I was warmly greeted by Ruri when I first walked in for my appointment. I didn't have any intention of buying that day, but had been in the market for a Datejust with a blue dial. To my surprise, there was one available in Mint Green, which was a more subtle and classic look than the blue - something I likely needed all along without ever knowing.
Ruri was very knowledgeable, informative, and patient with me until I ultimately decided to get this one. She was never pushy on the purchase, but quickly became a trusted advisor who opened my eyes to the versatility of the watch and color, which could be downplayed on more professional occasions.
With Ruri's 8 years of experience at Kern's, as well as her ability to connect with customers (and the rest of my family) in a meaningful way, I felt comfortable purchasing my very first Rolex here and specifically from her. I will cherish this watch and the overall experience and will be back again for another timepiece eventually, as a result - thank you, Ruri!

Called this place inquiring about an appointment and a specific watch. The lady that first answered the phone was very nice, but said that she needed to get me someone to tell me if the watch that I was looking for was in stock at the store. (She was lovely and the only reason I am giving this place two stars.) After she put me on hold a man, whose name he either did not give or I did not hear, answered the phone. I asked if there were any appointments available and told him which watch I was looking for, he proceeded to say uggh we have that one to look at but not buy, ugh. I asked if they had a different watch color perhaps, said ugh, I don’t know, I interrupted a client to talk to you, I don’t know what we have. I simply said ok bye. To that person, I was a potential client, and I hope you don’t continue to lose potential clients. I also hope that his attitude was only because may be he was rushing and not because the watch I was looking for was less than 15k. I don’t know how this place has so many wonderful reviews, may be this person was having a day.

Best place to get your watch service! I brought my Rolex for a complete movement overhaul and replaced the crystal face... Great Service, friendly and professional staff. Jay showed me some great time pieces and can not wait to buy my next watch from Kern's!

From a newcomer in the world of watches, my experience with Maura was nothing short of exceptional. Despite my limited knowledge, she was incredibly patient, thorough, and took the time to educate me on the Rolex brand and their timepieces. Over the course of a few weeks, she helped me narrowed down my preferences and ultimately surprised me with my first Rolex. What a lovely store and friendly staff! I scheduled a same day appointment to have my watch resized and they were so accommodating and professional. I appreciate the security and high level of customer service. I highly recommend this location for shopping or repair needs, and I will definitely return for any future jewelry purchases I may have.

They don’t let you wishlist your desired Rolex like other stores.
It’s a nice store with friendly staff as the other reviews say. But, unfortunately they have stopped wishlisting Rolex due to the high demand.
That’s understandable, but disappointing given that there is a store nearby in Palo Alto which lets you wishlist and so does almost any other boutique I have been to.
If you are someone like me who drove 40+ mins to visit their store, I would save the trip as they don’t let you wishlist your desired Rolex.

So I bought a Rolex Submariner in 1990 in SF (RIP Sidney Mobell) while I was in the Marines. I BEAT that thing like the tool watch it is. Early summer 2023 it was in desperate need of service. I brought it to Kerns as they were closest to me. It needed to be rebuilt. When I picked it up I met Chris C. and told him I was interested in a GMT Pepsi first choice and all gold second choice. I also told him that I wasn't a big fan of 'display only watches' which is a Rolex thing not a Kerns thing. Chris called mid summer and told me that a gold GMT was available which I bought. Late summer a friend was wearing a James Cameron Deep Sea which really caught my eye so I put that on the want list....right before Christmas I got a call from Chris and now I guess I'm a collector. However, I'm still waiting on the Pepsi GMT. I feel I have to say one more thing...I don't look like a typical Rolex watch wearer, I'll leave it at that. Most of my interactions with Chris/Kerns Team have been after work. I'm a construction engineer, I typically wear boots, jeans, polos and they are often not clean. When I first met Chris I came to look at watches. He didn't know I had a Rolex in for repair. I was wearing a G-Shock and dressed as described above. Chris and all the Kerns Team treated me as if I was a well dressed banker....with dignity and respect. I appreciate that I'm a lifelong customer.

Laura is a gem. Such a seamless and warm experience we had today at Kerns to purchase a Rolex for my father in law's 50th birthday. Laura was not only knowledgeable but also very welcoming and warm toward us. It truly made the experience very positive and makes me personally want to go back for any future special purchases. So glad my husband and brother in law lucked out on finding this place. And a big thank you to Laura for taking care of us! I am certain that my father in law who is the most selfless person in the world, will love his gift! Thank you Kerns!

First and foremost, If you're looking to purchase your very 1st Rolex and have done research & "hunting" (yes you read that right) you should already know it's almost impossible to acquire one without prior purchase as priority goes to clientele and supply is very limited compared to demand.I've gone to few Rolex authorized dealers in my area and was proactive on visiting & calling which took a lot of patience but had no luck. I've felt like I was brushed off as I'm young & had no prior purchase. But last week, I'm so glad I made the drive to Kerns! Out of all ADs they had the best showroom & most exhibition. I was helped by Josette whom I'm very grateful for. She was knowledgeable,warm & patient. Not just that! She went out of the way & made the impossible possible. Let's leave it at that. I got my very first Rolex that day. On my first visit without prior purchase and let me tell you this!!! I got the exact model,size,dial & material I wanted no compromise at all. Like are you ****** me. I was blushing,shaking and over the moon when she said I can purchase it. What an exhilarating experience after my previous visits with other boutiques! I will definitely be a loyal customer and I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Seriously! Thank you Kerns! & Josette! P.S My watch was my fiancé's supposedly wedding gift to me.
