I find Richard as very accommodating, truthful and direct to the point; sad to say, unlike the branch manager in one of the jewelry stores I've been to ... she goes around the bush to win you; to make more money and yet doesn't keep her word!

Worked with Richard at Nuance Jewelers to create a custom ring using my great grandfathers diamond. They were wonderful to work with and made the most beautiful finely crafted ring with a great turn around time. Excited to have an heirloom to pass onto the next generation. Thank you again!

Richard was exceptionally helpful in helping me get a ring that was perfect for me. He had a ring in the store that wasn't quite right. He offered to bring in other sapphires for me to look at. I ended up finding the perfect stone from the selection he brought in and now I couldn't be happier!! I'm already dreaming of the next piece I want to do with him. Highly recommend!

Richard and his Jewelry team are of the highest quality one can possibly find. He helped us custom design our Wedding rings 22 years ago, and as age, and a very d*** entanglement with our garbage disposal accident, he and his team brought my ring back to new! Absolutely amazing. They re-used the original 18K Gold and Platinum, re-worked & re-built the ring, and also sharpened the sapphire to brand new. It is 1999 again! I would encourage any and all to visit, and trust Richard and his Nuance team. THANK YOU Richard, and please avoid your Garbage Disposal with your Jewelry!

Needed an appraisal for my engagement ring and found this place on yelp. I called and Richard was able to accommodate us on the same day. What a genuine, knowledgeable and sincere man! We brought our diamond certification and he was able to tell us the cut, color, carat and clarity of my center stone, SPOT ON, without looking at the certificate! My fiancé and I were in awe, and it was such a fun experience watching Richard tell us what the diamond is as we compare it to the certificate I was holding. Most importantly, he took time to listen to our engagement story, our main reason for the appraisal, and we were able to tell him our concerns about the diamond, how to get proper insurance, and if we really got the value we paid for. We walked out of his office happy, confident and with peace of mind. I was able to get an insurance policy right away because of Richard's quick response, and accurate appraisal. Thank you so much, we'll definitely come back!

I needed some repairs and sizing, I had been to another Jewelry store and was not happy with many things. So decided not to use them. I have looked in this window many times. Decided to see about my repairs. So glad I did! Richard is so kind and knows his craft. My repairs are being done with a better price and feels like more expertise then I was being told elsewhere. I've been looking for a new Jeweler and I've found it! No not wearing a lot of my Jewelry during this pandemic! But I sure will be when its over and I'll be ready! Everyone needs to get ready to sparkle!

I brought my fiancé's great-grandmother's ring - a family heirloom - to Nuance to be resized. Richard resized the ring to be a perfect fit, and also reset the stone & added material to strengthen what was a pretty thin band. Excellent craftsmanship and great customer service - we'll be back!

I inherited a few of my late Grandmother's rings a few years ago. Sadly, they have sat in my jewelry box as they were "not quite my style". I had always wanted to take the rings and have them made into something else , but a part of me felt like I would be desecrating my lovely Grandmother's memory. Nuance Design Artisan, Richard Weiner , embodied charm, compassion, and confidence that he could transform my beloved Grandmothers rings into something I could and would want to wear daily . The result brought tears to my eyes . My Grandmother's diamonds now lay close to my heart in an absolute perfect and dainty pendant, (much more my style), and I feel fanciful and complete with the results . Luckily I still have diamonds left over , which I cannot wait to see what Nuance Design will perfect for me next. I highly recommend Nuance Design for their astounding, friendly, attentive , and timely designs . I'll be back !

Wow, I can't express how happy I am with Richard and his work at Nuance Design Jewelers. Having received a ring with A loose diamond In A tricky setting, we wanted to make sure we found a skilled jeweler we could trust. We spent an afternoon in Burlingame and went to 5 different jewelers on the block. each told us a very different story about what was causing the diamond to be loose and how to fix it. Some offered expensive methods that involved taking the whole ring apart, while other offered generic methods all which didn't seem like they would really fix the issue. We finally made our way to Richard's office where he thoroughly examined the ring and gave us an answer that made sense and an excellent method to fix it. He was so friendly and honest. No only did he find out exactly what the problem was but he explained the ethos he would use to fix it and all at a very reasonable price for the repair. With it being the holidays, (which is a very busy time for jewelers) he still gave us a short timeline to get the ring, and he even beat his deadline by 3 days! He communicated with us the whole time and fixed the ring wonderfully. I am so pleased am amazed with the incredible service, expert knowledge and personal touch he puts into his work Richard provided. I would trust him with any jewelry and would feel assured he is honest and offers reasonable prices. While I hope to never have a repair done again, if I ever need to, I won't hesitate to return to Richard at Nuance Jewelry Designers.

I took a couple of old rings that I had made in the 80s and I had Richard recreate a new ring. It came out beautiful. His Jeweler is fantastic. He has a great eye for beauty in a ring and created something that was so fantastic that I am just flabbergasted at how well it came out. I would recommend everyone to at least check his store out and see what he could do for you.

My experience with Richard at Nuance has been fantastic. He reset a pair of earrings that were given to me and I absolutely love them ! The turn around time was quick and his pricing was extremely reasonable and fair. Richard also helped my husband and me with our engagement ring setting upgrade - the quality of the rings were absolutely superb!

5 stars is an understatement. Richard is the best. He brought together two pieces of jewelry that had sentimental value and made one beautiful ring. I am so happy with the ring. I can't say enough about how nice and patient he was to work with.
