I've been training with Jean on and off for past couple of years, as my travel schedule allows. I enjoy the small group training environment, because you form the comradery that helps motivate the whole group. The groups are much smaller than typical gym classes, so that I get plenty of one on one instruction time. This is important for me, because I have recurring right knee pain from an old soccer injury, so I'm always asking for guidance on how to improve my condition and alternate exercises that won't aggravate my knee. Jean is very knowledgeable and I'm happy to say my knee has improved under her guidance. I will continue to enjoy her positive teaching style and my improved health.

Jean has shown me that at home work outs are possible, even if you only have 5-10 minutes. Something is better than nothing and I can even do a workout in my kitchen while cooking dinner (counter pushups, single leg deadlifts and squats). Jean has also shown me that an injury shouldn't stop me from being consistent at working out. She provided me two modified workout routines while I was dealing with an ankle injury. Ironically she was dealing with her own injury and her persistence in maintaining her work outs encouraged me to persist and provide daily updates of my progress. With Jean's encouragement I have been much more consistent with exercise than I ever was with a gym membership.

I've been a member for over a year now. This place is addictive. I'm there three times a week consistently. The coaches are on top of coaching us regards of the level. This allow me to make progress and not feel intimidated by not doing the RX. The classes are small yet the community is a tight. It's been transformative doing CrossFit at Marvelous.

I started training with Jean when I was 3 months pregnant. She helped me transition from harder workouts in the early pregnant days to easier ones as I got bigger! I managed to stay in shape throughout the pregnancy and lost the baby weight very quickly due to Jean's great workouts! The classes are fairly small allowing Jean to provide extra 1:1 service even in group sessions.

Was referred to Jean over two years ago and love the small training groups with enough personal attention to get the job done correctly. Having others to work out with is encouraging and promotes camaraderie. Jean also mixes up the work out programmes to keep it interesting. And to top it all she is knowledgeable in providing alternative exercises if one happens to have any physical ailments.

I have been a member at Marvelous for over 2 years now. The staff and the community are both top-notch. If you want a great community and a great work-out, you'll find both here. Whether you're a serious Cross-fitter or just looking to be healthier in a coached/class environment, there are great options for you. The programming is well-done. The coaches are extremely involved, attentive and committed. I've been to plenty of gyms where the coaches "clock in" for class. You will never see that here. No eating, no phones during class....they are 100% engaged with the athletes (yes, you are an athlete too :-)). They are constantly evaluating their approach and its fit with the community. Safety is always a #1 priority as is programming that gets results but is fun. The community is very inclusive - you won't feel like an outsider when you come try a class. I'm a huge fan and very appreciative of having Marvelous in my life!

I have belonged to two other Crossfit gyms and travel a lot and I have literally never seen a coaching staff and programming so top-notch. The program at MPA is best-in-class. The coaches are very in-tune with the community and they run a safe, effective and really fun program. The variety of classes they offer is quite broad for a Crossfit-based gym. There is something for everyone. I am a Crossfit athlete so I really appreciate the lifting classes - the coaches spend a lot of time with each individual. The gym also hosts a number of community events. We just did a month of "Coaches' WODs" on Friday nights and the gym was literally maxed out (safely). To me, that says it all - when you have a group of people that want to spend their time together, working out on a Friday night...you have a good thing going. I'm super thankful to have MPA in my life. #Iammarvelous.
