Pros: easy to reserve online, rental truck got the job doneCons: only one employee so there's a wait to pickup; I rented 2 dozen furniture pads for my move but they weren't packed and ready for me at the time of my pickup so the employee said I could fold and pack the used pads myself if I wanted them quicker. SO many spiders came out of those things and I was running late for my move so I gave up at about 15 pads even though I paid for 24. The 10' truck I reserved had a service light on - the tire monitor system needed servicing - and the tires needed inflating. Thanks to the employee for filling the tires when I asked, but that was just another thing that delayed me on getting to my move when I had helpers waiting for me. There was also some leftover junk in the cabin from the previous driver.

It has been a very long time since I visited U-Haul. It was a very pleasant experience. I needed to get a van to pick up large and tall Linen Cabinets for a bathroom remodel. The vans have rear cameras with lines that rotate according to the driver’s wheel. The vans have wood ribs along the side to tie down items. Kim helped me out and had me in and out on the road within 10 minutes.U-Haul has after hours delivery and full pre check in with your cell phone.I am very happy with the service and cargo vans from U-Haul.

I was first given a truck that immediately overheated and broke down, thankfully I was able to get it back to the place just in time. They were quick to get me a replacement van, which was nice. What wasn't nice was that I was given the van with 1/16 tank of gas (I didn't even realize how low it was at first but I got the low gas warning when i got to DTLA which was about a 20 mile drive), returned it with 3/8 tank, and was charged 45 DOLLARS for TWO GALLONS of gas because I was apparently given the van with a half tank. I guess that's how this place makes its money. Will not be returning, and I recommend everyone else go to any of the other Uhaul locations in the area because I've never dealt with anything like this from any of the others

Tires on the trailer were 100% bald filled with nails . I was flat when I got home and had to call rsa. They eventually came but I lost time. The location told me they fully check the unit before I left but how could they let bald tires on the road it is unsafe! I have pictures if need

I know it's hard for the almighty U-Haul the biggest nationwide moving truck rental company in the country to keep your trucks even stocked at locations these days, but making me drive to not only another city outside of Los Angeles (one of the biggest metro markets in the US!) but another county entirely to PICK UP my rental truck after being told it would be a pickup at the store I made the order or if not one of the other close locations in Burbank is pretty ridiculous. Making the customers pay the extra gas and time to drive to get the trucks is the "new Uhaul" normal. Pretty weak and I won't be using UHaul on the next move now knowing the effort to get trucks to rental locations "like the good old days" is not part of the service and they make the customer drive half the moving distance just to get the truck AND pay for the gas! Like I don't have better things to do with my time the days of my actual move. Unimpressed customer of many years, not the UHaul from days of old for sure....

Great experience renting a 10 foot truck and car carrier for a long distance move. The location was clean, tidy, and well organized. We worked with Kim who was efficient, kind, and so very helpful getting us set up with the truck and car transport. She answered our questions with knowledge and patience. She observed us having a bit of a struggle and came back outside to share guidance on how to safely load and secure our vehicle. Kim's thoughtful and professional assistance gave us a boost of confidence as we began our moving adventure. Thank you Kim!!

This was my goto place. I rent trailers there every month. The older gentleman that worked here a few years ago was awesome. He worked the morning shift and I am pretty sure he was the manager. Now it seems to be run by kids that could not care less about you. They seem miserable and pass that feeling on to you. I have been packing up a friends house and buying all my boxes there since they have a policy that they will buy back the boxes you do not use. I went to bring back five of the boxes to trade them in for smaller ones. They guy asked me for a receipt. I have never been offered a receipt. I always paid by credit card so I figured that it would not be an issue. It was. They would not even trade them. I would have settled for two small boxes for the trade of the five large ones. I know it is my fault since i did not make sure to get the receipt but it just makes the whole thing worse when the kid behind the counter could not care less and would not even sit up when he is telling me I was f*cked. I am done with this place. I will rent my trailers from Home Depot from now on.

I give this U-Haul location one star only because of employee Kobe....I hope I'm spelling his name properly. Needed to rent a truck on Friday March 25th to get a bunch of stuff out of a mobile home, rented the truck in the afternoon, went to put gas in for the next morning.....put the nozzle in the gas tank, and started pumping....immediately gas started pouring out from underneath the truck. Pulled the nozzle out and was dumbfounded. Went to tell the guy in the gas station there was a fuel spill. He came out with some orange cones and I told him what happened. He took a look underneath and realized that someone had siphoned gas from the tank and left the hose dangling still. What The Hell?? One little spark, gas leaking out....possible Big Boom. I knew I wasn't going to drive it back like that. Tried calling the roadside assistance number on the paperwork and was on hold...and hold......and hold. Screw this, friend of mine drove me back to the U-Haul location and I told them what happened.....had a picture of underneath the truck and the hose sticking out....this is where employee Kobe comes in....he was like "whoa...we got hit". At first he told me to that I needed to call my AAA to have it towed back and I'm like "oh nay nay"....I'm not using one of my free towing jobs for your broken down truck. Showed him the U-Haul roadside assistance number and he called. He was on hold for a while. Was told eventually that it would be towed back, but I couldn't get a refund until the truck was back on the lot.....whatever. Had to rent another truck....which hadn't been tampered with and was told the location manager would be in on Saturday and Kobe had tried to give a discount on the new truck, but it required a manager to do that. Drove by the gas station on Saturday morning.....truck was still there.. Manager Kimberly was rude and was blaming us for the truck problems. Really? We went to the location one night, drilled a hole in the gas tank, siphoned the gas then came back the next day and rented that same truck? Are you kidding me lady? She said we had a contract so it was our problem. Yes Kimberly, a contract for the rental of a safe and reliable truck.....that truck was neither in any way whatsoever. You're a manager? Are they that desperate for managers? Told earlier in the day that it would be taken care of by noon on Saturday......on the way home I drove by the gas station again.....it's 3 pm.....truck is still there. Took the second truck back, asked why the first truck was still at the gas station.....different employee said......uhhhh, don't know. He said I needed to call roadside assistance and I said it's not my responsibility. I asked for the name and number of the manager, will be in touch with the corporate people next week. Stay away from U-Haul if possible.....at least stay away from this location. They obviously don't do any kind of inspections on their vehicles. Dear God.....driving off their lot in one of their vehicles could be endangering your life.
