Beautiful location overlooking the bay. Wonderful walk along the bay. Staff is always friendly, kind, and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is delicious. The *only* downside is that most guests, probably like you, are heading to the airport in the morning. Some have very early flights. Thus, heavy loud doors are slamming early in the morning. That said, we have found no where better before a morning flight. We will be back in a few months. ❤

This was the 2nd time my family and I have stayed for a reunion. I must say this time I was highly disappointed. Definitely not the same from our initial stay. The beds seemed to have gotten smaller than our last stay (all of my family members agreed). Our room smelled when we walked in and there was someone else’s fake finger nail on the floor in the living room area. None of the plugs were working to accurately charge our phones. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. Management really needs to have them retrained. The only thing I must say was a plus for this trip was the breakfast and happy hour incentive that they offered. Other than that, highly disappointing stay compared to our initial visit.

Upgraded to a Bay View room. Totally worth it. The views are amazing. Great location, with a walking trail along the water to another restaurant. Made to order complimentary breakfast was great. Beautiful hotel and great experience. Will definitely stay again.
Rooms: Room was spacious. Got a King sized bed. Love that it has a separate living space and bedroom.

Very pretty location. You get to see the planes landing at SFO. The rooms are a bit dated but otherwise the hotel was pretty nice. They have a nice buffet breakfast with an omelette bar that has a lot of options. Can't go wrong for the price point

Review updates. It was a five star review until something happened this morning. This is what is going on. Our room housekeeper knocked on our door twice in the morning. The second time is at 11:00am. She didn't even wait for our response and opened our room door with her key! The lady laughed as she said she was sorry. Incredibly insecuire! This was a huge and disturbing surprise. This made us feel that the hotel wanted us to check out as soon as possible, and the check-out time was 12:00 noon. I reported this situation to the front desk staff. Our room was 522.
So, before this incident, everything was so good. We felt welcome and relaxed.
Big and friendly hotel. They allowed us to leave our suitcases at the front desk for free and let us check in early for free. Some facilities are older but well maintained.

First off I want to say I'm not a big fan of leaving reviews like this. This is sent out as a warning to customers staying at this hotel. There's a few goods, but the bads have ruined the stay at this location. The view is beautiful. The atrium is wonderful to sit in and just de-stress. I definitely was planning on staying there again until everything went down the crapper. I had to check out a day early due to my employment and when I went down to try to check out the lady at the front desk was rude and looked like she didn't enjoy your job at all. She had a massive line of people(out the door) checking in and was the only person working at the front desk(not quite sure of that when the morning is usually one of the busiest times because of people checking out) so I understand that she was probably frustrated but she wasn't handling it very well. I decided to come back later to give her time to deal with the massive line, being the only employee. When I did come back the hotel charged me a $50 early checkout fee which I think is ridiculous because it was before the checkout time cut off. I then checked out and went on my day. The next day I woke up and found that I was charged that night at full price even though I had checked out the day before and I did not stay there. So not only did they charge me an early departure fee they also charged me for the night that I was departing from. Now, one of the biggest issues with this hotel is, no one answers the phone. You will spend a half an hour going through their little menus that just keep repeating over and over again which I think is funny because when I called the Hilton customer service line, the person helping me came back on the line multiple times to explain to me that she was cut off or couldn't get through the repeating menu and to just keep holding so she could try to get through to the hotel. So if you have any issues you're going to spend a lot of your day frustrated as hell trying to get through to somebody there to fix the problem, but then when you do get through they're going to tell you they don't have a manager on duty to handle the situation that someone has to call you back. That is what I was told and the Hilton representative was told. So at this point I am sitting here waiting for a manager to call me back to fix the situation at 8:00 in the morning on a work day(which I don't quite understand how you run a massive hotel like this backed by Hilton and you don't have a manager on staff during the checkout times when the most problems are going to come up). So between the fact that they don't have the proper staffing, they don't have a manager on duty when you need it the most, the employees are rude, and they charge you all these excessive fees which are not needed and then charge you for the room anyway, I would say that there needs to be some things looked at it this hotel and I want to warn the people staying there to make sure your bill is right before you leave or you're going to be in for a crappy morning the next day. All of this is a shame because this hotel is actually a nice place to stay if you didn't have all the issues to deal with.

Snack offerings felt lacking and many amenities felt overpriced for their value.

What a horrible experience staying at this hotel and the room was filthy and gross. Hair on the bathroom floor and bed was so uncomfortable. I would NEVER stay there again if needing to stay close to the airport.

The breakfast room is inadequate, the breakfast is not good and the missing ingredients are not replenished.

We loved this place. It was a great location to go out and do things. Breakfast buffet and omelette station were amazing. The happy hour is a great idea and we have been to a few by embassy, this location could step it up as far as the happy hour snacks. We loved the bartender at the tavern. He was amazing. Made us feel like family. They were able to upgrade us to a bay view and we were very happy with the view and early check in.
Rooms: The suits are very spacious.

Overall good but breakfast? Oh boy. Had to wait like 45 minutes in the omelette line. Finally gave up and settled for continental breakfast.

Food & drinks: Happy hour snacks need an upgrade. Sad-looking veggies. Same snack mix, chips, and salsa.
Noteworthy details: Needs a upgrade. Starting to look its age. The atrium, hallways, and rooms were full of flies.
Happy hour and omelet lines were very long.
