Beryl Alcala is a fantastic designer. She listens deeply to understand my preferences, and makes good suggestions where appropriate. In fact, she has given so much great ideas on how to make the design not only beautiful but equally functional. I definitely recommend Beryl to anyone wanting to have their spaces designed for a closet system.
The installing team led by Augie was also great, very professional and clearly know what they were doing. Generally, the installation was without any issue. They cleaned up after they have finished, which is very much appreciated. We had an unfortunate incident with one of the team members who I called on after seeing him sitting/resting on one of our moving boxes. The next day, he dropped an equipment on our brand new hard wood floor causing a bit of damage. Augie notified us immediately since we did not see the incident. I appreciate that. Augie also notified his manager and the California team. They immediately offered to pay for the repair. I appreciate that!

I had a fantastic experience with California Closets! From start to finish, the process was smooth and the results exceeded my expectations. Our designer was incredibly attentive, taking the time to listen to our needs and preferences. They crafted a customized design that perfectly accommodated our attic crawl space and included thoughtful features like built-in laundry hampers.
Additionally, the delivery and installation team was exemplary. They arrived on time, worked seamlessly around our other construction crews, and demonstrated impressive flexibility and professionalism throughout the process.

I interviewed California closets and another local company. I was very impressed with California closets and decided to go with them. They offered a lot more standard upgrades for no additional cost. Lolita was amazing to work with. She was very personable, professional and knew so much about designing closets of all different sizes and budgets. The installers were great and we could not be happier with our new closets. We did four closets in total and they look so good! But more importantly, they are extremely functional.

Rajiv Malkani at California Closets in Burlingame helped me turn an large, awkwardly shaped, dysfunctional space into a dream closet. I bit off more than I bargained for during demo, but Rajiv went above and beyond in guiding the project along. His advice was always sound, his attention to detail and measurements scrupulous, and his communication was fantastic. He saw the project through from beginning to end, and beyond. California Closets offered modern customization and options that fit my taste, and installation was seamless. I'm really happy I went with them. Rajiv was a true professional throughout; I thoroughly enjoyed this project because of him.
