They have a nice selection of organic coconut vegan drinks and other types of how very good foods. The problem is they don't have other options for other items. I enjoy but overall they are relatively good and not as expensive as other big-name stores!

Picking up groceries ( pick up order) and nobody speaks English, everyone is confused. Hire ENGLISH speaking and comprehending professionals Vons.

This market is so convenient and really good customer service. I shop here all the time and have groceries delivered too. If there's a problem with delivery-the customer is always accommodated. Thank you!

I have shopped here for years. For the last 6 months every time I go. They do not have the items I'm looking for. Basic items that are on their app. It's become ridiculous! I'm over it. Wasted time going there and leaving with nothing.

The night supervisor who claims she has worked for 30 years for the front end needs to work on her customer service, for she is very lousy and careless. She even gave me an attitude when I asked her to bag my groceries for a small order! From my personal experience as a long time grocery worker myself: I can tell you that She mismanages the front end of this vons location, for she lets the check out lines build up to reach "the longest lines I have ever seen", and as I've already mentioned this is at night when you'd expect it to be slow. I have observed her just standing behind the single cashier with self check out closed without a care in the world and watch the lines build up. I know she has the power to open a register because I've been through her check out line before. One of the employees heard me complain about this supervisors and advised me to take my complaints to corporate or higher management, for they were also careless and powerless. The night grocery department staff is very sloppy when they stock the shelves. They block off full aisles, constantly are in your way, and they stack boxes until they fall and create dangerous shopping conditions with trip hazards all over the place. I'm surprised the supervisor at night let's these conditions continue like it's normal. Get it together vons!

I've been shopping at Vons for years. This particular location has always been clean and the service friendly. Unfortunately, Vons has been contributing to the "Shrink-flation" we all have been experiencing. Wow! A week earlier, I bought the mixed greens which came in the 1LB package for $5; The week I was shocked when I went to buy the same pack and found this...the same greens for $5 but the package only contained 11oz. What can I say...... Very disappointed.

VERY GOOD deli sandwiches here! A young lady with a nose piercing made me the best Italian sandwich, and it was fresh, and they can customize on the fly. For about 10 bucks, these are easily 2 meals, and way better than a chain restaurant. Great attitude and quick, too.

A nice clean bright store. Fresh produce. Amy in Floral went above and beyond! Gorgeous balloon and floral bouquets custom made.

I have always enjoyed shopping at this store until recently. Recently I stood in line at the meat Dept. for over 30 minutes. Thinking that the Store Manager didn't know what was going on, I went to the Help Desk and encountered a man who said he was the Store Manager. I told him no one was helping the customers at the Meat Counter and he replied: "The customers can wait because we will be here all night" and then he laughed. Well since I was one of those customers waiting I didn't think his comment was funny. I then saw a lady who said she was the Asst. Manager and I told her what he said and she said: "Oh that's just his sense of humor, he was just kidding". I don't come to VONS Burbank to receive Jokes and rudeness from employees whose purpose for being employed there is to provide professional customer service to the customer. The VONS Corporate Office should most definitely look into the evening Management team and update their Customer Service skills. I want to continue to shop at that location because it is in my neighborhood but I don't want to experience that Manager/Asst Manager's unprofessionalism again. Please talk to them. Btw, the Manager's name was CARLOS BANOLOS and I am not sure what the Asst. Manager's name is. This incident happened May 23rd 2023 between 5:25-6:30pm. Thank You

My local Vons. There's plenty of parking and a Starbucks inside. The store is very clean and they are stocked well. The aisles are a little bit crowded where you have to move aside. The produce, meat and bakery are fresh. They also have ready to heat meals in the deli area.

I just don't know where to start with this Vons. It has very negative energy emanating from it and from many of its employees; particularly one individual that works the self-checkout. Very bad energy emanating from her. She kind of looks you up and down and not in a good way. Makes me feel uncomfortable. I kind of feel that she has racist undertones against those that are not her kind. It has happened to other YELP reviewers who have posted on here. She treats people like they are criminals. I am not sure what managenent is thinking by having such a bitter & unhappy individual overseeing the self-checkout. It is not a good look for Vons. There is never anyone at the customer service counter. Lines are often long. Merchandise is often not fully stocked. Meat is not choice. Vegetables & fruits are subpar. Prices are high but it does not reflect upon the quality. Paying high prices for mediocre quality is not something I desire to do in these economic times. The list goes on. Not the cleanest either. Stopped shopping here all together. It's a shame bc other Vons locations are well run, clean and fully stocked and have a nice selection of organic choices. Parking is often hard to obtain which just adds icing on the cake. Save yourself time, money & aggravation shop elsewhere.

