Was looking for a quick grab of coffee before heading out to explore around. Arneat was so generous in giving us a discount! Its located near Arts district and gets pretty quiet at night- perfect for studying or getting some work done. We got Cafe latte and mexican mocha with almond milk and it tasted toasty, nutty, and spicy. Will come back for more when im around the area! Thanks Groundwork coffee!

I loved the sandwiches which were made at Oak Grove Market. But they have moved and no longer make sandwiches. ? Sad

Integrity and friendliness come to mind when I do business with this store and owner. As Zig Zigler said; "Honesty and integrity are by far the most important assets of an entrepreneur." The store relocated right down the street past Duckey's Car Wash on California. Map link: Steve listens to customers and often will make sure my favorite items are in the store. The prices are very reasonable which is not always the case for smaller stores. Keep up the good work and thanks for contributing to our communities. We need more businesses like you.

Love our neighborhood market. They've saved us so many times when we've needed some staples. I love how they have Backhaus bread! Friendly staff.

Nice little neighborhood market that I happened upon while looking for someplace within walking distance (and not 7-11). I saw this market on the map, checked out the Yelp reviews and saw great reviews (with one noted exception where the reviewer was very much in the wrong simply based on his review, the owner's honest, factual, lengthyand well written reply). That sealed the deal! Went for a walk to checkout this place and I was in need of milk... It's an ample neighborhood market. I was expecting higher prices but was pleasantly surprised. Sure the prices are a tad more than Safeway but not by much. The deli area looked very good; I'll have to come back for some mortadella or a sandwich. There is a sign posted at the checkout in clear view stating there is a $5 minimum for credit card use. That's pretty standard and I was shocked it was not $10 or $15 as most places are. I happily paid cash for my purchase and had a pleasant conversation with the owner. I'll be back to support this local business! Written from my phone; please excuse any typos or possible autocorrect.

I wanted to share a bad experience about this store and the dishonest owner who takes advantage of BHS school kids. I sent my son to buy a bottle of juice, the price was $3.50 but the owner charged my son $4.00. When asked for a receipt, he refused to provide one. I went inside the store to talk to the owner, he said he charges $.50 extra for using credit card. This is something I never heard of. I am a business owner and I never penalized customers for the convenience of using a credit card. This is also in violation of MasterCard and visa agreements. I called Burlingame PD and filed a police report to document this misbehaving owner. It's not the .50 but the idea of taking advantage of young kids. I will never go again to this store and I suggest you review your receipt (if you get one!) to make sure this owner did not cheat you.

Good place to get some of your favourite Brit food and sweeties. Little on pricey side but that's how it is on the peninsula. Methinks it's a good wee shop.

Steve is the nicest man and so are his employees. Very convenient to walk down the street to pick up what I need.
