Rightfully closed down by UPS. I can't believe that corporate allowed this franchise to exist as long as it did. The husband is a great guy, but I heard that towards the end of operation the wife's state of constant misery even started to rub off on him. So sad. I hope he escapes whatever that situation is...If someone ever desired to open ups a UPS franchise they should get ahold of the corporate office. This one is turn-key and you'd quickly erase the bad reputation of the previous operator.

It saddens me to see that this UPS Store has closed. I was their second customer (Box 102) when moved into my home here in Burbank. That was almost 18 years ago. Sal was amazing. As others have said he was always super helpful and super friendly. I've had some great conversations there with him popping in late in the evening to pick up my mail. I will miss these guys. I have no idea what happened but I wish them well..Meanwhile I am moving on to Earthclass Mail.

Learned my lesson after stopping by twice on two separate occasions and business was closed each time. Floored as to why yelp won't allow us to leave zero stars? This UPS is unreliable and a complete bother. However, I hope the manager is ok health wise and perhaps the sole reason for such a discrepancy?

February 2023 by Jim Wimmer
I had a mailbox here, prepaid for a year. They closed the beginning of February without notifying their customers. I found out when I went to pick up my mail and there was a sign on the door, that someone had posted, saying, “ If you would like to voice your displeasure with the closing of this location, please call this number!” When I found the owners, and asked about the remaining 7 months that I still had paid for, I was told, “Oh, we don’t issue refunds.” I was also told to file a change of address with the post office. I did that on the 6th of February. Then they posted a notice on the door saying that they would be open from 2 pm to 5 pm for picking up packages. That was a lie because I have been back 4 times since then and there is never anyone there. I had two packages in transit which showed they had been delivered and now I have no clue where they are!!! I went to the post office today and was told that the UPS store manager was continuing to pick up mail from the Post Office.

This UPS location is always a hot mess. Randomly closed, crazy long lines, boxes and piles of stuff are covering the walls and counters. Miraculously they've never lost a shipment of mine and for the most part the man and woman that are always working there are nice. I'm always nervous leaving packages with them and the random open hours (they will put signs up at times when they are temporarily closed or can no longer accept Amazon returns) make it a pain in the butt.

Just went into this UPS store and was told they would not accept my Amazon return because it needed to be packaged. And they had huge bags of stuff that needed to be returned that they hadn't gotten out of their store already. Seems like it's poor managanent to me.... even if you got a lot of inventory to return you should never be denying taking stuff because you didn't send it out stuff from the day before. Not acceptable.. I will be letting Amazon know.

The owners are trying their best to give good service but they desperately need help on how to run an efficient shop. There is no reason why this place gets backed up the way it does. The guy literally let the line stack up to 13 people out the door because he spent 40 min on one customer custom packing each one her 15 boxes while getting distracted every 5 min on something else going on in the back, the PO Boxes/ the printer etc. Half of those in line are in-and-out people who just need their stuff scanned to drop off, but have no choice but to wait in line, and they can't be serviced because the guy spends forever on one customer. The lady responded, "we're just very busy today" and by "busy" she's basically saying, 1-2 customers get seen per hour. Do yourself a favor and don't wait in this line if you don't want to waste half your day.

This place sucks. He's never open at the posted times. Waited till 10:20am this morning and still he was a no show. I watched dozens of people walk to his door only to find it closed. VERY UN RELIABLE.His store won't take anymore cable electronics. Better go elsewhere. When he is open, he's rude and not accommodating. The store is messy with package all over the place. Some opened and laying around. Go to the UPS Store on Alameda in the Pavillion's shopping center. The UPS store there, has 2 employees! The store is open! And it's clean and fresh. Very friendly staff and there is a notary present.

In all fairness, the gentleman at the counter is neither pleasant nor unpleasant. I just think he's overwhelmed. Every time I go to this location he's by himself with no one to help. I think he does his best under the circumstances. He doesn't have to hold my hand in order for me to get good service. I've gone to the Toluca Lake location and I've gotten attitude there with staff that have plenty of help. And no, this is not a fake review. Last time I checked I'm not invisible.

Second day in a row everyone is lined up angrily outside an hour and a half past opening time. Come on, UPS. You’re a lucky business not affected by the pandemic. Open when you say you’re going to open.

I have a love / hate relationship with this location. Lemme tell ya why ..There's usually a kind, tall gentleman working the front counter. He's very friendly, will ask about your day, tell you if you may be missing something, etc. He's a joy to visit. He's usually handling a very long line or someone who's misinformed but gets to everyone in a timely manner without you feeling rushed. But man, when he's not there, there's some miserable old Karen who's upset she's only making salary. I say this because that's literally what she said from her own mouth, "I'm only making salary, if you don't like it (my attitude/service) go somewhere else." On my last visit these were her words to another patron who arrived tryjng to confirm if she had the correct labels to mail her packages. "Why you gotta be so ruuuuuuude??" She had also been rude to me previously when I had the correct labels on my packages, she just didn't know what she was doing and didn't want to admit it. The kind gentlemen I mentioned before quickly came to my aid and she got quiet pretty quick. If you're looking for service with no attitude go in the mornings. If you can spare a few minutes there's a much better location a little further up Victory just past Laurel Canyon (same shopping center as Blaze and CITI Bank) that is usually empty when I go so I've been frequenting that location more. Long story short, only go here if you're dropping off a package or if you see the nice guy working.

This UPS location is a short walking distance from where I live. I've never been to any other UPS location but I might actually consider doing that. I agree with most reviewers has said, service is so slow, there's always a long line which barely moves. Today Saturday during the holiday rush, you would think they'll be scheduling more people? Nope, there's only one guy on duty and as expected, there's a ridiculous long wait to drop off a prepaid label. Enough said...simply avoid this location if you value your time.
