I brought my Previa transmission here 10yrs ago. It had a freshly rebuilt engine and the shop I was at decided to ignore the transmission (I asked them to have it rebuilt while the engine was out).Anyways, I brought here, we set up a time to drop it and within 3 days it was done.I was sent pictures of the burnt planetary gears. So everything was changed out and also a shift kit added.I swear I made this review a long time ago, but maybe Google erased it.Even to this day, the Previa is running strong.

I've known Tom, the owner, for 50 years ... wouldn't trust any but him to work on my transmission.

Thank you Tom and his team they did a great job work my 1500 Chevy Silverado they have great communication great prices and outstanding turn out overall I definitely recommend them as the best transmission shop here in the bay thank you bayshore transmissions

Was referred there by our mechanic and they were less than helpful. Guy on the phone totally brushed off my husband saying he was busy and "just back from vacation" and to "call back on Thursday" because our check engine light wasn't on (our mechanic advised us not to drive the car due to transmission issues). Will be looking elsewhere and advising our mechanic to reconsider referring to this company.

Last true honest mechanic shop in the area. Tom will take the time to talk to you, look at your vehicle and give you an honest opinion. This is only shop where I will take me vehicles.

The service was excellent and the van is running better than when we got it. He was knowledgeable and a much better price rebuilding our transmission than the previous place who just recommended spending way more for a new part.
