish I could recommend this place twice. Give him your money you won't go wrong.

I brought my 1969 GTO this place I wish I never did. First of all he does not have a sound room second of all he doesn't have any equipment there. You are going in blind and you're trusting this guy. I went to pick up my GTO he had the nerve to charge me $1000. He put a piece of crap little app on top of my stereo which he mounted under the dash. Two weeks later it fell out he just put some s*** screws in to the plastic underneath my dash. He put two tiny speakers next to each other up inside my dash. I could only turn it up halfway and it will start to crackle sound like s**** The stereo will always default and only the rear speakers would work I can't even figure out how to make the front ones work the whole thing was a disaster ..Ended up putting a new stereo and a new front speakers and what a waste of money I should've demanded my money back but I'm not that kind of guy I would never ever ever go to this guy again

Ron was awesome many years ago when doing the install of my stereo in my Jeep. He also had a bird in his office area and he had rescued it. Boy was that major points for me! Months later, he had several more. Anyway, my stereo is a bit complicated. The install was genius (completely anti theft) and Ron added all the right components (tweeters, woofer, amps etc) to the stock stereo that came with the jeep, so there was no need for any big changes or harmful cutting. TO RON:“Ron, I wanna come back so you can fully check the working conditions of this stereo. My husband has disconnected and reconnected wires over and over again, so I really would like you to look at it and tell me if it’s in its full functioning order. I don’t think that it is.Tx Ron!”Betti Duerr

Ron is the best car mechanic in the bay area!! He completely fixed my old Honda Civic's serious problems which nobody couldn't find out for a while. He is a truly reliable and sincere person, and I was so impressed with his care :). He always offers a reasonable price as well! I hope that more people will get to know about this amazing place.

Ron has been amazingly patient with my amp repair. I've tried two different amp installs so far. Ron has been very diligent and communicative with getting the sound system problem in my car resolved.

Ron did a great job on both of our Volvo Wagons. Pioneer radio, nave. Phone etc. sounds great and a real pleasure to work with. Over the years he has always done a fantastic job for us.

(May 20, 2019). Decided to try this place because of previous comments. Went in to get a quote for my daughters stereo which previous owners did a number on all the wires. Ron who is the Owner I believe took the time to look at it told us what needed to be done explained step by step and sent us on our way. Shocked? Indeed, why you ask? Because now a days you don't run into good folks like that. Not only did he earn my respect in those 2.5 seconds he earned a 5 star with a lot of recommendations from here on out! Thank you Ron for taking the time to explain to us.

Some lights were out in my dash and I finally decided to get it fixed. My mechanic recommended Rock & Roll. Ron took a look and told me I needed to special order the lights from the dealer. When I brought the lights back he told me it would be quick so I walked around downtown. When I came back everything was fixed and he told me it was super easy so no charge! When does that happen?! I'm used to car guys trying to do the up-sell or take advantage so it's really great when someone will be honest that it's a quick fix. I'd come back to Rock & Roll in a heartbeat.
