Mike and Theo went above and beyond to provide excellent service in moving our large brand new sofa into our third floor condo. They were fast , efficient, and very careful getting the piece into our unit; not to mention they were very, very friendly. I give them my highest recommendation!

I very very rarely ever write a 5 star review. Like, hardly ever. But there's a little history with me and UH.
I remember when I was in my late 20's early 30's (if I remember correctly) driving by this place on my way to Costco. Back then, I remember walking in there and thinking to myself, "Dang... all this stuff is cool.". But being young and broke (let's be honest, we've all been there...) I knew that I couldn't afford things that were *that* beautiful and unique given where I was professionally and financially at the time.
Fast forward until not too recently, things have changed for me. I went back to University, graduated with a degree that contributes more to society, and now I'm exactly where I need to be. Words can't explain how good it felt to come back to this place and buy ALL the cool things I want for my home - wife permitting.
About the store - Trying to describe the collections of furniture in this place is like asking someone to explain what a color looks like. It's impossible and can only be seen. One word that I can think of that's fitting is 'eclectic'. There's absolutely something for everyone in here. There are some legitimate art pieces in here. Some are awesome, and some weren't for me. Again... think eclectic. There was art and furniture from Bali, India, Vietnam, Malaysia (I think? Could be wrong on Malaysia), and a few other countries that I can't recall at the moment. On a totally separate note, Mike's Spotify playlist is pretty awesome. It's oddly fitting given the vibe of the store.
About the people - Mike and his family are super easy About the people - Mike and his family are super easy to talk to. They'll take the time to discuss the look, or better yet vibe, that you're after and bounce some ideas around.
The prices - Lets again be honest here. This is far from Ikea. There's nothing here, to my knowledge anyway, that will require you to assemble anything. That being said, this place is also very far from high end places life West Elm, Crate and Barrel, La-Z-Boy, or Potter Barn. It's absolutely reasonable and logical. A vast majority of the time, you get EXACTLY what you pay for.
The delivery experience - Tio and tall guy (I'm terrible with names - could be wrong on both counts) were on time, professional, courteous, and careful especially with my new wood floors. 10/10.
TLDR: Just stop by. Talk to Mike. If you buy go into it knowing the delivery process is great. Support small businesses.
You'll be happy that you did if not just to go and appreciate the wall art on display.

I absolutely loved this place. Definitely a hidden gem. I recently bought a 3 piece bedroom set and it was just what I needed. Mike was very helpful. He was very knowledgeable, measured everything for me, and even delivered the set to me in person. Highly recommend this place.

This was the best experience. My husband and I bought a couch. Great price, lovely couch. The staff was terrific. The delivery people came right on time and got the job done quickly. We can't say enough nice things. My husband already wants to go back to a piece of art work he noticed there. This is a local place. Everyone should support it.

I've always wanted to stop by this gem of an eclectic furniture store whenever I'm at Costco in Burbank. Situated off to the side, UH has a little bit of everything that ranges from the unique to classic. Just picked up six dining room chairs for far less than you'd imagine spending anywhere--including IKEA, which frankly--I don't know why anyone shops at who isn't in college. Quality is quality - and this place delivers. From ancient water fountains to rugs, bedroom furniture, mirrors and beyond--this is a place you'll inevitably find something you'll fall in love with at a reasonable price. Check it out - you won't be disappointed!

I can't recommend Urban Habitat highly enough! I saw this excellent nightstand and chest set on display outside their store, and it's exactly what I've been searching for. I read their reviews and saw everyone praising the owner, Mike, and now I know why! He's extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me set up a payment plan for the pieces and even helped me get them into my car. I've had the set for two weeks now and I'm extremely happy with it. They have a great selection of other furniture too, so I'll definitely be back! Thanks again, Mike!

Highly recommend checking this spot out! With such an eclectic stock and so many unique pieces, I found exactly what I was looking for. And they delivered my order the next day! I'll definitely be going back, as they get new items every week. Really fun place to shop. The owner and everyone working there are so informative and kind!

Had a fantastic experience shopping here. Mike is a wonderful salesman who knows the details on all the furniture, right off the top of his head. I found a very comfortable 2 piece sectional and chair for my living room. I love that the furniture is curated and changed out over time. I'm super excited to go back and find new pieces!
