I used to love this shop and I've spent a pretty penny here but for the third time in recent weeks the staff at this store have failed to follow thru with promises to find out-of-stock items in other Margaret O'Leary stores when their computer system shows availability. Promises were made multiple times to call me back with info or to contact the other stores. Honestly, the staff seems completely inept and they have lost my business. There is an older woman working in the Burlingame store who just seems confused and extremely forgetful. My most recent attempt was today for an exchange of a defective item that I received from their online shop. This time it was a young sales person who completely dropped the ball. The quality of the the clothing has also definitely deteriorated. Cannot recommend this company. Service is terrible.

ITEMS: "M.o.l." Has the softest knits ever - feels like a luxurious warm hug. Everything else in the store is most top notch quality. The leather goods and cashmere were totally worth it for me. (No point in buying itchy cashmere at a cheaper price..) - this cashmere is actually SOFT like clouds. If you think of it as "cost per wear" it's worth it. SERVICE: Sam was helpful from beginning to end with my purchase and even helped deliver items to my home that weren't in store. Appreciated her expertise and styling tips! She helped me narrow down to what I really wanted. It's as if she knows me better than I know myself with the styling choices!

I love Margaret O'Leary clothing. Recently I find that I cannot wear cashmere so the cotton tops and sweater are a blessing. I shopped in Burlingame on October 10, 2019 in the morning. The customer service at this store was just awful. The sales woman asked if I had any questions. When I told her I was looking for cotton tees and sweaters, she told me they were scattered throughout the store. She then went back to her paperwork, or whatever she was doing. There were no other customers in the store the entire time I was shopping. I literally had to look through every stack of clothing to find cotton tops in my size. She was completely unhelpful. This service was in stark contrast to the Margaret O'Leary store in Boston I visited earlier this year where the sales woman found EVERY cotton sweater and tee shirt in the store and brought them to my dressing room for me to try on.

really unhelpful salesgirl/cashier - ignored us from the moment we walked in (only one other customer in the store the whole time we were in there) & had to practically beg her to look into finding purses at the other o'leary stores. i would not recommend shopping here unless you don't care about customer service!
