We thought we have found the right place to buy&return snow chains as we didn’t know if we would need it on our two weeks journey. We explained we are returning the car in LA. We were told it’s not a problem, we just have to find a company owned store. We called a customer service. 1 employee gave us an address of a close by CO store at Burbank LA. We called to Burbank and they told us it is impossible to return it anywhere, that is an internal NAPA policy not to accept snow chains (even unused). We called customer service again. Employee 2 called Burbank again and confirmed, we can’t return. Only back in SF where we bought it or to fill in some kind of complaint, for what we didn’t have time because we are leaving USA in about 3 days. We took time to think. We called again, employee 3 confirmed the only chance to return the snow chains back in SF. That was about 5! hours of drive in a complete opposite direction. Now we have to head back to LA! So around 10 extra! hours on the way, spent in the car instead our original plan. We got the money back in SF, we asked the employee how is it possible, we could it return it elsewhere, he never heard of that. So we wonder who lied to us, who was so terribly misinformed to let us drive all the way back to SF (from close to the Death Valley) and than back south to LA? How is something like that even possible? Who’s going to pay for the gasoline and our time? We lost one whole day of our holidays and around 2 hour of calls to the customer service only to be told lies or misinformation? Never again.

These guys are old school and knowledgeable and will be sble to help you out with just about anything and i return here often to get stuff that i cant aquire elsewhere so yeah recommended highly

Matt was very knowledgeable on working with me to order parts on an older car. Even found the parts Napa didn't have and ordered them for me. Its hard finding a good place to work with when you are working on your car. He definitely saved the day and I'll be coming back.....

This is the worst place for parts in Burlingame, no one is available to help, also the day I was there. The guy that was attending costumers was busy chatting away with his friend I stood in line just to realize that 2 persons after me were getting service, the only notable thing was that I’m brown vs all white costumers and people offering service. I’m thinking of suing

Picked up some gear oil and two stroke oil. Two gentlemen at their own cashier stations. Put items on counter, waited. One was on personal phone Internet and one reading newspaper. NO response from either. Left items on counter and I left store. I too will use my personal phone Internet to buy items from supplier, not Napa. Why go to work guys?

rear differential bearing shim Last week we were replacing outer rear differential bearings on my work truck. When we took it apart the bearing shim was broken with is probably the reason the bearings went out. I searched all over for that shim and noone could help. I traveled all around the Bay Area looking for this shim. I finally ended up at Napa Auto Parts in Burlingame and Ken and Mike were just amazing. First they identified the part for me which noone else could. They then sent me to the GMC dealership across the street to get the part number. GM said they came in 7 different sizes and GM left it up to me to figure that out. I took the one part that I had back to Ken and Mike and with a micrometer they were able to identify which one I needed. They helped me order what I needed and now I will be receiving my parts tomorrow. The only other option for me would have been to send my old work van to the dealership and probably spend $3000 to fix a van that is only worth about $5000. Thanks to Ken and Mike I just might get another 6 months out of this van until I buy a new one. If you're ever stuck on an automotive job and you're not sure what to do, dont waste your time, go straight to Napa Auto Parts in Burlingame and ask for Ken or Mike.
