Me and my family how ere visiting from London had a VERY unpleasant experience with this owner — as soon as we walked in she made us feel uncomfortable (and we dress super professional). When we walked in we asked her where the dresses are and she directed us in an unprofessional manner and hand gesture as if we were bothering her.
My cousin picked up a skirt and the owner immediately walked over grabbed it from her and said it’s not for sale.
At this point my aunt was upset and told her she’s very unprofessional w a lack of service. We are customers not the other way around. We’ve spent SO MUCH at her store before.

Great variety and truly high end brands!

The lady that works here is rude. With so many nice people and other great shops on B Ave. no need to waste your time here.

This is the best place around here to purchase high end workout clothes in excellent used condition for a reasonable price. I think the owner is nice, I just come in knowing what I am looking for. Other places are overpriced and worn out with piling in the leggings. The first time I came in it was a so-so experience but she was still nice at the check out. They have a lovely collection of shoes and handbags as well. I've found a hidden gem!

Wow, after reading the reviews, I felt compelled to write a review to balance out some of the negative reviews. I've been shopping at Millie Mango for years and they have the absolutely best resale clothes around. They have a huge stock of current designers and beautifully maintained clothes (that look like new but in most cases appear to be about 1/3 the cost) and I literally find something just about every time I go. They also have some gorgeous vintage clothes, such as coats. I get so many compliments on the dresses, tops, sweaters, coats, purses, and more that I have bought there over the years. And anecdotally, I've never seen the owner or staff be anything but friendly to everyone in the store. I actually like how chill the owner, Lori is - I hate when clothing store owners and staff hover, asking you constantly what you are looking for or how you liked something after you tried it on. Lori seems to allow people to shop at their leisure. I definitely recommend this gem.

0 stars! I actually been to this store about 3 times total. In my 34 years of living, I've never experienced such blunt discrimination. I walked in to meet my mom, who had a head start of looking around the store while I bought my son a snack next door. She even saw my mom and I chatting as my mom was on the fence of purchasing a Longchamps purse in the store (which unfortunately, she bought prior to our altercation with Lori. I went to look at the purses displayed by the shoes in the corner of the store, pushing my stroller that my son was in. My son was sitting pretty well and watching his programs on his iPad. And I just caught Lori staring at me and my son. I stood there awhile staring back, seeing if she'd offer to help with something if that's what she intended on doing staring at me. Instead, silence from her end and just looking at me from head to toe with DISGUST, then over to my son HEAD TO TOE with disgust and moving her head around like she's looking for something in my stroller or something around us apparently. Which then, I proceed to ask "well, can I help you?" And she responds defensively and laughs "CAN YOU HELP ME???" And I said yes, well you're staring at me up and down, and with disgust at that. And she goes well, It just seemed he needed of some assistance? So one, my son who is clearly distracted and behaving at that looks like he needs assistance. And me generally browsing (not even touching) any items because both my hands are pushing the stroller look like I was interested in something to get assistance? Also, you confirmed the hard staring by validating that you in fact were looking because I needed of some assistance that I never asked for. And yes Lori, you even said there's a full room of people and customers. So why was I a target? Everyone else were holding clothing items and holding bags they were interested in and I was briefly looking because my mother bought something from your store. And if your intent was to help, why didn't you ask when we caught eye contact and instead just proceeded to look me and my son up and down and all around my stroller. Now I walked off to meet my mom and was so upset. I told her what had happened, and Lori walked over following us out. I confronted her about it and said, " well, I'm really not surprised. The reviews are reflective of what I've experienced" and she said "unfortunate it's based off of assumption". My elderly mother, who's disabled at that, was so upset and said "be nice!" walking out, and Lori UNBELIEVABLY proceeded to say, "SHUT UP" and slammed the door. I was like.... wow to a customer that just gave you business?! And a disabled senior at that. To take disrespect is one thing, but to witness both my 3-year old son and mother be disrespected... I opened the door and asked what her name was. And she said you don't need to know my name."SHUT UP" coming from a store owner. HAHAHA that shouldn't even come from an employee, period. Let alone a store owner. No class. You can be white, tall, skinny. That means nothing. So get over your little power trip, Lori.I hope everyone in the store witnessed what happened. Disgusting... not even as a store owner but as a person. Lori, thanks to you, I've experienced racism for the first time in my 34 years of life. At least a clear cut, obvious one that Lori showed. I have been treated with more respect going to a Louis Vuitton or Chanel store than this second-hand thrift store lol. Unfortunate she discriminates. She's losing paying customers who can more than afford what's being sold here. I actually love buying and collecting luxury brands, new or used... but can never support a company that has poor, trashy owners and management like this. I'm not one to leave any bad or negative reviews if I simply didn't like or favor a place, restaurant, store, etc. and leave as is. BUT this experience gave me no choice but to advocate for what's right. An

