We recently purchased a used car with the help of Peter Thai at Putnam, and the experience was great. Peter was straightforward and easy to work with, making the process smooth and hassle-free. His no-nonsense approach and professionalism made us feel well taken care of throughout the entire process.

Service - Good experience once you can get an appointment. Bad experiences trying to get an appointments and unhelpful customer service experience with the scheduler.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Putnam Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership. Despite multiple visits and continued communication, the issues with my vehicle remain unresolved, and new problems have arisen due to service actions. Below are the specific issues I have encountered:
Brake Squeaks:
I have visited the service center three times to address the issue of squeaking brakes. Despite these visits, the problem persists. During my last visit, the brakes were merely lubricated, and the squeaking returned after two weeks.
Vehicle Damage:
During my last service visit, my vehicle sustained damage caused by the dealership's specialists. This damage includes the rear right bumper trim and fender, which have not been repaired despite assurances from the service team.
Failure to Fix Damage:
For over a month, I have been given various timelines and explanations about when the damage to my car will be fixed. Unfortunately, these promises have not been kept, and I feel I have been misled throughout this process.
No Replacement Vehicle:
The service on my vehicle took more than one day to complete, yet no replacement vehicle was provided, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my daily schedule.
Lack of Response:
Over the month, I have made numerous calls and sent messages regarding these issues, but I have not received responses to my last messages and calls. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.

The service is good, but it takes forever and is pretty expensive

After I drove my brand new Jeep Sahara 4xE off this lot, the salesman who said call for any questions never answered another of my emails or calls. I just had basic questions but couldn’t get anyone there to respond to me. I guess they’re done with you once you make your purchase.
Then I had an accident with the Jeep and they kept it in service for over 6 months to resolve the issue. It was insane. Shortly after that, numerous other parts were suddenly broken/failed for no obvious reason so the Jeep has been back in their shop for months. They claim this delay is due to backordered parts but I got notified they received the parts over a week ago and still haven’t prioritized my Jeep to be fixed. Again, this is insane.
This place has terrible service and quality. I will absolutely never buy a Jeep from them again and I may stop buying Jeeps in general moving forward because of the continued terrible experience I get with this dealership. My Jeep has been in their shop more than I’ve had it. Something is fundamentally broken here, and it’s them.

Just had a great sales experience, thanks to Scot Eichenbaum at Putnam CJDR. Scot was straightforward and knowledgable, but also went the extra mile throughout the transaction. Buying a car can be a stressful experience with tons of legalese and "gotcha" moments, but my experience with Scot and Putnam CDJR could not have been more painless. Special kudos to Oliver Leyva, the Putnam finance manager, as well.

Scot Eichenbaum is the person to work with, we had a complex trade to do and it took longer than expected (on our end) and we were able to work everything to what we needed. scheduled to come and finalize the details, our new car was ready.

I traveled a long distance to have Henry work on my Alfa Romeo Giulia. He did a great job at replacing the accessory drive belt, changing the oil and resetting the main maintenance light (which is a problem for most non-Alfa delerships and mechanics). He gave my car a thorough inspection with a quote for work that needs to be performed when parts become more available again. He generously replaced a couple under belly pan screws and fixed my rear seat fold-down latch too. Henry knows his way around Alfa Romeos. If I am able to in the future, I will visit him and his expertise again. Highly recommended.

two different visits and two different issues. 1st was not putting my cab filter back in after service, 2nd didn't rotate the tires after being billed for it and had to call them out on it .

If you have an Alfa that needs service, Henry is hands down THE guy in the bay area that you want to take your car to. He is passionate, extremely professional and detail oriented. He serviced my car like no other technician and delivered outstanding results and customer experience!

Do not come here for service, they couldn't diagnose the problem with my 4wd but were happy to follow a flow chart of parts to replace, with no guarantee any would solve problem with my 4wd. The labor and parts are marked up by ridiculous amounts. They said they fixed a rattling and of course it was not. To top it off they didn't even put back trim pieces they removed. Thumbs down.

Needed recall service on a Ram 3500 Promaster van. One dealer said they couldn't work on those (too big), but Putnam said they did and took an appointment and said the repair could be done while I waited. Drove 40 minutes to get there and the service department said they couldn't work on those vehicles. So Scheduling doesn't know what they can and can't work on, and Service doesn't check their appointments in advance to understand what they've got scheduled. It speaks to a lack of care for their (potential) customers that they're willing to waste our time and money, and take no ownership for their incompetence.

I brought in my Fiat 500 with a few issues and this dealership wanted $17,500 to fix everything. A ridiculous figure. They didn’t offer any creative solutions to bring down costs but once I spent time with them they agreed some repairs could be simplified. The seat cable could be swapped ($500) instead of a new seat ($3500) for example. My local repair shop offered pricing at half the price or less. For the seat he pointed me to a used seat online and for $500 that was a better solution.

I feel these guys hold your car way too long then come up with ridiculous prices for parts and labor. Except tires, we bought 4 and there great tires around 800 or 900 and had like new car feel to it again.
