I walked in and looked around.Never had been here before so quietly walk to the attendant and ask her if she has any of my anime, whilst she ate food, shook her head no and mumbled something.Just my experience and it wasn't a good one really. Posting this same day.

This is pretty much a children's store. A lot of toy stuff or things children and some adults would like. That's how this store exists. They are the main consumers. I had my teenage son and his sister go in and look around to see if they wanted anything while I waited in front of the store with my toddler. The cashier stereotyped my kids and started following them around the entire store. It pissed me off and I signaled my kids to "let's go". She followed them until they exited the store. I would never spend a dollar here. This place is also overpriced. Go to Amazon. The things I managed to check while I waited in front of the store is cheaper online.

Big fan of Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, but especially this bright easy peasy shop filled to the brim with cute collectibles, fun figurines, plushy things, tea sets, chopstick sets, home goods, posters, clothing, candy, accessories, and oh so much more!Located on the ground floor of the Burbank Town Center just before Mrs. Field's Cookies and Macy's, past the food court and World Market on the right hand side if entering from Magnolia Blvd from the main entrance of the mall... On the left ,if coming from Macy's and the Cypress Avenue side/main parking garage. This store is always well kept and the customer service is through the roof. Some items can run higher than you'd expect but being a specialty gift shop and toy store of sorts it's hard to find half of what they carry at a better deal, if they aren't already the best deal. Definitely prefer coming in and to this location over others or navigation the website which has a faulty store locator feature. Online shopping may be the best for some places, but for TJL in-store and on the floor is what you should adore.Visit the Burbank - Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle... It's super kawaii!!

I love the store in Burbank here with my boyfriend where we’re together and they have good stuff that we’re into like a Nintendo anime. Pokémon just to name a few I wish they would sell more soundtracks to these series which would be really cool if you’re a big fan of Japanese culture like this kind of stuff you should check out this place it’s really fun.

I'm so happy this store is here. It's one of the few stores I want to go into and check out at this mall! The presentation of the items and merchandise that they have here are very well done! I believe that's why it looks so welcoming! If you're a fan of Tokyo culture, anime, etc., this place may have the items to get as a gift for others or even yourself! It may be pricey, but from someone who has been to Japan, it's actually cheaper to get from these stores than over there!

Employees are very nice and store is clean! Never had problems with an employee following me around either. Overall nice and prices (especially for their Rilakkuma) are very good!

Large selection of Japanese merch, from figures (Godzilla, Sailor Moon, Avengers, Ultraman, Vocaloid, One Piece, Naruto, Love Live!, Gundam, etc. etc.) to makeup items to quality stationery to tons of plushes to snacks and small gifts. Good place for the budget shopper who is looking for fun gifts that are practical and cute but inexpensive. They have ambient J-Pop in the background, signs to explain the uses of items that may be foreign to the typical Westerner, maintain good cleanliness, and the staff are kind. It seems odd that they keep moving locations within the Burbank Town Center, though. I always lose track of where they are in a few months.