Today, 8/31/23, I bought what was advertised as "lobster roll salad". The sign under the tray did not state that it was imitation so I assumed it was real. After getting home and eating it, it was obviously imitation. When I called the Meat Department, the low-functioning employee's response was, "We didn't say it was real." This is clearly a scam and false advertising. I tried calling the store several more times in an effort to speak with the manager. Nobody bothers to answer the phone when you try to reach Customer Service. I finally spoke with someone who apparently was a shift manager who said he would tell his boss. He said that the store receives the signs/labels and they just use what they receive them. I told him that if I buy something, I expect it to be as advertised and not a different product. This is a bait and switch. I made a call to the Customer Service at the corporate office and put in a complaint about this. I also purchased one crab cake. All I could taste was bread crumbs and I suspect that the crab cakes are imitation too. When I spoke with the shift manager" David, he offered to refund my money and provide me with another product of my choice. He completely missed the point, namely that this isn't an issue of one person who happened to call to voice a complaint. The issue is that everybody is being scammed and Von's needs to stop it's unethical business practices. They also need to answer their phones.

Walked in to a manager meeting in the middle of the store. Not really wanting to hear your problems with employees days off. Still no goat butter. But numerous cow butter. Checked out by who I think is the manager. Not a happy person. Have encountered him many times and he is never happy. Asked that my cold items be bagged in the two isolated bags I provided. My two cans of coffee and one large potato went in there and my meat and eggs did not. It's pretty simple. Just common sense would do it. But I always ask because this happens frequently. I guess one needs to watch very closely. It matters because it's very hot and I'm not close to home.

Preparing for a hurricane/tropical storm is stressful to begin with, especially as I had been in one of the worst a year ago in Florida. Tonight as a tropical storm approaches us in SoCal, Vons was extremely busy which I understand. All of us - including myself - were coming in to purchase water and other not-so-perishable goods. After spending a few minutes in the back of the line, an employee told myself and everyone behind me to "go to 4" which we understood to be checkstand 4. Suddenly, the bald male cashier started berating us and me in particular, telling us "no one told you to go there, the line is closed" and even when others assured him someone told us to go there, he kept arguing and treating me like I'm some kind of crazy person. Ultimately we found the person who told us to "go to 4" and it turns out we all misunderstood it - he meant AISLE 4 where there was a line! And then we were all told to go back to the back of the line, despite already waiting in line for 15 minutes. No apologies from anyone for the miscommunication, though at least the employee who told us to move was polite. Bald Guy continued almost gloating about how stupid we were, and I admit I used some foul language toward him that perfectly described him. but long story short, I got kicked out of the store by a "security" person named Tim who looked and sounded like trailer trash. He was dressed slobby and honestly didn't represent the store any better than the bald guy who had his perceived superiority complex. It's a good thing he didn't touch me physically or I would have called a lawyer, as nothing about my behavior would have suggested any physical violence. Again, it's a stressful time, surely for him as well... but whatever happened to "the customer is always right?" Even though of course, they aren't... but maybe at least pretend? I loved the convenience of this Vons, even though the prices are 2x higher than comparable stores ($8.99 for a 12 pack of sodas, even if it's buy one get one? Get real.) I really came to like some of the employees who I'd see here over the years. But to treat customers so poorly and not give the benefit of the doubt that maybe there's a miscommunication is insulting and trashy. Likewise, there were extra employees on hand at this time and, I don't know, maybe they could have just opened register 4 since there were about five people who thought they were told to go there? Even if we were wrong in the end, it was no reason to mock or treat anyone like they're stupid. (I also acknowledge that my own behavior could have been better, but I have heart and anxiety issues, was worried about this storm, and REALLY didn't want to be talked to like I'm stupid.)

It's very good market. I go every day get my seafood salad from the deli. Very nice friendly people and they go get Orsho from that fish department and the meat department. Jose is the best so nice you love the way they organize them showcase. Everything is fresh and good. I really appreciate Jose from the meat department.