I recently visited Millie Mango, and I am appalled by the treatment I received as a customer. My child and I were subjected to blatant social profiling and racist behavior, which left us feeling humiliated and disrespected. From the moment we walked into the store, I noticed that we were being closely watched. It was evident that the store employee's attention was solely focused on us, while numerous other customers were left unbothered. This was an uncomfortable experience that no customer should have to endure. To make matters worse, I overheard the employee whispering to a coworker, making derogatory remarks about me based on my ethnicity. Referring to me as "Mexican" when I am actually Filipino is not only offensive but also highlights their ignorance and lack of cultural awareness. The fact that this behavior was happening within earshot of customers is absolutely unacceptable. But the worst part was when the employee made an incredibly inappropriate comment, suggesting that my child and I were lucky not to have been deported yet. This kind of racial insensitivity is not something I would expect from any establishment, let alone a thrift store where people from all walks of life come to shop. The experience at Millie Mango has left a lasting impact on me and my child. We should be able to visit a store without being judged or treated unfairly based on our ethnicity. The staff's behavior reflects poorly on the store's management and raises questions about their commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and basic human decency.I strongly urge Millie Mango to address this issue promptly. Racist behavior should never be tolerated, and it is crucial for the management to provide sensitivity training to their employees to prevent such incidents from happening again. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of their background. As for potential customers, I would caution against supporting a store that condones or allows such discriminatory behavior. There are plenty of other thrift stores in the area where you can shop comfortably and without fear of being singled out based on your race or ethnicity.I hope that by sharing my experience, it brings attention to the urgent need for Millie Mango to address this issue and create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers.

I love popping in to a Millie Mango, and my experience has always been positive. Over the years I've purchased a couple of dresses, a pair of jean, tops, skirts and a scarf. The items get compliments! The quality and service have been great and keep me coming back.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I made an appointment with Lori last week. I showed up for my appointment and she was running late, store was closed. I had to wait outside with all my stuff. She finally showed up and she couldn't remember that we had an appointment. She picked about 10 items and I was on the fence about my Valentino shoes, so I said I would think about it and bring them back if I decided to sell. She said "it's a package deal" and decided not to take any of it. Horrible customer service and quite honestly, not a good selection of "high end" clothes.

Literally walked through this entire store before the person working there even lifted her head to acknowledge me. Not thanks.

If I could put zero stars I would! Worst customer service! Rude staff. I asked to look at the channel bag and immediately was told with the price and right when I was about to check the bag she hold it back and told me to be gentle because its lamb skin which I know. I havent touch the bag yet and obv i wouldnt be aggressive while checking it out. Ive been to channel stores and no staff ever treated me like this. I asked for LV bag and she didnt even show it to me and just told me price with her sassy attitude. DONT GO HERE!

Asked to see a vintage Chanel bag today and was immediately told the price was 4k (I was literally wearing my own Chanel bag at the time). Based on the previous reviews, seems like this is recurring behavior from the owner? However, she was nice and informative after that and let me try it on. Other than that, store has decent selection of items. I would go again to try to score some steals or finds.

I love this store. Every time I go in I find the cutest clothes, shoes and handbags. The owner is super sweet and helped me try on several shoes and choose the perfect ones for my upcoming trip in July. She was also very patient with me which I appreciate because I have trouble hearing people’s voices at times. I plan to sell my beautiful Michelle watch that I don’t need anymore at her store. Love, love, love high end consignment and this store is amazing!

What type of store doesn't allow others to try out clothes? Because of our size? My mother was trying to get a Burbery shirt for a special occasion and when she asked the owner of the place her response was "you way too big for the shirts." Did she ask that? Why are you going to body shame someone who asked you a question. Not only that she was discriminating her because of her race. Don't go this place unless you are a "skinny white person."
